This ROM is just a simple Samsung ICS Leak minus the bloatware from AT&T and a few tweaks. Thinking about theme but not sure I am still new to the android system files. For now, I just wanted to share what I have to the community, the debloating and zipalign seemed to help for more smoothness of the rom.
What you will find in this ROM:
Rooted (Superuser.apk + su)
Rooted (unsecured boot.img)
BusyBox installed
BusyBox run-parts support
/system/framework is deodexed
/system/app is deodexed
14 Toggle Mod (credits go to: yoderk + romracer)
Does not delete internal SD memory
Working on:
Battery tweaks
Data tweaks
System tweaks
Warning: I first installed the ICS leak before flashing this. I would suggest you flash that first. Otherwise, reports of flashing the I727UCALC4 modem from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1567213 may work with this. If anyone would like to confirm please let me know. THANKS.
Instructions:
Download the rom and place in your external sd card
Reboot to Recovery
Wipe Cache 3x
Under Advanced Wipe Dalvik Cache 3x
Wipe Battery Stats
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Flash ROM
Wipe Data/Factory Reset 3x
Give it some time to fully boot! Enjoy!

I'd love a full AOSP theme, except youtube red instead of blue everywhere. maybe thats just me.
Sick of the aosp requests. No disrepect. Theres just a lot of them already on here. Do something colorful. Getting tired of the just blue or just green. maybe with some cool toggle images

I'll create a flashable zip and upload soon as i get to my home computer.
...wait I spoke to soon. If i do that and you flash the zip it might break your rom theme layout if its themed of course... Don't know if people still would want it like that

Definitely hit me up if you wanna team up. I need an experienced themer to theme, since I'm coming from the iOS system and still learning the android system. I'm working on some battery tweaks now and doing some research on MIUI

It is better to use the UOT Kitchen (uot.dakra.lt). Each custom ROM will have its own custom framework-res. Thus, a one size fits all is not be the best way to go, since a zip made on one framework may break another. You can easily rebuild the apk in UOT kitchen and that would give you a fully compatible flashable zip.

I wonder why this post hasnt gotten more attention than this. Ive been looking for a truly english MIUI port and was willing to settle for GB or CM7 but youve done it in ICS and CM9! and on IPlasm's Phonerty ROM which is my daily ROM right now. WOW! Kudos man. Im currently downloading, I'll test and let you know how it goes. I know you said youre not a dev but if you can succesfully pull of this port, im sure theres a lot more you can do. Id like to encourage you to develop this further. thanks a lot!

downloaded and installed, unfortunately, didn't boot. its stuck at the boot animation. I've flashed it twice. The second time, I formatted all the caches but it still didnt run. please share any ideas you might have.

Sorry, this my first rom and have some bugs. You can call to your devices to test when boot success. No one care about this rom and if you like this, i will sent you the last rom i've fixed bug by pm. Can't post link because not enough 10 posts.
i appreciate the quick response. will test soon and let you know. in the mean time, you could add a few screenshots and change the title of the thread to to include more info about the ROM like the base ROM. also, make ur reccomendations for the LK to use and any process you'd reccomend during the flash process in the first post. maybe that'll grab some more attention from passers-by in the forums and pull some of the big names like Munjeni in. I'm quite sure there is a demand for a ROM like this seeing as HD Mini ROMs are in short supply.

so, after numerous flashes and reflashes, i think i've got my bootloader sorted out finally and MIUI v4 is running! :good:
So far, I'm loving it. I was having problems with Phonerty (my Play Store wasnt working and i couldnt sync) but its all sorted out and my phoen feels brand new. and then of courese there's the beauty of MIUI, it almost looks like a new screen.
The OS is fast and responsive. I seem to have noticed a graphic bug already though: the gallery seems to spill out of the screen where it says "explore storage card" at the bottom of the screen. I'll post screenshots very soon as well as the results of my testing

Workarounds
To resolve the grahical issues with the Gallery, install Gallery ICS from Play Store and set it as the default image viewer.
To apply themes, create the folder data/system/themes. You will need root access to do this so either use a root level file manager or
Download terminal emulator from the market and write:
su
cd data/system
mkdir theme
(Press "enter" after each command)

Try starting the music player again right after it crashes, if that doesn't work, try a third party music player. If that works, try flashing the ROM again. I noticed I had a lot of FCs after my first flash but less after I reflashed.
To control the CPU, search for a CPU throttle in the Play Store. I personally use CPU Tuner but some may find it too complicated.

However, i managed to encouter some problem.
First, i don't know why, but this rom can't give me access to superuser/root permission.
Then some apps began to be quite buggy, with lots of graphical issue whenever a new window in the prog had to pop up.
And last, i had a "black screen" default (which needed batery removal and all that to reboot), just after i had a received a sms.

I encountered all of those bugs as well. I think its because MIUI handles permissions in a slightly different way from non-MIUI ROMs. I had the black screen twice in one day but havent had it since. I know it happens a lot less or not at all in 2G mode. I think it goes back to Munjeni's Phonerty ROM which is the base for this port. I'll look through that thread to see if there are any solutions.

