[MOD/PATCH] PDroid and V6SuperCharger for CM9

Hey guys,
I created a patch for CM9_alpha5, which allows you to use PDroid by svyat and the V6 Supercharger Script by zeppelinrox with CM9
Please read the instructions carefully!
And as always: DO A BACKUP

Main-Instructions
1. Download the update_cm9_alpha5.zip (at the end of this post)
2. Reboot into recovery and flash it
3. Reboot your system

Instructions for V6SuperCharger
Pre-Installation
1. Do the Main-Instructions
2. Download the following Starter-Kit: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1241890&d=1344115573
3. Unzip it and Place the folder in your /sdcard
4. Download and install ScriptManager from GooglePlay.
5. Open ScriptManger, click "Browse as Root" and grant root permissions
6. Run the StartMeUp.sh with ScriptManager as root in the folder you created during step 3 and follow the instructions on the screen.

Now your environment is correctly set up and you are good to go for V6.
Installation
1. Download the following file: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1156827&d=1340704008
2. Make sure to erase the .pdf extension, so that it is called "V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-Update9_RC10.sh"
3. Place V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-Update9_RC10.sh on your /sdcard
4. Run V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-Update9_RC10.sh via ScriptManager as root.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen. (Read the V6Superchager-Thread for more informations.)
6. Enjoy the Speed

PARANOID has CM9 as base thats right, but never than less it's another ROM and needs it's own modified Services. Jar

Yes it is, but it works on cm9-20120719-NIGHTLY-galaxysmtd.

start the script again, it would tell you if its working or not.

i cant download the superchargers installation file

how long should it take to reboot?
mine just turned off and isn't booting at all for the first 10 minutes...
EDIT: guess i had to boot it on my own hehe, im wondering why didn't it reboot...

if you're asking if it will work on non touchwiz roms, I'm not sure as I only use roms based on tw.
the prev version worked on cm9, etc, but not cm10 or any jellybean.
if you're not on touchwiz maybe you can test & report back for us? or wait for someone else to do it.

Works great on SGS2!

Working great on GT-N7000. No FC. I'm on RocketMIUI v3.
I just installed the apk and it works but I guess it depends on weather the libs are present in the ROM. Rocket ROM had it preinstalled.
EDIT: Works perfect on Iconia A500 tablet which had Polaris preinstalled in the ROM too.

Can you tell me the source of the file? Is it for poor note? I am asking it because when I am checking for update from polaris office 3, it is showing no update available.

the update feature in v3 won't work with the note as this version was meant to be exclusive to the s3 & poss' the note 2.

Try this (I haven't tried yet):
Extract library from apk
Put them (the four *.so files) in system/lib with correct permissions
Delete library folder from apk
Put the apk In system/app with correct permissions
Reboot

Worth a try!
If anyone does try this method, don't forget to re-sign the apk after editing.

[MOD][APP][GB][CM9][CM10][MIUIV5][CM10.1][CM10.2] SwapSD APK - NEW CM10.2 A1 !

I modified an application to reverse the USB storage
The flashable zip works on all galaxysl sys-parts script basic CM10
This simple gui allows you to swap the two so your larger "external sd" is mounted as "/mnt/sdcard/" and the smaller sd internal memory is mounted as "/mnt/sdcard/external_sd".
You can use the application and restart to apply the changes

Thanks man. Great work as always. if you want I can add cm9 and gingerbread in same app. So it will became universal. we have to just add some few lines for that.

Yes just change the installation script as to CM10 should cheat if the application does not install on the partition data
open the zip with winrar
in the assets floder you find both file edit with notpad++
vold.fstab.default and vold.fstab.swap
It can therefore be used for all other device but must be adjusted and injected into the application system
It is not the great development but I think this application should be in all customsrom as the issue of swap back often
discovered in a rom section sony

This was needed. Of possible can you make it for CM9 too?

