Windows Media Mobile - Prevent Locking

Is there any way to prevent the device from locking while I'm playing something in WMP? I'm running WM6. Theres a refrence here: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms890787.aspx But I cannot find the option.
Are you looking for something that will prevent the device from locking during playback, or a way to continue playback once the device is in standby? If it's the latter this worked for me: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366759
I want to prevent the device from showing the password screen during playback, since I can't use the hardware buttons i set fot volume/next/prev if it locks, kind of like how you can set media player to disable the screensaver in windows...

Media Storage always running.

I've got a SGS running ICS. But for some unknown reason I've noticed that media storage is always running in the background making the CPU run at max clock all the time, which is killing the battery.
I think it might be unable to scan everything for some reason as quite alot of my photos are missing from my gallery.
Clearing the data of media storage stops it running, but I lose all the photos from the gallery and all notifications. I can use an app called Scanmedia to get all the notifications back, and only some of the photos for some reason. But media storage continues to run in background draining my battery.
Like I said earlier I think it might be a scanning bug. Unable to scan all media, so it doesn't stop scanning. That's just my guess though.
How can I fix this?

[REQUEST]Media scanner interval check

I noticed one of the most common wakelock issues has to do with the android media scanner. I know there are a few programs that deal with this, but none that are are simple as setting intervals for a media scan interval check or one with root that would allow you to disable and enable media scanning with one click.
Just an idea
yeah
you can use tasker or cron4android or scriptmanager to run it auto, or gscript manually..

Click to collapse
That was the obvious answer although its behavior might be a little difficult to dictate (most scripts written in tasker for this are at boot or turning off).
Another option is to go to market and get ROOT media scanner to disable the media scanner and a non-root media scanner that opens up and does the job and shuts within a few seconds.

Media process draining battery

Hello all. Sometimes (very often actually) the battery starts going down very fast. Taking a look at the frequency states of the CPU I saw it's because it doesn't go in deep sleep state. The guilty is the media scanner process, a sub-process of the download manager app it seems. I tried to Greenify the app, I even disabled the media scanner process completely, nothing. If I go in the Apps section in settings and I find media process in the cached processes the phone doesn't sleep (even if the service is disabled!). How do I prevent it to keep the phone in a permanent wakelock state?

How can I run main activity app at background after boot with screen locked?

"am start -n" doesn't work, my script is in "/data/ADB/service.d" with 755 permission.
System apps show notifications on the locked screen when booting, ie they run automatically. How do I do this with a user app?
I want to run a privacy app, "InviZible" when the system boots, because autostart apps have a long delay to start. If there is a way to reduce this delay, any help will do. This will prevent me from using Wi-Fi without DNSCrypt enabled.
