I get this notification no matter what method I use to charge my phone.
I've tried multiple chargers/cables nothing seems to work.
Has anyone else encountered this?

I was taking the infuse for a 30 day test drive but experienced a disabled brightness to prevent overheating. Has anyone else experienced this??
I really like the phone but this is my second exchange in 2 days.

I think that's a normal message. I've received it several times.

I will leave the brightness at 100% for a week.. Interesting
Today I was out using my nav app and things seemed really laggy. Without thinking about it I held power button in until phone powered down, at the time I had about 60% and when phone came back on I had 11%? I powered down by way of the reboot menu 4 more time and every time I would get a little bit more until it just stopped at 39%. Has anyone else had this problem?
P.S phone seems to be ok after full charge.
Have you tried running the battery calibration app from the market place?

Battery calibration app does nothing to our phones. Ask entropy he's explained it before. Also I have had that as well, but it will come back slowly, but should still be charged again

Would this happened if I were on stock?

Hard to tell it could just be a power management fail

well I let it get down to about 5% then gave it a full charge, and its working great now. funny how a battery pull and many restarts would not fix the problem.
Battery calibration does nothing on our phones.

So my phone says it has 20%, plug it in and it immediately shows 60%. When it gets to 100%, as soon as I unplug, it shows 70%. Anyone else seen this?

Is there any easy/simple way to check if the battery in a dead P6800 is the bad component (as against a broken hardware issue)
Thanks

Please explain your exact symptoms (sound like a doctor) and full troubleshooting method so far.

Unit won't power up, nor respond with battery icon when charger plugged in.
Given the symptoms tough to do anything else.

It's not the cable as I have a few tabs and docks and everything else charges fine.
But that doesn't tell me if it's a battery issue or a failed hardware component as asked in the original question.

He was just getting you to rule out what could have been a simple cause and hopefully a solution. Unfortunately it turned out not...
Unless you're prepared to dabble in some electronics and pull you tab apart, will just be guesswork.
This user here has provided some useful information, including various pin-outs and wiring schematics etc.

Might be of help for a "do-it-yourself" diagnostics and repair. Else, send it to a service centre.

Does anybody else have an MB865 that doesn't light up it's notification LED when it's charging? Other than turning the screen on, I can't tell if it's charging.
I don't know anyone else who has one, so I don't know if it's me, or if there all like that.
Any way to fix it?
