hi all, im looking for a skin/theme or something for the htc hd2 that will mate will the slider/clock/calender/topbar/bottom bar Transparent so i can see my wallpaper better is this at all possible
p.s. on another note id also like a good looking top bar with colored icons like sound/ battery/start icon....

I installed Max Manila 2.519202525 - Ultimate v2.5. So i have 20 shortcuts on home screen. After that I installed Max Theme Maker 4.1. And download a lot of components from the ultimate 2.5 thread. These components I put in Max Theme Maker 4.1 and then I can choose what I want. Your wishes could also can set with this

Presently I am using Mr. Twolf's 3d rotational clock in my home. For nice background look, weather area disturbs. I like my home to be look like fully transparent. ( clock, weather, slide bar).

1. At first disable TouchFlo in Settings/Today.
2. Then copy the 3 png's included in my zip
to Windows folder and overwrite existing files.
3. Restart your device and enable TouchFlo again.

Overwrite? Surely, backing the original images up first would be a smart bit of advice to add

i don't know why looks like Yours? normally there should
be no glossy background.
all png's are empty pictures.
Good remark.....standard weather widget is a bit transparent.....but not as much as on pictures imo....

Anyway Now I changed my theme, which is designed by Mr. Antonda.
Also I have used Mr. Johan's black theme. I have attached my screenshot here.

Theme looks great and indeed for overwriting files in windows folder use total commander.......

TouchFlo (Manilla) transparent program slide bar
Hi Guys,
Can you help me with a solution to make my MEGA bottom bar and slide transparent ?
I modified hh_fw_tab_bg_fill.png and hh_fw_tabbtn.png to be transparent, but the result on MEGA is a black :-(
I've tried Transparant Bottom Bar.cab, same result.
I've tried NoCurtains.cab, no changes.

Hello, think I went the same route as you...tried them all but no succes.....since most solutions described are for other devices....there is a very nice tool for the HD2.....it let's you do exactly what we want ......but can not be applied to QVGA result is you will hard reset your device....

So my answer would be: not possible at the moment.....I also looked at other HTC forums btw......
Oh forgot to tell you...I managed to get the slider transparent...but that does not look nice in relation with the slider bar because the icons are not on the same height.....

Reading through this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=575723 saw that there are themes which do not have a transparent slider bar but people skinned their bar exactly as to the corresponding background of the theme so it looks transparent......
Don't know how to do that......but you can give it a try.....

this works great for the hometab. but wehen you slide to another tab the background of the slider slides also. if your wallpaper is unicolor is this area this is a solution for you.

The problem is if I change the wallpaper... However, I will keep searching
Indeed....I also wanted a transparent slider bar but having read everything think I abstain from it. Unless there comes a genius who can make a tool like that of the HD2......
btw if you see what "they" have in customizations......

Ilegal....with this new tool you can easily makes changes but has to be done after every wallpaper change indeed. Also when the theme is not "evenly" coloured you see that in other tabs...

yes. 1st home page only transparent. Also for each wallpaper we have to reset the phone. Other pages not transparent.

Hello everybody
I often read that everybody want to have a personal taskbar and softkeybar.
Now i found a easy way to make this.
1.
At the first step you look for a wallpaper what you want to have and open it in Photoshop or another programm you like to work with.
2.
In second step you create your own taskbar and softkeybar like this in the attached picture.
3.
Now put the taskbar and softkeybar over the wallpaper you want and save it as .PNG or .JPG.
4.
Now create a wallpaper cab with HDwall with transperent top and bottom bar and install your wallpaper at your device.
Thats all.

With this program you can create Wallpaper.cabs This cabs can you install to your device as an HQ Wallpaper.
1. You can create wallpapers that show your normal task and bottombar
2. or you can create wallpapers that fill the complete screen(called transperent wallpapers).
For transperent wallpapers push in HDwall Config--->advanced profile editor---->and check the option WM 6.5 Taskbar and Softkeybar Skinning.
YOU NEED TO INSTALL THE HQ WALLPAPER PATCH AND COOKIES HOME TAB!

What is it that you're after? Do you want the icons shown in the screenshots?
If so, those are the Anastasia icons, created by Dinik....
If you mean you want the "Google search" bar at top, I think you can't have any, because it's a screenshot of Android... (and that bar is build into Android).
Maybe in the future we'll have such sort of search bar on our home tab, if someone creates a widget for it to be used in CHT 2.0
