Go to Settings > About Phone and then take a screenshot and upload it.
It'll show what OS version you're on, model number etc.

Yeah man id return that back to the ebay seller, the phone is def not the skyrocket. Unless you got some amazing deal on it and want to figure out how to root and unlock it and see if it works on att/tmo

Nope, the at&t skyrocket vs their normal s2 (I777) was as follows:
Skyrocket had snapdragon CPU but I777 had exynos
Skyrocket had 4.5 inch screen, I777 had 4.3
Skyrocket had LTE but I777 had 4G

Someone said it's a GT-I9210, and I think he was right.
I've got a GT-i9210T (Telstra version, from Australia) and it looks exactly the same, except for a different logo on the battery cover.

I know it is not an original S3 although it looks exactly the same. Many features do not function and I want to try (super noob as I am) to fix it.
Any other way to determine make?

Yes, multi-window, smart stay, S beam are all available on the S IV. Very unnecessary thread though.

Why couldn't it be the international, Sprint, or T-Mobile variant? Just because it isn't Verizon-branded doesn't mean it's AT&T's. I mean, I hope it is, but I really doubt it.

this is a picture I took...the connection to wifi is because ATT phones automatically connect to ATT hotspots so u can't see the 4G logo to verify...this was at an ATT store in Durham, NC where I'm at for training on the new BB Z10

Won't do the i337 any good.
Would probably have a nexus 5 as my back up, S4 will remain my main phone.

Well 2 different purposes IMO, but I'll give it a try......
S4 is 1080 p - Note 2 is 720 p
No S-pen obviously for the S4, but with the AIR gestures, you still can hover with your finger to preview things and it has eye detector features such as Smart Stay/Pause/Scroll which I believe are not on Note 2.
Battery life is better on the Note 2, as it has a bigger battery than the S4
That's as far as I know about those 2 beasts

The LCD display on my Galaxy Rogers doesn't work, is all black now, I think the touch screen works but I can't find the lcd screen anywhere, however there are two other S2 Galaxy phones with the same screen size which is 4,52" and I found the replacement. So I was wondering if I can replace it with this screen instead of the actual I727R screen.
I want to know if they are compatible. Thanks for your help.

There are lots of exact replacements available on eBay or AliExpress, I wouldn't try something not made for your phone... Typically they are slights different, if I remember right, the II has a hole in the screen for a home button. The Skyrocket aka II LTE does not.

I agree, there are lots of skyrocket specific replacements and Op shoud use that.
As for the north american S2, it doesn't have a home button, just like our phone which also is an S2. However, the rest of the worlds S2 models do have one.

All the 91xx series S II's have a home button, the 727 and 9xx S II LTE series do not. They are very different phone. Samsung really screwed up by naming too many phones S II.
You have 727, get a 727 screen.

I can't find the exact replacement for my phone anywhere, that's why i'm asking. I have the Canadian version of the skyrocket and they both look exactly the same but I don't know if they are compatible.
