Im bricked please help me!!!

I was replacing the stock recovery file with Krylon's Modded Recovery Binary.
I deleted the stock recovery file in /system/bin (copyed it to external sd) after pasteing the Modded Recovery Binary in /system/bin.
I had the CWM 3 file already copied to my external sd card
I turned off my phone to reboot it and the phone is now stuck on the black screen with the white Samsung Galaxy S 4g logo. All my soft keys are lit up too.
Is my phone bricked? How do i get into download mode? What can i do to fix this?
Im Very noob and going to have a "pro" fix if it can be.
Im a blue collar worker and dont work at a pc. Im traveling to work and wont be able to reply in real time but PLEASE leave comments. I will be checking in when i can...
I paid $500 for my phone so THANK YOU ALL VERY VERY MUCH.
I cant believe i screwed something so simple up. I should of asked for help BEFORE I was in trouble.

Hold both volume keys and then plug the usb from the computer to your phone to access download mode. If it doesn't work u can buy a unbrick jig from ebay. If you get into download mode using volume keys then flash back to stock. Phone should be turned off if trying to put into download mode

You have a soft brick. This should be fixable getting into DOWNLOAD MODE and using ODIN. Do a few searches for both. A JIG may be necessary to obtain download mode as well. Search all topics I have listed in all CAPS and you should be good to go! PM me if you have any questions...

same thing happened to me, all I did was I downloaded whitehawkx KD1 kernel which is perfect because your phone will already be rooted and has the file so you could put CWM3, after you download it get into download mode and flash with odin, if you need any more help please let me know

Thanks for the good news. I feel much better knowing what needs to be done. I will search your topics. I have been reading everything I can on this subject. I probably should have done that before I made this post. It's my first brick and I was desperate for info.
I'm going to try to fix it after 2pm (with help)...I'm in work and its the longest day of my life today. Lol.

I'm going to do exactly what you suggest. I only had rooted stock so if I fix this with whitehawkx I'll have a better phone.

I am back! UNBRICKED! Thank you Odin! My phone is back to stock, rooted, bloat free and fota fixed. I was so happy to get it back the way I had it before tinkering with it I decided to wait to flash whitehawkx deo'd with odin... I want to do it through CWM 3.

How did you get yours fixed? I can't even boot I don't get a boot screen or anything. please help T Mobile sucks when it comes to repair.

I'm very noob but there are people who will help you on here for sure.
I had a "soft brick". Phone stuck on Samsung galaxy s 4g splash screen with my soft keys lit up too. I searched and read in this forum. I went to our 4g development section and found a post called Noobs guide to Odin.
From that post I downloaded the samsung drivers I needed for the pc I was using (32 bit in my case), downloaded Odin 1.7 and then downloaded krylon360 stock/root rom.
I ran Odin, got my phone into download mode and then flashed the rom with no problems.
I'm new and in work so can't be too much help. Everything you need to know has been talked about on our forum. People will help you. Good luck!...
Maybe you should post your own topic in this GENERAL section to let people know you are bricked. Put I'm bricked in the subject line. A fresh topic might get peoples attention faster. Like I said I'm new.

what did you do to brick it? we need some details to help you out. are you able to get into download mode?

I need help rebooting my bootlooped phone.

The phone I have is bootlooped Android Motorola Milestone (1) .
After I rooted it with " z4root ", I downloaded this app about Wifi Tethering, I tried it out, but then it said something like, "Are you sure your phone is rooted?"
And it also told me to try to reboot the phone, so I did, after like the 3rd time rebooting because it said the same thing, I attempted to turn it on after turning it off. It turned on but it stays stuck on the Motorola logo every time now.
I looked up on the web how to fix a bootlooped phone but none of them actually worked.
Sooooo, i'm hoping somebody can enlighten me about how to fix it because i can't afford another phone lol.

What about restoring your phone from the recovery? Have you done a backup recently? Usually I have this problem when I flash a kernel in contrast with my OS.. maybe the solution is simply: flash another OS if you don't have a backup

If its stuck on the Motorola screen then it sounds soft bricked which Odin should fix. But if its showing the ROM boot screen its probably just a bad flash which you could fix by flashing again or starting over and flashing twice

but yeah it stays on the motorola screen when you start it up, the initial start screens are, Motorola logo and android logo, then it goes to the home screen . But when you start it, it just stays on the motorola logo. D:

It sounds like its just soft bricked. Is there a thread for this device if so Odin or heimdall will fix it depending on whether you have a Mac or pc

[Q] i'm in a Ultimate pain (Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE)

I F****** up..
i played with rooting and flashing before i found these forums with guides and stuff.
and now my samsung galaxy have no mobile network, no imei number and freezes when i activate bluetooth..
it was also bricked (logo loop) but i fixed that.
i have flashed stock firmware in it and it works fine beside the 3 problems above.

neither did work since i cant usb connect i've tryed every option to get my pc to usb detect my mobile.

Oops, I didn't realize he was using a S3.
Which S3 are you using? If so then find the right forum for that phone for that carrier.

Start by finding the right forum for your phone. If you have theS3 go there not here.

[Q] Emergency recovery screen!!! Help!!

is there any way i can get my infuse to work again its stuck at this screen with a phone and pc with lines pointing to a caution sign, it dont power on it goes strait to that no matter what i do and kies wont detect that its plugged in either, what happed is i upgraded to GB using kies and a few hours later it started turning off all the time and kept doing other things like reading the sd card over and over so i thought i would try and redo it again using odin and root package and my phone is now stuck in limbo please let me know if you have encountered this before as now im forced back to my old iphone 3g please help me?!!

Hi everyone I have Samsung galaxy mini,before a month I tried to flash a new rom,while flashing display turned off and did not turned on till today.but pc can detect my phone.eventhough can't see ant thing in display,black screen only appears.Odin also detecting but not flashing help me plssssssssssssss:banghead:

does it boots in download mode?
