Does anyone notice a huge battery loss after flashing the kernel?
Now it consumes over 20%in 5 hours idle time, when it used to loss 2%

So I've been running ARHD 3.6.4 with the faux123 kernel that came with the rom and found that my battery life was subpar. I then installed Faux123 2.3r3 and still noticed a huge battery drain. I charged my phone full and then left it at the bedside unplugged for 8+hours and found it went down to 70%. I snooped around a bit and found that my uptime and awake time were on sync the full 8 hours and I believe that means my cpu is running the whole time. So I read around a lil bit and found that bricked kernel doesnt have this problem, so I installed bricked 1.4r1 and now the awake and uptime differ but I also say people say that I should not use Daemon controller but install setcpu. Is that correct or can I use Daemon controller with bricked kernel? Also last question, whats the best governor to use, Ondemand or smartass or conservative? Thanks and sorry for the long post.

In 0.2.3r3 faux disabled classical Android power management and fully replaced it by its own, so sleep time is equal to the uptime.

Ondemand provides you better perfomanse with moderate battery drain.
Сonservative is laggy a little (somebody noticed not perfectly smooth UI), but its more power effectively.
The creator of bricked recommends using ondemand, and system tuner for overclocking I think.

I'm running nscollab 1.60 with Franco kernel and was wondering if anyone's got some good custom voltage settings I can test out for a stronger battery life?
Essentially I'm a data user. Usually on the screen 4+ hours of the days, running market, fb and browser and of course texting.
Currently I'm messing around with smartassv2 200/800 deep idle off, BLN off, and kernel default voltage and I'm about to run my first battery calibration ...
Thanks on advance
EDIT: another side note is I've noticed my screen gets pretty hot now. When I'd run stock GB it wouldn't do that.
Could you people please post the average battery life for our phone(number of months before we need to replace the battery itself).
My phone is just over a year and battery drains very fast. Have tried all kernel, ROM etc... but of no use. I think I have to replace the battery.
I'm on Kyrillos v9.4, kernel G3Mod v2.3
83Mhz, Max 800-1200MHz, Scaling: Ondemand
In call: 83min, 400max, Scaling: Ondemand, Priority:100
Time profile: 1AM - 7AM (here put the time you sleep), min/max 83MHz, Scaling: Powersave, Priority: 99
Screen off: 83min, 400max, Scaling: Ondemand, Priority:98
my battery lasts three days with normal/heavy usage
after flash the rom do a full charge the battery till 100%, do a batery calibartion with this app and next full discharge the battery. Next do a full charge again nexto to a full dicharge. Do this cycle 2/3 times and your battery should be ok. Try this and tell the results..

I am experiencing poor battery life with cybergr rom version 12.
settings are governer - ondemand
min cpu freq - 200
max cpu freq - 1000
kernel - tried both matrix 19.5 as well as air 4.
battery drains by 10% in every hour.
I have to recharge my phone thrice a day.
I did fresh installation but it did not solve my problem
please help.
I really love this rom
BetterBatteryStats. Also, try a new ROM if need be.
Let's make a poll:
What is your overnight battery drain?
And put following info:
ROM
Kernel
Overclocking
????
I have:
XBSA 5.2
Samno kernel
under clock to 800 MHz (to conserve battery)
Overnight my phone loses about 10%...
What about yours?
