Hey guys,
I am using Xperia X8 with firmware 2.1.1. Could you please suggest me how to update to Gingerbread?
I have searched over the internet but I could not find anything for E15a. I found the method for E15i but I can not install xRecovery since my phone is not E15i and it is E 15a.
Please let me know if you will need any other information about the phone also...
THANKS...

Sorry to say but there is no official build of CyanogenMod For Xperia J, Get it from FreeXperia!
In the Original Development section, look for "{TIPO/MIRO/J/E} FreeXperiaProject" or something like that.

ey guys i dont know if someone has already found this but i think i might have found a way to gain access to engineer mode which was not available on our experia device....you need xblast tools installed...open up xblast tools, navigate to gesture everywhere and add gesture...choose activities..then navigate to engineer mode..you will see a list of tests and tweaks you can run..select the one you want, add a gesture..and you are done(sorry if i posted this in a wrong place..im new here)
so the whole developing thing stoped?!!?

Your 'CWM Recovery' link is not for Xperia C. If anyone do the process at your link, device will be softbricked.
