Revert to stock atnt 2.20 after installing cm10 - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Hi guys,
So I unlocked my boot loader and using twrp installed cm10. To boot it I had to flash boot.IMG from the zip file and everything works fine
Now I wanna revert to the stock ROM. I made a backup of it using twrp. So when I wipe off the cm10 rom using twrp n restore my stock backed up ROM, my phone doesn't boot. Just a blank screen.
Anything I need to do different?

You have to flash the boot.img from the sence rom

Thanks a lot for ur help. I don't know where to get the boot.IMG of the sense ROM. Any directions as to where can I find it?

Extract it from the nandroid backup

These r the files in the twrp folder for my Stock ROM. Can't see a boot.IMG

sorry maybe twrp doesn't backup boot.img
You can download a 2.20 ruu and try an extract boot.img from there.

boot.emmc.win is the boot.img, not sure how TWRP handles backing up of boot when on the higher hboot though.

The very 1st file "boot.emmc.win" that's the boot.img
So just flash that through fastboot and it should work
You can change the name of the file to boot.img if you want

And if we want to revert to an RUU, we just lock the bootloader and run the exe
Or do we need to flash the stock recovery first?
Cheers

Yes, lock bootloader flash ruu.

Is there a way to download leedroid tweaks on its own ?
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
Leedroid has v6.4 on the one S? or the one X?
V2.1 for the One S
Are there any direct links for the one s latest version only tweaks
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
I dont think the tweaks will work on a stock ROM, They require the modded framework.
;( leedroid always messes up when I try download it to my phone

Did you flash the rom in cwm after the first time you flashed the boot.img? If not then that is probably your issue.
For me I flashed boot flash rom in cwm and for good measure flashed the boot again.
I am going to try a new download of the rom I think that could be my issue.
Right ill basically start from as if i was to flash the rom from if i has a stock phone
1.Make sure phone is rooted and unlocked by Htc dev
2.Have a custom recovery flashed
3.Download the v2.0 and v2.1 of the rom and also the boot.img
4.Place v2.0 and v2.1 files into a folder on your sd card.
5.Now make a nandroid backup of your current rom you are using before you flash LeeDroids rom
6.Extract the boot.img so that you can run the command to flash the .img to your phone
7.Boot phone into bootloader then fastboot, connect phone to pc and it should say fastboot usb.
8.Run the boot.img file to which ever OS you are using (meaning windows, mac etc.)
9.Get back into the bootloader screen and get into recovery.
10. Format system, data and cache also wipe dalvik cache as well. It should be wiped by formatting system and data but only takes 2seconds to do it anyway. You will find it under advanced menu(In Clockworkmod)
11. Find the .zip of leedroids v2.0 and flash it
12.Reboot phone and finish the setup menu and just let the phone settle for a minute or two after you finished it
13. Boot phone into bootloader and then fastboot. Run the boot.img again just to be sure.
14.Boot into recovery and flash v2.1 and then reboot and enjoy.
Now set phone up the way you want
This is the method i have used seems long but only takes 10minutes once you have all the files. I have done this 4 times using this method
I will try this method later so what's the v6.4?

Confused about flashing rooms and boot.img

Whats this problem with the boot.img?
So to flash a rom, I need to flash the boot.img using the boot installer tool, then I put the rom on my SD card and flash it?
Do I also have to flash the boot.img to restore my phone from a previous recovery? I heard this somewhere and was a bit confused,
Just download a ROM from the phone itself. Use flash image GUI. Using flashgui app, Navigate to ROM you downloaded, click. It'll automatically flash kernel. Immediately after boot into recovery, flash entire ROM, then flash gapps if necessary... Profit

There are a couple of roms that are hboot 1.14 friendly right? Doesn't viper have the ability to flash the kernel upon install?
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
I'm not really into sense ROMs, but I know viperxl and cleanrom 5.1 you can flash ROM in recovery.. they're definitely good to have on your SD card as a safety net in case something goes crazy and there's no way to fast boot...

[Q] Complete Help

I know you guys hate this, but I need help.
I have an HTC One S, unlocked. I am in Canada, it's unlocked for Mobilicity, but not sure where it came from originally.
How do I know what exact version phone I have, and how do I go about getting a newer android version on it. 4.2.2 or at least 4.2.
AW: [Q] Complete Help
What do you mean with "version"
Look under settings->phone information or sth like that. Latest official version for the one s is android 4.1.1.
If you mean which model, check how your CPU frequency is, 1,7ghz is the C2/S3, 1,5ghz is the C1/S4.
If you want android 4.2.2 flash a custom recovery and follow the instruction for flashing a custom rom (cm10.1), you will find it in the development section

Ok, so I want to install
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2051865
Not sure how. I have 1.06 band and 3.08-01575 kernel version.
hboot 1.14....what do I need to do to get this installed. It says something about aroma installer, but have no idea how to use that.
AW: [Q] Complete Help
Aroma installer is a GUI for the installing progress.
Wipe everything twice before flashing the Rom.
Extract the Boot.IMG Form the flash zip.
Flash the Boot.IMG via fastboot ("fastboot flash boot boot.img" there are flashing guides in the forum)
Clear dalvik cache
Flash the rom and everything should work fine
Good luck

[Q] Question about S-On and restoring a backup

So, I have S-On and the newer Hboot (1.14 I believe), and I had a quick question about TWRP restores and fastboot.
Normally, the process of flashing a new ROM means that I go into fastboot and flash the boot.img first, then go back into TWRP to flash the ROM.
However, what if this happens:
1. backup the ROM that I'm currently on (which is, say AOKP)
2. flash to a new ROM using fastboot boot.img and TWRP (this ROM is Sense-based)
Now, I decide I liked my old AOKP rom better. Can I just go into TWRP and click on restore? Or do I have to do something else first?
You need to also flash the boot.img for the ROM you are restoring to.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Well if its on your sd card click install then go to file, if its nandriod then use restore and re flash img. I strongly suggest you do s off , process is easy if you read the thread and follow instructions

The answer to any question that starts like this is "You need to s-off before going any further."
