Sense does because of the custom kernels available
Well both have custom kernels. For example ultimate fusion is on sense and aosp

Sense based ROMs seem to have a lot more applications running in the background.
And if you're using the boot.img Mikeyinid made for aosp you can under volt the hell out of it and squeeze quite a bit of battery out of this thing.
Since zarboz is done maintaining his aosp kernel and klinn is out too that's the only one left floating around out there.

Kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=965208
ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=918639
Haven't tried the camera, but the GPS is great. My only complaint about CM7 has been the battery life. Not sure if it's something on my end or that's just how it is.

Any CM Rom that comes out is great, but ultimately for battery life its bottom tier unfortunately.
Id suggest a different Rom if you are not in or around chargers be it usb or wall.
I've seen miracles happen with CM though, a custom rom based on it one day will revolutionize the Inspire 4G section of XDA.

I am using attn1s vfr003 dhd rom

I'm using attn1 003 and my god doesn't work as far as navigation anymore. It has me on the wrong street all the time and is totally useless. I used the gps when it was.stock and it was flawless.
Battery life is about 25% better now compared to stock and the camera is about the same. Seems is you have the slightest shake in your hands while you snap a pic it comes out blurry.

Hi,
Have you tried ARHD and use the non-sense script?
The very best non sense ROM I've ever ran is aokp eye candy. I'm running it now. It is so different and fabulous! So much customization! I love it! It truly lives up to its name! I can't say enough about it! I fell in love with aokp! I highly recommend it! Its really different! A totally different experience!
I don't miss sense at all. It has extras like ROM control. You can set your cpu and other things. Its really nice. Only thing I didn't like was the keyboard so I changed it to a swipe keyboard from playstore, problem solved. You really should give it a try. Its awesome!

CleanROM for sure. It is probably the best Sense based ROM I've flashed on any phone. The dev is absolutely great at what he does and is incredibly active and responsive to people's questions/suggestions/request. Dude made me fall in love with my phone.
I can only find it for sense roms.If anyone know the download link for the aosp version could you please list it. Thanks!!!

Woops I was wrong about faux and Aosp I forgot that he made one the latest version is here http://rootzwiki.com/topic/4570-ope...rue-dual-corepower-savingsapr-22/#entry621010 just that I have never used the kernel I usually use tam core or bricked for aosp.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda app-developers app
Do bricked and tamacore kernels gives your better battery life or performance?
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G with Beats Audio using xda app-developers app
Could you recommend a bricked and tamacore kernel for battery life and also a bricked and tamacore kernel for performance. Thank you for your time...

I would say use both and see what's best for you but for settings, badass for battery and on demand for performance.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda app-developers app
Hi , give them both a try and see what you like the best. I've not had great luck on battery with faux but that don't mean you won't. It's always best to see what works for you. There are so many different variables between users that it's best to see what you like. For me my focus is battery life and I've seemed to have better luck with bricked for that but others might disagree. You see it is how you feel about it and the results you personally have gotten and your own goal weather It's battery or performance It's always best to decide these things for yourself. I wish you the best and hope you find the kernel that suits your needs. Sometimes it takes experimenting with different ones to find what works best for you. Best wishes!
Tamcore for me was a battery drainer but that doesn't mean you won't love it so experiment, experiment , experiment! See what YOU like the best..

Before I installed this Rom, I was getting 6k- 7kish results on antutu, but now I'm getting over 12000! I mean it IS like a 100% faster than any ICS sense Rom but is it THAT much of a difference?
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
Yes, we're all seeing that happen.
Nice huh
WR
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
I was getting 10-11k on 4.0.4 and over 12k on 4.1.1 Not a huge jump, but nice
Adding to that my battery life tripled!
