Hello Developers!
I work with Jrummy Apps Inc, the company and developer who brought you Rom Toolbox, Root Browser, Ultimate Backup, Busybox Installer, and many other root apps.
First, some background:
ROM Toolbox combines all the great root apps into one monster app with a beautiful and easy to use interface. ROM Toolbox has every tool you need to make your Android device fast and customized to your liking. ROM Toolbox has been featured on LifeHacker, XDA-Developers, Droid-Life, Android Central, RootzWiki, Android Police, DroidForums and other popular sites. ROM Toolbox has one of the highest ratings in the top 100 paid apps. Over 12,000 people gave it a full 5 star review! ★★★★★
ROM Toolbox combines apps like Titanium Backup, ROM Manager, Root Explorer, SetCPU, Ad Blocker, MetaMorph, Autorun Manager, Terminal Emulator, Script Manager, SD Booster, BuildProp Editor, Font Installer, Boot Animation Installer & many more apps into an all-in-one app!
The Revamped Rom Manager section now adds support for OTA updates!
Here’s where you come in:
We want your rom in our app. All roms will be *completely* free to download through our Rom Manager.
Why should you want to put your rom in our app?
Because your rom would be available to a much larger audience with more potential downloads and donations for you.
We want this to be as easy as possible for you.
To get the rom on ROM Toolbox, please do the following:
1) Fill out the file below with the roms/zips you want to have.
2) Save it in JSON format. I recommend using the free program called Notepad++ to modify and save json files.
3) Upload this file to your server. That way you can be in control of what ROMs show up at all times. Otherwise we can host it ourselves.
4) Send us the link to this file on your server.
5) Send us a summary of the ROM.
6) Send us the name of the ROM.
7) Send us the devices you support.

Note: you can add as many zips/roms as you want.. just add another section right under the "rom" entry. If you need any assistance filling this out feel free to ask and we can help you!
If you'd like to use addons, optional, flashable downloads with your rom, please let me know and I'd be happy to explain how to do it.
Ideally we would love for you to maintain your own download link. If this is not possible, please contact us and we'll do our best to help out.
ROM Toolbox is going through a major overhaul currently and has been completely rewritten. We want you to be a part of this!
Thanks!

In the changelog, it says goo.im support has been added, but I don't see my ROMs in there.
Developer account name: PonsAsinorem
Device: HTC Incredible (inc)
Edit: just thought about it. It requires the steps listed in the OP, and doesn't crawl through goo.im correct? Sorry, it's late here.
Edit edit: I'd love to be able to do this, but my computer broke so I can't get you the necessary files. Hopefully in a month or two when I'm back up and running.

Hey,
Yeah, it has goo support as in you can navigate into goo through the Rom Management tab, but it would not appear as other roms you see until the above method is done.
If your rom is already uploaded to a direct-download server, you can actually use Rom Toolbox's Root Browser to create the needed file, open it as text, paste the whole text in the code section into that file, modify it with the proper links, upload it, then get the link and send it to me through XDA or email [email protected] with it...
Hope this helps!

How will one install ROMs that need side installations, like m2sd, or addons?
thanks a lot

My apologies for the delay in responding.
Addons can be added to your rom listing. For example, if an addon is a 23 toggle mod zip, it would be added in the manifest and the result would be a dialog window that pops up after the download button is tapped, which states the name of the addon with a checkbox for the user to choose if they would like to download that as well or not.
Hope this helps!
Please tell all your dev friends about this opportunity!