Not (Munjeni's Phonerty ROM!).. "it's two difficult ROMs"
Munjeni's ROM name for htc mini is simply CM9 4.0.4 htc mini. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1625638
but Phonerty is mine (iPlasm), I name it that [Photon+Liberty=?] http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1756672
simply different we can say Phonerty is a Liberty ROM (a copy of htc aria) with munjeni's drives.

My bad! thanks for clearing that up.
I tried using a modified AOSP camera app here. It gave me the same quality video that the stock one that came with cm10 did. Does anyone know of a camera app that can record anything higher than 17mbps video, since everything that moves is pixelated when viewed on a computer. Thanks
*EDIT* I tried HX camera mod, and after a flash, my phone gets frozen at the gs3 logo.

I never run CM but one I linked to is the N5 AOSP 4.4 camera with increased FPS. I would think it would work on any AOSP base. Shouldn't work on TW but it does. I'm running it on TW with stock app just pulled from Nexus 5. No port. One you were trying to use was ported to International S3. They are talking about putting the 4.4 camera app in the playstore. Don't know what else you could do. That would be bad CM code if AOSP camera don't work.
Should i install the kitkat camera app that was pulled from the source?

That is what I have. Works fine on TW. The one I linked to is that same KitKat camera app with FPS and resolution hacks.
After installing the app and then flashing the file, still gets stuck on gs3 logo. I could try editing the medix_profiles.xml for the app. Will report back

Wipe Dalvik and cache before flash. May be bad updater scripts for your device. I would try manual install with root explorer or move into a flashable TW or CM zip.

I dont think its ever going to work with cm, maybe its the roms fault that it isn't compatible. When i edit the media_profiles.xml, i see no difference. Maybe i didnt modify the right part. Can anyone help with this?

i've just flashed v18 on PA rom, everything is fine except dt2w. i try gesture wake or performance control, but still not work. :crying:

You need enable Dt2w with faux clock or other tweaker
later go to Wake gestures and now it work
It does not work quite right ...
Although I can install the kernel, the camera does not work properly, try as abriral says "can't connect to the camera", everything else works fine ... but I can not help if the kernel does not work very well.

Camera?
I love this kernel as its the only one that I know of that still has OC. But everytime I try to open any camera app, even stock, it says that it can't connect to the camera. Why does it do that? Is there something I did wrong?

old cam libs aren't for stock i guess..did the same to me. reflashing the kernel also didn't help.

I did my own patch with the libs from stock kk rom and it works. i can try to upload it but just flashing the stock rom should fix it

I only could upload it to mega. Just flash this from recovery and camera should be fixed on stock rom. It worked for me

HI! i have updated my cyanogen mod at the ultimate nightly. Reflashed xperience-18 kernel, and every time i open the youtube app, i got an error and the app crash.
Every time i see an video in chrome, chrome beta, the audio is playing and the video is in black screen, still a few seconds and chrome crash.
i've done a fresh reinstall of cyanogen (with all wipes), then open youtube app and videos in chrome/chrome beta and all function ok. Then flash xperience kernel, and the problems come again.
Any ideas? some other people with the same issue?

Device turns on while chargin
I'm on PA + 18v (but tested v16 too) and devices turns on if you connect to charger while it's off.
Already tested with stock kernel from PA and phantom kernel and the problem dissapear.

i've done a fresh reinstall of cyanogen (with all wipes), then open youtube app and videos in chrome/chrome beta and all function ok. Then flash xperience kernel, and the problems come again.
Any ideas? some other people with the same issue?

I only could upload it to mega. Just flash this from recovery and camera should be fixed on stock rom. It worked for me

Maan I have been searching for a custom ROM for a year for. My canvas 5. ,I have sent many email to micromax and everywhere. Now I have android 7.1.2. That's freaking AWESOME and problem I found that is battery is daring fast and the keyboard. ,and there is kinda many option missing and I really wanna say about the keyboard :good: I am really greatfulll and really looking forward for updates and the navigation bars vibration and navigation bar style if u could change that it will be kinda awesome and last the file manager and gallery sucks. For the gallery can u add piktures app and file manager need improvement and:fingers-crossed: and another problem I encounterd is that when I download something and switch off the screen I get stopped and I have to frequently switch on the screen whether it is still downloading that's a major issue

Try to calibrate your battery(already mentioned in the description) it will be give u better battery.
Search on google to change nav bat or you can install xposed and the use the module xstana to change your navbar.
Don't play any video in gallery that stuck your device. Try mx player
Go to settings-sound-other sound and then turn off touch sound and viberate on tap

Is there any way to install this ROM on a Wiko Fever without losing the baseband?
Try it, just take a backup of your nvram and then if u lose the baseband then restore nvram...... If it works mail me on [email protected] ..:silly:

I've tried it and it didn't work, that's why I was asking. I've also tried those IMEI restore apps, which didn't work either.

Thanks Harish for the PM.. and yup i also think old gallery app and other problem causing app should be removed... So i am in favor for a refurbished rom...And again really appreciating yours and Arshjot hard work in this old phone.

After installing TWRP do i need to do a factory reset or do i have to backup nvram data. Or any other steps do i have to follow before flashing your ROM.
I didn't want to back up whole ROM as i don't have that much of space. But I have taken backup of all necessary data on my lapi.
I am on a rooted stock lollipop ROM and have xposed installed.
Eagerly waiting for your reply.
