[Q] SMS Short Code Warning - General Questions and Answers

Hey all!
So I'm trying to use SMS Barrage to send many (MANY) messages to a local radio station to win a contest for concert tickets. You can send in as many entries (texts) as you want, so i'd figured i'd automate the process. HOWEVER, the number i have to send the texts to is a 5-digit short code, and my phone throws this warning up every time a text is trying to send to a short code. Now, granted, this is nice that Google is trying to protect us, but I feel I can take care of myself. Does anyone know a way to disable this warning, as it appears for EVERY singe message that is sent via sms barrage, so not very automated. I'm using a Droid Bionic, running an unofficial version of CM10 found here.

Just a note, this issue seems fixed with 4.2.X, as there is now an option to remember your choice of "yes, i want to send the dang message."

Notification of messages/mail/voice/missed calls/etc...

Hi guys,
When i receive a message i don't always get the chance to read it straigh away. I also sometimes don't hear the message tone.
What i would like is notification every x minutes of unread messages/mail aswell as missed calls and voice mails.
i used to use something from spb which showed the missed/unread items as well as repeating a beep every x minutes.

Anyone know something suitable to do the same even though im using touchflo?
Cheers
you should be able to use spb phone suite without the today plugin
SPB phone suite does work even with TF3D enabled. It doesn't neccessarily have to be on the today screen.
There was a topic about it in the SW section.
maybe try this app:

[Q] Flash sms notification

Hi people.
My provider (Vodafone Portugal) has a service that you introduce a USSD code to send a message to another person to ask them to call you back. It is called Toking.
With Toking basically the receiver gets a flash sms (class 0) that pop's up on the screen but isn't stored on the phone's memory.
Don't know if this just happens to me, but when I receive one of those I don't get any notification ring which is kind of annoying because I allready missed a lot of those because I didn't hear them.

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Translation: "TOKING:Number ######### is asking you to call him back."
So just to get things clear what I'd like to do is make the phone ring when I receive this kind of flash sms so that i can know when people want me to contact them.
Is there any way to achieve this?
Thank you for any help.

Yes, I developed it. But I need suggestions on how to improve it.

[Q] Group MMS messages come in as unformatted code, PLEASE help me figure this out!

I have a feeling this could be a T-Mobile APN issue. The reason I say that is because this was not an issue yesterday; well, at least not THIS manifestation of the issues I've been having. I'm talking to T-Mobile right now too, but I want to see if anyone else has ever experienced something like this. It happened overnight; I had not adjusted my settings in anyway between yesterday and today.
Attached is the mess that is most of my MMS right now. That's the beginning and end of one "message" - there are a lot of characters in between that I cut out for posterity. Can anybody explain it?

I stand corrected, it's not just group messages. Just got a "text" from a single contact that may or may not have had a picture.. ugh.
This is happening to me too. HTC One m7. Happened out of nowhere.
