Hey there member of Galaxy SL.
I got a little problem my original Android Keyboard, I am running Jelly Bam 20121107. This problem start when I uninstall Quickpic, after i uninstall it, the Android Keyboard keep crashing every 20 seconds and this is very big problem because I always use my phone for everything relating with the keyboard :crying:.

When I try to use the keyboard:
If someone know some tips, please post it. Just try don't to say,"Just wipe out the memory.", i don't like to delete my phone hard disk because there's too many apps.

hi there. can't you just use another keyboard?
perfect keyboard is my fave.
another thing. don't just wipe everything, just keyboard cache and settings. if that wont help - try cache, dalvic cache clearing from cwm menu. don't forget ant to fix permissions at the end.
if any of that wont help - just try another keyboard.
Go to system then apps then reinstall keyboard and ur problem is solved

Thanks for the information, try it later , my phone is dead right now because it run out of battery.
EDIT: I didn't work , tried it and the crash report from the name Android Keyboard to Perfect Keyboard. Any idea?

Uhhhh..... I don't get it.
Go to system folder and open apps.then reinstall the keyboard (Latin IME.apk)

if nothing helps - do apps backup and reflash new system fw. and after that restore your apps.

Already found the medicine, the medicine is to install
SwiftKey which is i already have the paid one. Try with the keyboard you suggest, look's nice but it wont work.
Thanks for the Tip, if you dont tell me to used other keyboard app probably i already wipeout my phone right now.

Install the vending.apk with adb, or the BM.zip with xRecovery. The green/blue streak you see in the image is my wallpaper as the apps lists are transparent so you will see your wallpaper after installing, and might not look too good on a light background.

I just tried to sideload it and says Failure older sdk, hrmmmz, lost lol.

OMG i love it awsome work I just have one question, is it possible for me to have this in swedish? Because everything is English now. Before I had the market in swedish.

Try clearing the cache ect and see if that sorts it.
I know have a market in my apps, but when tapping it, nothing happens. I used the xrecovery mode, rebooted, but nothing....what is it u am doing wrong than?

nopp did not. But its okey, is just the titles apps, games and my apps that is English all others in swedish so I'm happy.

You are not the only one, nothing happens with my market too!
Try clearing the dalvic cache and see if that helps, strange how it works for some and not for others.
great news I thought I was the only one....
Hopefully some one comes up with a solution.
My phone looks beautifully with 2.2 and x10users theme for it.
It goes very smooth with ADW EX and I have a great benchmark.
Very happy, but I really miss my paid market apps.
Now I have an illegal version of ADW because I can't access my purchased one.
Same for other programs, but I really don't want to search for the illegal ones because they all are in my market....which is unreachable at the moment...
It feels like seeing a cold beer at a sunny day but can't reach it

As you can see also the cache option is grey and unselectable.
The Market icon is in my apps list but clicking on it won't do anything at all.

I have GT-P6210 (or Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus) running Jelly Bean (Android ICS 4.1.2) and rooted.
Today after using the tab for doing basic stuff I couldn't return the entry mode back from swype to the Samsung standard, and the keyboard just vanished. I tryed to enter in the settings and solve the problem but everything seem to be just fine there. So I restarted the tablet and then my REAL BIG PROBLEM started: I can't log in because the keyboard doesn't appear on the screen and I can't type my password
I tried to restart million times and nothing, tried to enter safe mode to see wich options I had there but I do not intend to return to the factory setting.
Can anyone help me out?? What I have to do?? I know I'm a noob but I always read the stuff you, smart guys , post and I didn't find a solution for my problem on the forum... I heard about similar problems on HTC and relations to the "predictict next word" mode which should be off.

Factory Reset from recovery or if you have cwm try clearing cache/dalvik

Problem solved using external keyboard
I solved the problem using an external keyboard to log in and after that I enter in settings (XT9) and unchecked the option "predict next word"... Everything was back to normal after that :laugh:

Yes, that is why it say "themed" at the title..
I'ts working in SweetRom 10.5 LT9, this mod is based in the launcher that this rom has, only with autorotation disabled to prevent "rotated wakeups". Use Per app settings instead to get that feature.
Work's amazing.. I'll advice you to speed the homescreen scrolling a bit if possible.. and apps now open more faster and smoothly.. Thanks!!

Please, dont quote the whole post anymore. Did you fixed permissions? (RW-R-R)
It works in Ultimate Rom XXLSZ too so it would work nice in Stock Deodexed XXLSZ... you maybe missed some part because it worked for other people...

definitely followed the instruction for 100%, it is not реу first time for me to touch system/app folder so i am 100% sure. Anyway i finished up with full wipe and installed the ROM back again, since all data synced it takes not so much time. I tryed to replace the file back with stock but it didn't help, always did wipe cache and dalwik and checked permissions with the CWM file browser, tryed installing different launchers from CWM but still failed.
So please be extra careful!
will try once again when the SuperNexust 3.0 Buil2 comes out.

so im running pac rom 4.3 nightly build of october 7th and i have some issues with it
It gets very laggy when you press the Multi tasking/ recents button and theres a good lag before it opens up.
another problem is that i cant use the calling feature on an app called imo, when some one calls and i press accept everything freezes and keeps ringing. i tried looking at the thread and no one reported this problem so i dont know if its just me.

No, sorry I'm new to the xda fourm. It wouldn't let me post on the PAC ROM page so I didn't get a chance to talk to the dev or get a reply. For gapps, I flashed the one from cm10.2 link, already had it downloaded and it is for 4.3 ROMs so that. I clean flashed it, deleted all data. ( but restored apps that I used on cm10.2 through titanium backup) umm I don't think I fixed permissions :/

Omg, so I reinstalled the rom, factory reset and total format! Now its working perfectly fine so far! So is TB the problem? I had FIFA and NFS loaded can I install those with titanium backup? I don't install any system apps I know that!
But I've got a new problem battery
Won't let me post a screen shot but in 53 mins it went from 100 to 0 to charged again to 100%

Hey, I'm back Lol!
Okay so after nov-04th build I tried flashing 06 and 07 and each time I did, as soon as it was done configuring the apps, it says process.phone.. (Something like that) force closes and when you press okay to get rid of it, it keeps on doing it, like I couldn't get past my lock screen. Well I've had a backup for the ROM right before I flashed so I didn't lose my data Sorry I keep posting here, won't let me post on the ROM page cuz ima noon :/ haha

Can you access the recovery? ?
If yes, did you take a backup of your previous rom??..
If no.. I think you will have to flash a stock rom for your device.. make sure you have the tab around 60% charged..

you should see the keyboard's icon as an application
or
you can try to enable the keyboard from the settings
