It would be neat if you can set it to make collision effects when you bump it with another phone running the app (something like Bump).
So basically, move for sound effects, bump for collisions.

At first it felt like motion detection == random light saber sound effect. But then I got more used to how to differentiate the different actions. Got a nearby friend to also download the app and I was sold. Great fun when playing with others. One criticism I have though, is the sound effects seem like they're built for single strikes. When I do continuous/flowing motion attacks, it just doesn't sound right. But that's kindof asking too much. Still, pretty good app.

Nice idea for a game! Will give it a whirl!
I have a question.
How to control the pacman to move?
The game right now looks designed more for city driving but I think this would be an awesome idea for an exercise game for walkers/runners. If you can find a way to speed up game play for pedestrians (maybe dots are smaller or closer together?), this would be a lot of fun. The neighborhoods around where I live have a lot of cul de sacs and little side roads, which would be perfect mazes.
What about Multiplayer-Mode? Someone should be able to connet and play the ghosts, that would be really cool

There is a time limit and the ghost will still chase you if you leave the gaming area.
After I fixed the remaining bugs, I will try to implement a kind of "unlimited mode" for walkers/runners.
Anyway if the game is working or not. The idea is awesome.
This is indeed a novel idea, and I'm sure will be quite fun for drivers, while they're being SUPER safe of course...
I just tested it out though, and it seems to keep my GPS connection active even after closing the app? I also terminated it through a task killer, and the GPS icon was still in my status bar...Understandable as it's still in beta-form, but just wanted to notify bompo and see if anyone else had experienced this.

Great idea really, congrats.
Besides GPS turn-of problem as scar45 stated, I had the problem that the app did not update my current location.
I see my self at home, although I'm at the office And I checked my current location on Latitute as upto date.
And I also thing that the multi-player option would be great, collecting yellow dots with a friend on bicycle will a lot fun

No, I tried that during development and it wasn't very spectacular. But if the interest is big enough (decent amount of dowloads) I would like to add other 3D shapes like stars, spheres, pyramids etc, maybe an option to load your own custom 3D objects.

Try to do something based on the Flying Windows screensaver or something similar, it will look cool too!

I really like the retro look! I like to theme my phone sometimes to different things.. changing wallpapers and fonts and such. This is a great one for an old school but futuristic look!

You guys sure like your Windows 95 Well, if the app is downloaded by a reasonable amount of people and I know I am not doing the work in vain, I will do a poll or so to let the communitiy decide what the next feature should be.
Sorry to bump this again, but I'm noticing that quite a few spanish-speaking people are downloading the application. I'd be really happy if a native spanish-speaker could take the time to translate the preferences menu. The whole text is about one screen page. It's a good game, however, the fog/sun effect that's on the right makes it really hard to play the game. You should consider removing it.
Also, quality sound effects/song would certainly improve the game as the current song is repetitive and gets boring quickly.

But you can disable it, in settings menu (gear icon in main menu) select low quality.

maybe you can try and improve it in a way that adds a beautiful effect in the game(as already is)
but must not effect the gameplay in any kind of way. (where you crash because you can't see where is your bike.)

Hi, I`m a student from germany who made his first game. I have no idea how to get people to play it. Therefore, I`ve decided to post it here. It would mean a lot to me if you could try it and in the best case, like it.
Its a mini game for short breaks (while waiting for the bus). Just one endless mode (depending on your skills) with increasing difficulty. I like especially this kind of game. Normally I dont play games on phones except those mini games with the intention to beat the others highscore

Hi, I have just released my first app "Kolrs", and so any initial feedback is very welcome. The UI is a bit plain in this initial release, but the functionality is quite okay.
Basically you generate super sharp HD wallpapers (no JPEG encoding loss), using different effects, and then set it instantly - no browsing and downloading needed!
Some effects do needs tweaking, certainly the color schemes - but some of the generated wallpapers looks really nice.

I have now released version 1.2. Now you can redo an effect instantly by tapping the middle section of the screen. Also, all effects have been reworked and a new one, Glow, has been added. Feel free to try it.

Hm thanks for the crash report iRYO400 - I think it was unresponsive UI due to the amount of time Avantgarde takes, so its not a crash per se. :|
I just updated the app now with a new effect called Trifecta and bette colors btw - try it out - its v1.22.
V1.3 added with info and new screenshot in the first post.
Did not find a way to edit the thread title I believe.
