Quadrant standard on Wingray says "Stingray" - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I just tried Quadrant on my MZ604, in the device informations, the CPU section says "hardware : stingray" ...
Does it say the same thing for all MZ604 Wingrays ?
Just wondering if my second hand Xoom is really a Wingray or a Stingray
Thanks

Wifi Xoom is wingray otherwise it's identical.

What do you mean ? What does Quadrant say in the CPU section about your Wingray : does it say "Hardware : Wingray" or "Hardware : Stingray" ?

It doesn't matter. They're the same device in almost every aspect except the wingray lacks 3g/4g.

That's why I am asking this question : I would be glad to flash a Stingray Rom to use 3G if my Xoom is a Stingray.
So again please, what does Quadrant say in the CPU section about your Wingray : does it say "Hardware : Wingray" or "Hardware : Stingray" ?

One last time.
MZ604 = Wingray. It Lacks 3G/4G.
Otherwise Wingray and Stingray are VIRTUALLY IDENTICAL hence quadrant showing it as a Stingray.

you don't understand my question, I know MZ604 does not have 3G !!!!
But I am wondering if mine is a MZ604 or a Stingray as Quadrant says mine is a Stingray. That's it !
But if you don't want to answer this simple question (What does quadrant say in the CPU section), please stop answering to this thread.

You're reading but not comprehending. MZ604 is Wingray. The models are virtually identical so Quadrant shows Stingray. I don't see how you could not understand this yet.

Defy Overclock 1GHz and 1,3GHz !!!

Hi !
For this only need ROOT in your Defy.
Is very simply !! :
Download This:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OGD9DFUG
and install it with the ASTRO (for example), once opened, you will be asked to burden it a module and once downloaded, how often you go up to 1000 with a voltage (Vse) of 74, which does not consume much comment as battery.
And Ready...
I do not and defyy tested yet because I get on Monday ...
Hi
Can you please tell a little bit more about what you give with this download link ?
What is the software ? (Sorry but I never download something without a little bit of details on the soft.)
We already have overlcocking solution for the defy (milestone O/C or Setvsel), what can we expect more with this ?
Edit: OK it seams that your talking about Milestoneoverclock
Sorry but you're a little bit late for the show
it is from a spanish android forum, and people says that this works great !
you don't worry
.. yes it work great. As you talking about milestoneoverclock.
You should know that "we" use this tool from 6 or 8 weeks for the Defy O/C
And we have an other tool named "Setvsel" wich is made for the defy.
You can found Setvsel on the Market and there's a thread on the forum section about it (the app is dev from and XDA user)
So: nothing really new in what you bring.
Edit:
A little help for you:

[Q] Any way to overclock the Infuse 4G?

I've searched the forums for the last 45 min - 1 hour) and have not found anything specific to overclocking the Infuse 4G. Please forgive me and kindly point me in the right direction if the information is in the forums as I have not found it.
I found an article on addictivetips.com (this forum won't let me post the link) that I followed but it bricked my phone.
AT&T Infuse 4G
rooted
CWM Recovery w/ voodoo lag fix 2.5.1.2 (I think)
Numas One ROM
You need a compatible kernel that supports overclocking, and then an app like voltage control or setcpu to do the overclocking itself.

Overclocking is a kernel mod. You probably flashed an incompatible kernel. If you are on numas ROM you will need infusion GB kernel. You can't run infusion froyo or a cm7 kernel. The kernel has to match the ROM.
Bewda's kernel also allows OC. And I personally No Frills CPU controller. Works fine.. Simple interface. Easier than voltage control to figure out. Not saying it doesn't work don't get me wrong, just easier to figure out. Stupid proof.
Edit: And seriously dude... READ! This question is answered ALL over the place. There has to be atleast 5 or 6 different threads in the Q&A section about OC'ing your device. Comon. READ... it's how we all learn and keep our devs happy so that we can keep getting updates. Just look at Jordian Elliots original MIUI thread...

thanks a lot dude , excuse me for my english , but i'm italian !
this is what i wanted to know , however we are sure that on the b90 it work ?
i hope that u understand my question
its not the b90 i would be concerned about as all models can be rooted and such its is the tf101g i would worry about
Looked on the Codename Android thread and it says
version 1.5.0.2 3G (Build is coming soon)
so you will have to wait if you have your heart set on that rom but almost all of the other roms are 3g compatable

see answer of mrevankyle, so you have to wait or see if one of the other roms will work for you. Is there a reason you would like the ROM Codename android?

You're welcome. I'm still running it myself, since the days they were still developing it. In my opinion, it's the best rom out there for the xoom. Runs steady as can be.