I originally made this for the Droid but now that pete is making roms for the evo I decided to add updates for it. I do not own an evo but I had someone test the app with a custom update list file and he said it works so if you would like to report back making sure it works I would appreciate it.
Version 0.5.1 release: Enables experimental roms and themes to be displayed automatically for new users (although you still need to update the featured them servers). If you were having trouble viewing froyo themes either uninstall and reinstall with the newest version or go to your bbupdater (root of sd)>data and delete the files in it. and then follow the instructions in the .5 release to update the featured theme servers below
Version .5 release:
Themes tab actually functions now. To use the themes tab go to configuration>Theme Update Settings>Manage Theme Servers>
Press the Menu Button and press Update Featured Theme Servers and then go back to the theme tab and check for updates
Edit: Community Ported themes will be listed as experimental so you will have to set your settings accordingly to view them
EDIT: Froyo roms now have themes. They are listed as experimental so you will have to adjust your settings accordingly.
If you dont see a theme you like that you know works post a link to it and I will add it
I've taken the CM Updater source and edited it to work for Bugless Beast so that everyone can have an easy way to update. I know rom manager is out there which is an easy way too but as I learn more about how things work I'm going to incorporate more things into the app. And all of its free.
To be able to download the froyo releases you will have to go into configuration>rom update settings> Display Experimental Roms and Display all rom Updates
You will have to manually check for updates as of now until I figure out why its not checking on its own.
Screens:
So search: bb updater or scan the barcode below
If you would like to you can donate below. Im a college student so basically im poor and any amount of donation would help me buy an evo for better support.

