FAQ
Q. How do I install this ROM?
A. First of all, download it from above for your device. There's three models of this Tablet, the GT-P6210 /1 (WiFi), GT-P6200 /1 (GSM), and SGH-T869 (T-Mobile). Click the download for your device and download the ROM.
After Downloading, Move the ZIP folder on to your Tablet's Internal or SD Card Storage by connecting it to the computer. Now Power OFF your tablet. Next, Hold down the Power and Volume UP keys at the same time (Whilst it off), then once it turns on RELEASE your finger off of the Power Key, Only holding down the Volume UP Key now. Once in the Recovery, (Optional: Make a Backup) Clear your Dalvik Cache (Under Advanced), Cache, and Data. Now Install the ZIP folder from your SD Card (It should Says Elements HD Build xxx).
Summed Up:
1. Download ROM (For your device)
2. Transfer to Device
3. Reboot Recovery
4. Wipe Dalvik & Regular Cache, then Data
5. Install ROM
Q. Why won't my Tablet boot?
A. Something probably went wrong while installing the ROM. Just Reflash (Install again) it in the recovery WITHOUT wiping this time.
1. Power off (It SHOULD bootloop or get stuck)
2. Reboot Recovery (Power + Vol Up, then once on Vol Up [While OFF])
3. (DO NOT WIPE) Flash Elements HD Build 3
4. Reboot (DO NOT WIPE)
Q. Why did you keep the Boot Sound?
A. To make sure the Tablet is at least heading in the right direction and not bootlooping a blackscreen. I'll probably remove it later though.
Q. Why does the Tablet Settings -> About Device say Build 1 when I'm on Build 2?
A. I forgot to change the number. No biggie. If you have the extra apps I included, then everything's fine.
Q. Why did you keep the bloat?
A. Because some people use it. I'll put it in the Data Folder next build though so you can uninstall it.
Q. When's the next update?
A. Never. Just kidding. However, if you ask me despite me saying in several places not to, I won't be kidding.
Q. I want xxx Feature added! Can do you do it?
A. Post here and ask.
Q. I LOVE this ROM. What can I do to help out and make better builds come?
A. 1. Hit the thanks button 2. Donate 3. Share with fellow Tab users
Q. :'( Why isn't my device supported?
A. Probably because I haven't gotten a System Dump and Boot.img for it. See Post 7. to have your device supported.

great!more rom coming!
welcome mate..!
wow..owning this tab7+ really feel like live in a small outcast forgotten village and community..
everyday like waiting for someone appears and bring something new..everybody got excited..:highfive:
then everything went silent again...
looking around...feelin lonely....
haha..what a great experience! :good:

If you want support for your Tablet, please PM me a System Dump of your latest STOCK ICS.
An easy way to do this is to download a Root File Manager, go to the Root, Select the system Folder and COPY it, and then PASTE it on your SDCARD.
This CAN take awhile, so please be patient and Make sure your screen doesn't time out. Keep it on during the pasting / file transfer. A good way to do so is to edit the timeout to 10 minutes.
After it's on your SD Card, put it on your computer
I also need a Boot.img however. Getting that's easy too though!
1. Go into Recovery Mode
2. Make a Backup
3. On the computer, browse your Tab's storage and in the ClockworkMod Folder go to backups (then the name of the backup you just did), and copy the Boot.img to the desktop. (Then put it in the same folder as the System dump you did)
Make a new folder (just call it dump or something), Throw the System folder you copied in it along with the boot.img you just got.
Zip the folder up, Upload it somewhere, and PM me the Download Link.
----
Method 2:
Find a Stock ICS ROM (w/ Boot.img) and PM me the thread or Download LInk. (If it doesn't have one and it's the same ICS you're running, just give me your boot.img).
--------
Sorry for making it a big task, but I don't have the Device and this is the easiest way I can direct you guys to do something that you'll all (Hopefully) understand on how to do .

Don't download it then.
It says clearly in the OP it's based off of Stock ICS. You should know what that looks like.
I'm not trying to win anyone over from what they have. I just thought it'd be nice to create a stock based ROM for you guys on my own time since no one else has. I didn't know a community with barely any other devs would be so picky...

Literally as soon as I get a System Dump + Boot.img I'll begin support on the GT-P6200. Still waiting on someone to follow my suggested Noob Friendly guide on post 7 .

edit: ahh. sorry, the one from sammobile is a boot.bin, not boot.img. i can upload you my /system dump if you need them, but you'll have to find the boot.img from somewhere else.

