I'm hoping that maybe some case manufacturers troll these boards; why have we not seen any snap on hard cases or silicon cases for the asus tf700? A la;

I am aware of two silicone cases, but they are very bulky and absolutely horrid from an industrial design standpoint (ie: fugly).
What's it going to take to get some simple snap on cases for those of us who run the tablet without the keyboard dock?
There were two independant projects in the prime forum where people used their own money to construct cases. Current status as of last time i checked is one was on kickstarter and the other was waiting on production, tooling, etc.
They both said if the prime case was successfull and they could make their money back they would start on the infinity.
Likely because there is such a low number of people with infinities compared to, say, samsung or ipad, we will not likely see custom molded cases for our tablets any time soon.
Sorry :/

my friend has this case for his iphone and I love it. It is similar to a silicon case but it's more like a soft plastic/hard rubber. it is not sticky and it does not collect dust like a silicon case. It is pretty low profile and doesn't add much bulk. It has a lightly textured finish and it's not glossy so it doesn't show prints. Does any one know of a case that is comparable?
Hi,
It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but I think you may like this one based on what you said. I'm pretty happy with it.

You can buy it from: http://www.amazon.com/Premium-Thermoplastic-Polyurethane-Universal-Silicone/dp/tech-data/B004PJY8P0
Just so you know, their picture is crappy (you'll see that their picture doesn't look anything like my pictures), but the actual product looks like the ones I posted here. I don't know why they don't post better pictures. More people would buy it if they did lol.
GT
Kinda cool I think..(just kinda) I just found it weird and interesting lol
But I wouldn't really get it cause that's too much metal around the phone (if it really is metal)
and it would mess up reception and of curse battery life like crazy

Same thing as this:
Not my cup of tea. I like that its different though.
Looks cool and unique, but also makes the phone look gigantic IMO. That or the guy has tiny hands in his video.
I'd be concerned about having to slide the phone into the case since it appears to be metal (?). I'd be afraid of the screen or sides getting scratched if the metal was even the slightest bit warped due to manufacturing defect or just a drop or something.
All my opinion. Overall, it isn't something I'd buy because I like slim cases and hate flip cases. But it sure is different.
After trying all the other slim hard cases that were available on Amazon. I finally found, the one I like the most. I should say, Vostrostone Ultra-thin PC Hard Case Cover are the best so far. They add no bulk what so ever and sometimes, I even forget the fact that I have the case on my phone. Fits tight and does not feel like its going to fall off the phone anytime. As with any minimalist case, this does not provide all around protection but the lip is raised on the glass that might protect incase your phone falls face down. Since, I baby my phones, I dont think that should be an issue for me.
It has all the perfect cutouts for all the ports, along with the camera, Mic and sensors in the back.
If you still looking for one: I would say, take the plunge you will not regret.

Thinking about getting this case. Seems good and is curved at the back just like the way Mi5 original body is. And would look perfect if you have one for the Gold Mi5s.
Any opinions?

Hi, I got this case by accident, and I can assure you it's absolutely dreadful.
I haven't even managed to fit my phone in it correctly and it definitely does not offer much in terms of protection.
(it's very low profile/thin etc. but I don't care if I can't put my phone in it)
My advice would be to absolutely avoid it.
The same manufacturer makes a pretty decent one .
It not nearly as thin and discrete but it offers real protection and has a (very small) front lip that protects the screen.
That's the only decent one that I found.
Hi guys and girls,
So i received my case approx 2 weeks ago and was very happy with it until I removed it from my jeans pocket on Sunday to discover that one of the bottom edges had failed. I did not do anything different that I had being doing so I was surprised. What has surprised me more is the refusal of OnePlus support to replace the faulty case, stating I must have done something wrong. In my opinion the case has been used as intended and should be able to survive in my pocket without getting damaged.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Ok, thankfully they have agreed to issue a replacement.
Cases like this are very fragile on those edges. You must have pull the phone out when that part of the case was stuck in your pockets and that's why it broke. Glad to hear you got a replacement.
i have similar case for iphone 7, same issue ! wastage of money. ordered Nillkin case from china.