JB MIUI is based on CM10

i tried in CM10 Alpha 3 and works Ok but in Alpha 4 didn't appear the app. Anyone has the same problem?

Bootloop for me on LF2.

The best of tweaks!!!!

Guys just try this tweak by flashing once and I guarantee that you ll experience that so called buttery smoothness both in apps as well as games. This collection of tweaks contains all the required stuff so that u don't have apply each tweak separately.
Recommended that no tweaks are applied before. Uninstall seeder if u have installed. Entropy values should not have been modified.
Just download the tweak and flash it in the recovery. You must have at least 10mb according to the developer. I recommend u to delete some useless stuff like Apollo, android keyboard,etc. U can install those stuff like normal apks.
If you want to verify that the tweaks are working just open terminal emulator and type:
Su
Directinject
Set the min free values according to how u deal with apps by typing:
Su
Rambooster
Type the following in the same to achieve zero lag in the ui:
Su
Entro
That's it! Experience real working tweak!
Tested on cm9 build 9, cm10.1 beta1.

If you are trying to use this tweak on phones with overclocked kernels, just copy all the stuff from system folder to the respective folders in your phone and set the permissions(check all the boxes using root explorer). Use 600mhz while transferring stuff into system partition. Use any root apps to clear dalvik cache.

There's no relation between these tweaks and WiFi. Flash a better kernel or rebooting solves the Wi-Fi bug. If you are using cm10.1 b3 then WiFi hotspot won't work.

Yeah. It does work. What kinda questions are u guys asking??? There is no relation between the kernel and the tweak above. The bugs if present is are inherited by rom and kernel.

It does work on every rom built for any kind of android phone with init.d support (all of custom Roms have it).

In simple words u just don't know how to flash.
Like I said around 10mb must be free according to developer. But the quality of the recoveries we use just won't fill the memory completely. So delete all the unwanted stuff like wallpaper apks, media files, boot animation, unwanted language packs, etc. Just make the ROM look slim. Flash it. If it boots then flash gapps. If it is flashed properly, then flash that kernel. If your phone works correctly without any apps force closing, then reboot to recovery and flash the stuff.
U can install all those stuff u deleted later. @everyone just don't post stuff like ROM not booting, etc,etc. First confirm whether the rom is booted and then flash this stuff.

Do you kidding me? I am not a st*p*d noob xD... The ROM has 50 MB of free space, so this isn't the problem. The ROM and kernel work perfect, mean that must be the SD card or these scripts or both...

To make The ROM looks like Touchwiz Follow the Following :
1st : Flash Note 3 Launcher Via Recovery (Wipe Dalvik Cache)

2nd : When On Welcome Screen Choose "Touchwiz Launcher"
3rd : Download (Cm10.1 S4 Touchwiz Theme) and install it as a simple APK

4th : Go to Settings>Themes>apply "S4 Launcher" .
Then Feel the Touchwiz look On CM10.1 :good::good::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Have you compared the performance of the phone without pureperformance ? And then later with pure performance because cm10.1 is really smooth in generel

So yeah installed script and can say it's not a lot faster than before. The only thing I have felt is that this script is changing your systen animation to 0.5 so it feels faster if you open apps and so on.

TwinTurbo also is great for performance.

I installed this and my antutu score was 8100..I never had that big score. But than again, i tested it with antutu version 4, and I don`t know if they still grade the phone by the same values as before

Also PureAudio is great mod from this dev. But this is by the way, if someone would try it.

Interesting.

My phone gettin' slow when installing this mod. My phone works fast without using this. Also in game, asphalt 8, was very lame in loading, although i use performance&deadline 800/800...

Yeah, I've been through that thread a few times. He only says not to use v2 although his Sig says he is using v3 (the advantage of making your own toys I guess) his kernel thread has little activity and I can't post in development forums yetso I guess I'll just wait. I've noticed the phone passing up recently though so may need to flash a newer version of the rom.