KNOWN ISSUES / NOTES
- First Boot Installer sometimes fails to complete (usually completes on reboot)
On first boot, unlock the screen and let it sit until
you see all the media scanning notifications stop -
this is because on first boot, there will be some
app installing going on for the apps included, will take about a minute.
If you're coming from a clean install, you will have to set
Swype as your text input in Settings > Locale and Text Settings to start using it.
File system (BML/MTD) SleeperROM will retain your existing EXT4 or YAFFS2(MTD) partition configuration,
but will convert RFS to EXT4 (journaled).
It will otherwise not do any conversion.

Thanks, good to see other roms supporting FC09 and Classic Touch Wiz. Two quick question no wipe means I can install over existing rom or I can do a full format just to be on safe side? Will this install over cleanGB BML cause I want to move to FC09 to get stupid update killed permanent?
=)

In Theory, no-wipe means you can just install over another ROM, but in practice, be sure to back up first. It's ALWAYS best to start clean and do a full format even though it's annoying... but as far as i go, this update was my perfect excuse to start fresh.
CleanGB and SleeperROM had similar modifications so it should be safe... couldn't hurt to try, and if it doesn't work, clean install.
Good to have you back again .... for awhile there I was afraid some Aggies snuck into Austin and kidnapped you ....... LOL
I thought the Zombie apocalypse had started there...whew... a relief to have you back Sensei!

Thanks for this!!
so i installed the full release over the peoples rom. obviously not a good thing to do but i just wanted to test it without having to restore 70+ apps. swype was fcing and google talk had no video. I managed to get those working although swype has no feedback on the keyboard, not sure if it should or not.
does this come with gtalk with video normally or is that something i would have to add?
at any rate, it doesn't seem to be locking up and i could have angry birds space open and browse the web which was impossible on people's rom.
i notice it seems to take a while to deep sleep though, have to test it more tomorrow and probably do a clean install tomorrow. something about cm_vnote or something like that seems to be doing the wakelock fairly often.
the most major thing i noticed was that gps status will only say its locked onto 2 satellites, no more than 2. its obviously locking onto more though because the error is at like 3 meters and i believe it won't show location on less than 3 satellites. is that just an error with the display on the rom?
Try the gps_fix.

Other Info
All in all, this ROM is Cyanogenmod 10.1 with a few graphic changes. It also includes various extra features that have been cherry picked from multiple sources. In addition this ROM is compiled without the use of cchache and only full clean builds are released. This means that it will take longer for me to compile, however it will result in a reduced chance of bugs and maybe even an increase in performance.

Fixes & Add-On's
Restore Stock Font - removes the preinstalled custom font, and replaces it with the Jellybean's default Roboto font.
Restore Stock Lockring - removes the chromium logo lockring, and replaces it with the stock lockring.
Fix Tearing (Build 10 ONLY) - fixes graphical tearing issues found in build 10. It is no longer needed to use the "Disable HW overlays" option.
Disable Button Backlight - disables the backlight on the desires hardware buttons.
White Softkeys - Replaces the holo blue softkeys with white ones
More Stuff & FAQ
How do I disable Navigation Bar?
Settings > Chromium ROM settings > Button Height > 0dp (off)
Im getting graphical issues & tearing throughout some apps in build 10. How do I fix this?
First go to Settings > About phone > Tap on Build number 7 times. That will enable the Developer options menu. Go into it and enable "Disable HW overlays".
This should solve all of these issues, but keep in mind that this option does not stick after a reboot. Therefore you will need to re-enable it upon each boot.
**There is now a fix for this - Download and flash it from the Fixes & Add-On's section above**
Recommended Settings for Performance:
First go to Settings > About phone > Tap on Build number 7 times. That will enable the Performance menu. Then go into it and choose these:
Processor:
CPU Governor - Performance
Min CPU Freq. - 460MHz
Max CPU Freq - 1113MHz
I/O scheduler:
I/O scheduler - CFQ
Memory management:
zRam - 26%
Allow purging of assets - Enabled
KSM - Enabled
Also install Nova launcher, as Trebuchet (the stock launcher) seems to be a bit laggy.
Here are some screenshots of the battery life im getting after a day of heavy usage:
Almost 4 hours of screen on time...Keep in mind that i still have another 20% battery left in the screenshots.
could you please make it compatible for Data++ hboot.?? i.e 180 system
coz have to use int2ext (1gb ..sd-ext) as 100mb (data) is required for each 500mb sd-ext :/

