Hi,
In Brazil the Samsung Galaxy S, has an APK and the hardware to watch TV (1SEG system).
I have an Samsung Galaxy SIII (SC-06D) from Japan, and there the TV digital system is 1SEG too.
here goes my question:
Have any way to install the mobile_tv.APK from SGSI on my SGSIII from japan?
Other info: I cas see the image from the channels in Brazil, but no sound. Googling on the web I had discovered the codec for the audio is similar, but in Brazil we use the version 2 and the Japan uses the version 1.
Tks!!

Hi,
my galaxy S was bought in Belgium and because the A holes at SABAM( music art copy right author rights ) there isn't a youtube app on the Samsung Galaxy S.
Now i've got android 2.2, it's been rooted but does anybody have the latest android youtube app for me? I've seen something about it being available on the market but havent found it ...
Stupid question but is this possible? I like how my tab separates my movies and camera videos but that doesn't happen on my Samsung S2. Of course I know my S2 is gingerbread and there are multiple apps out there that can separate but I was wondering if I can install the tab 7.0 player into my s2? if yea, does anybody have that apk file? I like to keep the stock player since i can lock it for my daughter.
not likely, try it, probablyy get error parsing package, 7.0 plus .apks are built for API 13 (honeycomb 3.2), you would have to decompile, change any software checks, most likely in manifest.xml (min sdk/api level, etc.)rebuild .apk for gingerbread api min.
even then not guaranteed to work 100% percent.
Hi
Ive got this danish tv app called "TV 2 Play".
It works on all newer Android phones and tablets and allso in landscape-mode.
Ufortunately it is'nt officiel available on Google TV.
Can this easily be modified and bed made as apk-install file ?

Hi there,
Anyone got the .apk for this with download ability? (released Sept 5th)
The version from Play Store for Note 10.1 & Note 2 dosn't enable downloads.
The version for eg Nexus 4, Tab 7, S3 has this ability.
I'm guessing this is filtered for at Play Store level. Or would it be filtered for at runtime on the device?
In which case has anyone come across a workaround?
TIA
I have this download ability on my nexus 7 (2013) (stock) but my note 2 doesn't (custom ROM).at the moment I've put out down to that as with the flixster app not running my UV copies of my owned films with a custom ROM. Be interested to hear if anybody on stock note 2 is running the download ability....
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
I think you will find it is being managed by the app rather than Play Store. The BBC has stated that other devices are coming (soon?).
Is it possible to trick iplayer into thinking it is on a supported device and therefore allow downloads? Otherwise, if the BBC whitelist only tested phones, the chances of it being available on device X is pretty small.
Reverse engineer the iplayer apk?
Guy's I was reading this https://www.androidpolice.com/2020/11/23/samsungs-free-tv-service-is-coming-to-more-galaxy-phones/
Then decided to go here and side load the apk on my galaxy tab a 2019 10.1 sm-t510.
and it works fine.
This is where the attached apk was downloaded from
