[Q] Packet data starts after doing check & uncheck the checkbox several times

I didnt use packet data from when I bought the phone. may be 1 or 2 times used. I use only WIFI. But last 2days I'm using. The problem is packet data not starts maximum of time. I have to check & uncheck the use packet data check box several times & then it starts. Is it hardware problem??

i guess you are using docomo ??
or may be videocon
and its not hardware problem it is carrier problem
you have to deal with it
i have this problem with docomo
but when using smart network data services starts in a click :good:

Its Carrier problem nt mobile hardware...
Dont worry use it like that only there is no alternative for that

Network mode in LG G2 D800

Hello
I have AT&T LG G2 D800 (unlocked)
I'm using it in Egypt and my 3g network coverage is not good
I noticed that there is no option to switch network to 2g only
Is there any way to fix this?

Did you manage to find a solution? I have the same problem as you. I tried dialing *#*#8636#*#* but i still couldn't find the preferred network option.

I installed cm 12.1
Now I can change my network to 2g mode easily
But there is no remote control app

I have the same issue of 2g network mode I tried intelli3g but there is same issue

4g jio network not working

I got jio 4g and its not working in one on cm13.
Kindly help on this asap

I am pretty much sure you are manager in some company .. Hehehe .. Buddy it is not working on cm13, i had it working only on CM12.1 last snapshot .. Don't know why ...

I have distributer card that is unlocked and worked on any mobile. Secondary it's working on other 4g enable mobile other then lyf also!

so u mean it will work with any device with 4g enabled if they just have the sim?

Did you set proper apn?
I remember somebody in a chat replicating all properties of a lyf phone via xposed device emulator.
Things worked for him. Not sure it's cm13 or any other though.
You may try rr, darkobas or sultan builds to check if it works on any of those.

But I have not getting single signal and apn is proper as it's working fine in 6 and Gionee s6

I have try with other jio card too but no signal......

well lucky u like we normal sim users need lyf device or but imei does works youtube says so !

I got the Jio sim using by generating the code from Samasung Galaxy Note 4. Activated and claimed the 3 months unlimited offer. But after inserting it to the OPO, the signal is not at all getting detected. I even tried the IMEI Changer pro app to spoof Note 4 IMEI in my phone, but still no network. Any ideas?
I am on Sulta CM13 ROM. Even tried on fusion jack build. No network.

i generated the code from opo itself and bought the sim, although it yet to be activated. but i am hearing that initially it gives 2gb then you have to activare the offer some how . did you activate the unlimited offer ?? if so how?
update: solved it. got the offer.

Since I brought the sim from code generated via Samsung note 4 and activated the sim using note 4. Since you generated code from opo, try activating the offer via Oppo itself by installing all the jio apps and then check for avail offer button.
The jio sim did not work in my opo in bangalore as it's missing LTE 850mhz band. If the network catches in you opo, please update.

In cm-12.1-YOG4PAS3JL im getting signal.. but "sign in to jio" msg in statusbar and cant connect to net ?

Reliance Jio 4G didn't work with CM 12.1 nor with CM 13.1 for me. I couldn't register onto the network and thus didn't get any signal. After flashing Oxygen OS 2.1.4 on my Oneplus One, it works without any problems.

Hello im using jio 4g without any issues here on cm13 official with oxygen os modem, i didn't try any other modem. Make sure your sim is activated, and activate the data and voice by tele verification, if you wont be able to try the 1800.. Hotline number from other sims not jio( thats the solution for sign in message in status bar too).

I activate via alternative number
I don't know firmware coz I my phone was bricked and I flashed 11s using fastboot.
Ya its totally stock Rom and I had rooted and installed xposed installer. Help me bro

just 5 mins ago i got signals and on alternate numb received mgs "now i cn tele verify my number" but now the problems is cant make my call on 1977 and now i am on latest snapshot using oxygen os firmware and flash this firmware to get signals only.

right now i am using jio 4g in slimsaber rom. I flashed that modem and its good to go. use jio join app for calling

Its not about flashing modem but you have change it euro radio band, first type *#*#4636#*#* it ll lead to testing menu and then select phone information,there select three dots on top right corner in that select radio radio try to select euro band then try to keep LTE mode in mobile networks signals should appear in status bar from then you can only use data connection not voice over LTE which is called as Volte.

Thnx a lot bro it worked..

So looks like there is no way to enable VoLTE even though the hardware supports. That's disappointing.

1) backup ur current data's
2) GO to twrp recovery
3)first flash the CM 11s modem/firmware
4)flash CM 13.1

Does mobile data turn On? Try performing a reset of network settings - Settings > System > Reset options> Reset WLAN, mobile & Bluetooth.

In the last update (Android 8.1) , it was not yet fixed. This similar issue being reported in below thread as well.

I'm in India. I use only 1 SIM. So, yeah, that works. Tested with Vodafone, Airtel and Jio.

Try disable and enable the SIM on the setting

Updated to Android 8.1, 4g still works.