I could try, but I don't think I can make it that small. I've already removed a lot from.it.
Why not just use a2sd?...it works fine
Nice man!
Try it this afternoon

wifi works fine for me. Try asking in the q&a section
also i completely forgot to add a gapps download...i was too focused on getting the rom to boot. So does anyone have a gapps package that works well with this? Let me know and I'll add it to the OP. One more thing, has anyone tested jelly hboot? Should work fine, just wondering
Giving me status 7 error upon flashing. Could be because of my data partition, it's full of bad blocks, I used jelly hboot.
Great ROM ! Fast & Stable since yesterday. No soft reboot and Wifi work great.
But how to disable the soft nav ?
Have a nice day !

Thanks. To disable the navbar:
-navigate to /system
-open build.prop
-look for this line and remove it:
Code:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Then reboot
It is possible to add this style of Navbar to other CM10.1 based ROMS?

Re: [ROM]<--CHROMIUM ROM v1.0-->[JB 4.2.2][CM10.1]
You could copy the systemui.apk into another ROM, but its possible that it won't work.
Or you could just download the soft keys that you want and manually put them into your ROMs systemui yourself...that's guaranteed to work.

This is a TW rom themed to look AOSP, it is not a pure AOSP rom. TW roms do not have this issue.

Will be a build.prop issue then if this is effecting everyone. I'll have a new build up tonight. Should fix everything. Sorry for inconvenience caused. But this is development and stuff like this does happen. The good news is my ROM is stable and once its ported it will be here to stay. For now can someone +3 this? Just to make sure

+3 same issue in CWM
It's happening to me too on TWRP. I even pulled a stock build.prop and tried to reflash and it still failed.
Perhaps this requires a Verizon kernel. Hero wrote the porting guide and there was no mention that a kernel swap was needed. Can anyone who is familiar with porting confirm?

Verizon, T-Mobile and at&t all pretty much use the same kernel. Try lean kernel or faux... I just finished a port of jelly 'beans' and those worked best.
I used his porting guide as well. Only one that will make it easy and remove all issues.

same as cm10.1, which is stable:good:
I must say, with all the tweaks and customizations that seem specific for our hardware, or at least performed with our device in mind, I'm definitely interested in giving this ROM a shot as new DD to replace SilverL's unofficial 4.2.2 I've been using since July.
Did a test install and everything seemed to be working real good. Not a huge fan of the terminal-ly looking font (from sense I guess) but I'm sure that's probably configurable somewhere that I haven't bothered to look yet, or in one of the 2 included super customizers.
I'll post up my thoughts if I do go DD with this but in the meantime, I'd love to hear opinions from anyone else that's installed and used so far. Might be my new fav 4.2.2 rom until a fully usable 4.3 (in my head at least) comes out.
Before switching from emmanuels 4.3 version to this i have to ask:
- is the keyboard popup lag fixed when using the hw keyboard?
- if you will update this anytimes...are you considering implementing halos? (Sorry if i may sound demanding...i am not...just curious )
- thanks for the build and all the hard work in advance

Lack of attention? We're a smaller community then a lot of other devices so 10 OP likes in the first week is decent. Don't get discouraged over it

Maybe it was the fact I didn't do a full absolute clean slate wipe before flashing (way too busy to reinstall all my apps and settings manually and I don't trust auto-backup apps) but there was an issue with Media closing on its own when I tried opening camera, and took an act of congress to get it to let me out of the f/c loop. I'll do a full wipe if and when I get time because this looks interesting to me.
You want feedback... will you take feature requests and suggested improvements? I offer them with respect, of course, but you might not like my opinion is all

Clean flash OG5 ODEX rom and ensure HD calling is activated and working. Then dirty flash OR15-1 DEODEX latest build.
You may have to reflash to NCG stock system. Activate HD Calling, reroot and upgrade directly to OG5.
Still not working? I don't know...

I'm not sure why everyone's speed is so low. I'm getting ~10MB/s right now on my home internet. Regardless, I'm awaiting approval from Android File Host.. until then, my server is the only option.
If anyone else wants to mirror, send me the link and I'll post it in the OP.