Ok, so Netease caught on to everything, and put a stop to all of our shenanigans. None of this would be a problem if they just released an english version. I doubt that will happen anytime soon though.
~~~EDIT~~~
Fildo.net is probably the best alternative. They have a decent android app, and it uses the music from Netease, I believe. Check it out!
But I mean, in the event that you are a stubborn bastard and refuse to quite Netease, there might be a way to get around their block. The following was taken from a comment on page 15 by ItsJono. Good luck!
From what I understand, the NetEase translation development was forked into two different projects, the one here is for NON-ROOT people who do not have access to root/xposed installer. This uses a modified APK with modified files that NetEase has begun detection for tampering. The second version, is the one for ROOT/Xposed which i'm installing now. The Xposed version is better since it translates the file on the fly in memory versus having a pre-modified APK so that NetEase can update itself and not break translation.
Edit: Okay, the Xposed version of NetEase + Translation Xposed Module + English translation = Works again!
The link to follow is here: http://superdevs.weebly.com/netease-cloud-music.html
I didn't want to do this before because it looked confusing and hard, especially with so much of the information being in Spanish but it turned out to be quite easy. I'll give a quick overview of what I did to help those who want a clearer, native English description of how to do it. The first link was very helpful with it having been translated from Spanish, and while the English was good, it was clear it wasn't their first language and I want to help those who might be a little iffy as to what the process is:
[How to Install Xposed version of NetEase]
Q: Why install Xposed version of NetEase, versus the pre-translated APK located in this thread?
A: The pre-translated APK of NetEase offered by @omarchavez/XDA: omare.chavez is great for users who do NOT have root access on their device. However, it is prone to "breaking" from NetEase's hash check of APK from what my Android developer friend explains as a possibility. The Xposed version allows you to have the latest official NetEase APK installed without having to wait for an updated APK to show up. Xposed version also allows quick corrections in typos in the translation files, whereas it would require a rebuild of the translated APK, of which, the primary developers are Spanish and English translation is not their primary concern.
Q: I don't have root access, which version should I download?
A: The version you should download is the one offered by @omarchavez / XDA: omare.chavez. Download and install Telegram from Google Play Store and use your phone to visit this address: https://telegram.me/neteaseES , then subscribe to his channel so you can receive the latest developments and download the latest APK version of pre-translated NetEase.
-
Before Install: Have root access, and Xposed installed so you can install the Xposed module that translates the program, without breaking the functionality of NetEase
1.) Install AndroTraductor Xposed module, enable it in Xposed, reboot (?) /// Or follow instructions here: http://superdevs.weebly.com/androtraductor.html
2.) Install latest NetEase APK directly from NetEase, http://music.163.com/api/android/download/latest
3.) Download the translation files:
English - http://www.mediafire.com/download/c6...#91;b_1.0].zip
Spanish - https://mega.co.nz/#!GRlCVRID!vyQlET...smSTKzeDbQ5ncs
Spanish 2 - https://userscloud.com/8c66tzcqb8eh
...and then create a folder in your Android device's root directory named "dv_translate", and extract the contents of the translation zip file that you downloaded in your language so that the file structure looks like the images shown in the link.
http://superdevs.weebly.com/uploads/...62598_orig.png
Reboot device and load up NetEase, the app should have some text translated in your language that you downloaded. Images cannot be translated as they would require modification of the .APK contents and would fail the hash check when NetEase checks for modification.
[How to register for Weibo/NetEase account]
Q: Why should I register an account?
A: You can use NetEase as a Guest but miss out features by not having an account. Having an account allows you to have unlimited 320KB/s quality MP3 song downloads, save your favorite songs, create playlists, etc. I would definitely recommend it. It's also not very hard and is a very simple process.
-
1.) To register a NetEase account, go here: http://reg.163.com/reg/reg.jsp?product=music
2.) Use the follow image or Google translate to help you. http://superdevs.weebly.com/uploads/...png?1434101457
*Please note that the image here has a small mistake, the first red arrow on top where it says "Username" is supposed to be your email. I believe you'll be prompted later to choose a NetEase username handle.
3.)Log in NetEase using the information you put and enjoy!
[Credits]
Special thanks to the users OmarChavez / XDA: omare.chavez for making the translated APK and allow me to try NetEase, and nvincent for making this thread and giving this APK project visibility.
Is there a github or something where i can contribute?
I constantly get a notification to update the app. I read somewhere that I should not take the update because it will revert back to Chinese. Is this correct?
I recommend you to stay with this one as the translation is a lot better.
Right now, to FIX the update notification (might also be implemented by OP in the next version) you need a rooted device and a root browser app.
Goto data/data/com.netease.cloudmusic/shared_prefs/UpdateInfo.xml
I THINK the integer value versionCode is used for the update check (versionCode < serverVersion) - simply increase the value to a lot higher one, I used 99 - no update notification on startup.
With this, I didn't have a notification since 24h, I guess that's a fix for it.
EDIT: got an update notification after 48h.
Haha. I was going to say, wow, that is a clever way of fixing it. I'll relay this info over to the guy working on it and see what we can do. No promises though.
Just a quick update - we are waiting for a new version of apktool to be released that apparently should fix the problem we are running into. Once this is released, we'll hopefully be able to update it.
Here's a link to a modded version of 2.5.4.
The persistent update notification is removed, but the language is still native.
Antivirus programs are stupid. I guess CM security doesn't like the permissions that the app requires, but personally I don't think this contains a trojan, it's a really huge company in China.
(Allthough you can never be sure, in the past, there were several reports of highly popular smartphones on the chinese market that contained maleware by default)
I don't understand these zips because I thought you would have to be on android 12 api to have them work. I havent tried it yet but ive tried them in the past and it always fails. So I don't see how it can work. Maybe an explanation could help.
She probably wont tell you because on XDA whenever someone figures something out they think it makes them special or more knowledgeable and they ignore people asking.
I however don't do that. The way it works is you have to extract the apks into a select folder and than you have to have root access to put them in your system folder that already has the clock apk for example. But heres the trick no one will tell you that makes the difference. You have to sign the apk and you do with apk signer pro on the playstore for a 1 or 2 dollars or theres other ways. Than you want to keep backups of the apk and remove it out of the system folder and replace it with the new apk with the same name and 644 permissions. I did it with the clock app to test it and it worked. Its takes forever and there really isnt nothing new so its pointless in some sense. However thats how you do it. What I gave was an explanation youll notice that on a website designed for people who want to do more with their phones you see short answers without any explanation at all and the truth is because they dont want to tell anyone. They say I dont spoon feed noobs. Cant ask for ETAs because the truth is they dont know if they can figure out how to update it or fix anything. Good luck
The biggest feature is no ads with the apps however if your rooted with AdAway you shouldn't have any ads because Ive never had a an ad in the weather app. Think of this way when you ask their thinking hahaha I know something you dont know lol. Than when you figure it out youll be resentful and bitter so youll do the same thing to anyone that ask you because you'll say to yourself no one ever helped me out so they can figure out themselves and of course hahaha I know something you dont know lol. This has to stop
She probably wont tell you because on XDA whenever someone figures something out they think it makes them special or more knowledgeable and they ignore people asking.
