Don´t get the sense of your question.
Anyways, working siyah/dorimanx kernel with CM10 (1st ROM) and testing other ROMs as secondary on my i9100 made me kind of addict. Fast, stable, many tweaks and battery (OEM expandable) lasts about 3-4 days. I´d love to have that kombination on the P6200. Hope that´s enough reasons.

U know, with custom kernal, we can use it on stock rom if its based on stock kernal..n what advantage for custom kernal? mybe we can oc, get extra governor, more tweaks..its important for those who love to stick with stock rom..

I even underclocked my i9100 to 800MHz dualcore and undervolted it, don´t need top performance but stability, battery durance and a crisp display.

U ask what custom kernal can do...then i giv an answer..for ur information, i also dont need OC lolz....what i need is governor and tweaks...with extra governor, i dont need to underclock to get less battery drain..

You don;t seem to know what the heck you are doing, Kernels are version specific. HC , ICS, JB,
one doesn't work with the other. And CM10 for example doesn't support some of the Samsung hardware such as IR blaster.

Might be it seems to YOU (no flaming using big letters, just no underlining) that I don't know what I am doing, but instead of supposing me beeing a totally noob it would have been more nice of you to ask my point of knowledge
Thank's for your explanation about kernels and ROMs, but I already knew that. It would be a great pleasure if some developers would take some time improving our device and bringing the benefits of e.g. dualbooting, cpu/voltage tweaking kernel-wise and JB ROM-wise to it. Even if the P6200 is not the most modern 7" tablet on the market it deserves to take a closer look on. Especially because the hardware is similar to the i9100 and the SII is still being improved daily. Don't you think?
A dev called garyd9 made a custom kernel for the 6210 variant back on the hc days.
I think the aorth's ports of cm9/10 run with customs kernels.
But dude, you cannot blame the guys for the critics. Your OP was a little vague.

You dont need ovelclock kernel, all you have to use is tegrak overclock from market, use it on stock rom and kernel but you need to be rooted

Also remember when you use do go above 1.6 ghz or else your note will started hanging and rebooting or cause issues
Ok I will not go over 1.6 ghz.

Yes, I'm assuming you updated your rom to Jellybean, 4.0.4 to 4.1.1/2....
Don't flash a kernel from ICS onto a Jellybean rom as it won't work... That means an older kernel version to the latest rom is incompatible...
Heyy...i flashed my xperia pro(MT11a_4..1.B.0.431_kernel.ftf) and now its now not getting switched on...!!! please help me out...!!!
You only flashed the kernel.... you have to flash the full ROM...

You need to download the full .ftf file, not just the kernel. Now you have a kernel but no rom to boot into, so it won't boot. (though it should show the kernel bootup)

Sorry for my rude for first post asking, :crying: but i am a NOOOB my father just gave me this tipo dual and i know it's a low spec smartphone i just wonder how to make it faster and better to run heavy games like Aralon, Dark knight rises, amazing spider man etc. What i have done is rooted it and gave set cpu for overclocking.
there are some roms for tipo dual in the development section. you go ceck which one suits you.
and for over clocking you need a custom kernel but there isn't a stable one available yet.
im not sure but i think that if you install a custom rom to you tipo dual only one SIM will work...dual phones are not supported...

a kernel that supports over clock is needed i.e a custom kernel and not the sony one.
there is a kernel called vengeance in the original dev section. but i guess over clocking is not supported yet.
I'd love to know which ROM / Kernel supports the Tipo Dual.
I haven't found a single custom ROM (without issues) for the Tipo Dual unfortunately.
Any help in the right direction will be appreciated, thanks.

i've found one... it's gamexpro ui.... for gaming tipo, added adrenaline engone and many features. some Bloatware removed, acid soundmod. The only prob is, at first it doesn't hav any keyboardm so we hav to install it. And supersu didn't work... but after u install superuser and run supersu to install su binary it works :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

Dont use cm10 if u wanna have better camera exp. Stock camera is lot better than cm10 camera.
Just search stock based rom in AD section. Try one by one what suit ur needs instead asking question.

You can create modified stock first :/ i dont know abiut custom rom. You can use dsixda kitchen and UOT etc to customize stock to create a modded stock.

Somebody must start open source project for your device.
Go to samsung open source release page and find sources for your device. Then adapt it to build open source rom ( i suggest cyanogen ) and then start debugging

did you follow the instructions? What Device Version are you porting to? GT 7275R/B/T or Just the GT-7275?
There's is not much difference apart from the GPU is a Broadcomm/Quallcom on the GT-7275 and it only has a cortex a9. where as the LTE has a 1.2 krait CPU Andreo 305 GPU, and a snapdragon 400 chipset

Don't we need a fully working Custom Recovery for all Varients of the device first? I tried asking a few ACE 2 Devs but none of them got back in touch, I even offered to pay for their time and by them a beer on top :L went all that way, even made a paypal to do so.
