Can someone point me to a link to a disassemble guide for our phone? My unibody has become horribly scratched by a hard case from inside wear(I regularly cleaned it too). So I want to disassemble My phone and re paint the unibody. Note that I do have phone disassembly experience so I am not a noob taking his phone apart.
Thanks, Kole

It seems like everytime I put a case or skin on my phone the touch screen becomes really really glitchy and jumping. Super annoying, I have read the touch screen issue with grounding but just wanted to ask those of you who have skins on your phones experience this without any hacks to the grounding pin?
This happens on every ROM I put on...
Sense 3.0 and 3.5, Miui, and CM7.
Edit: When using the phone without a skin or case, works wonderfully.

I'm using the case-mate barely there case and dont have any issues. That seems kinda weird. What case are you using?

I'm using a vertex case right now.
Can you tell me if your phone says Made in China or Taiwan and the screen panel please?
My wife's Sensation suffers from the same thing.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you I'm at work. My phone was made in Taiwan and I'm not sure what the screen panel number is where can I find that?
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using xda premium
It's ok bud.
To check the panel you can:
Download terminal emulator and note everything from market, then open terminal emulator and type: dmesg
Press and hold down anywhere on the screen and copy all
Then open note everything and copy the everything here
Tap menu button within note everything and look for Panel
You should see something like Panel_Auo or Panel_Sharp
Thanks man for your help

I have asian version. Made from taiwanese.
Why you dont try the solution by pull up a little bit of the grounding pin as can be seen in the u tube?
I suspected, maybe due to you always open the back cover to much could cause the grounding pin pull inside..just my 2 sen..

How do you like your Vertex case? I am thinking about buying one and cannot find anything on the internet about it.

I've got a vertex and really like it. Its the only case I found that has cut outs for all t the holes in the rear cover, and it looks and feels really nice. I had a tpu case before it which was decent but the naztech vertex is better.

I know i put glue on a place the factory digitizer did not have, where the white lines are going down, could have this affected the sensors?
Sent from my HTC Glacier using xda premium
I verified and already put the glue where it is supposed to go but it still does not work on the lower end of the digitizer... If anybody can help I'd really appreciate it!

I have been looking everywhere for a low profile case without much luck, and was wondering if anyone has experience with the mall kiosk type skin installations? This phone's design is GORGEOUS so I am loathe to put it into a clunky case that defeats the whole purpose. Any help y'all can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I realize they have a locator, in fact there is one down the street from me, but my question is about the efficacy of said skins when installed by the staff on this particular phone model.

Let em do it, if they screw it up they have to do it over. Either way you walk out of there with a perfect installation.

Yep, I think I'm going to head to the mall sometime this coming week and have them install the matte skin. It's pretty slick looking.
Hi guys,
Am facing an issue while clicking pics at night. I have uploaded a sample pic and as u see all the lights create an issue. Could someone pls tell what the issue is and why it's caused and how to resolve it?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Wow thats bad.. I'd turn auto ISO off switch to the lower settings and take the photo while shooting video. That should fix it. Its as if the camera is adjusting between the lights and the night sky.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
You might try another phone too. Mine had that issue tpp

So is this a hardware issue?

Might sound silly but it really looks like your lens might be dirty. Might want to give that a check just in case.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
I don't think so. Here is a pic during day time. Day pics are awesome. It's the night ones
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
It's nothing dude, just the visible souls of the objects that you are photographing.
Hey. Change replace your phone. Odds are there is a scratch on the optic causing the stars. I got that info talking to a buddy of mine who is a professional photographer.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
It may be a dirty or scratched glass. You won't notice it in the daylight as much. The actual lens inside focuses past the glass, but at night that will create a really soft image like yours.

Thnx guys. Going to atnt to have the device replaced. Hope they do it
