hello and sorry to starting a new thread, but as for now, the original FXP-CM10 thread is locked. Does anyone have the information about dual sim support? I have googled a lot to find a phone with this feature an also featuring CM. Xperia Tipo dual looks promising but no info anywhere.

In theory you should b able to use the same as the single sim unless Sony is storing gsm radio info in the system partition but as long as your ta files aren't overwritten you should b good

@Yperion can you confirm if with olds versions cm10 and dual tipo is possible use one sim for voice and the other for data? I can't try the last version...boot loop for all users

Guys tipo dual is not supported to CM10 as well as MIUI
i tested both rom yesterday both rom not able to detect sim card other features u can use both calling and messaging not available yet

yes wifif working and on FXP 202 u can enjoy google now voice feature also

Successfully installed, everything seemed to work fine, except that my SIM cards were not recognized, though I tried inserting only one card or pulling out and reinserting it. The same thing happened when I tried MIUI releases. Hope the FXP guys fix this problem for Tipo Dual, as CM is IMHO a very good custom ROM. I'll really appreciate this.

I have used cyanogenmod 10 made for tipo single sim in my xperia tipo dual sim.
Everything runs goood. But the problem is there is no network..
when i try to select network manually, in the the network provider list ,
there is few network shown as unknown.
no hope!!!!!!!!
Please fix these problem so tipo dual users can use the jelly bean mod.

So the kernel sources for Xperia E have been released, and they are of a different development branch to Xperia J - 11.3 vs 11.2. That is a bit disappointing that Sony are choosing to develop the E on a separate branch, I'm downloading the sources now to see what I can learn. Depending on whether Sony decide to release any more msm7x27a / msm8x25 devices will determine whether it will be worthwhile in trying to merge these branches.

Yup! I got my Sony Xperia E 3 days ago and have been looking for activity on xda-developers ever since but didn't really find much. If there's any information you could share about rooting the phone, it would be great. It's not even listed as a device on the forum yet! I hope there's some activity soon. Looking forward to it!

Got mine C1505 (Xperia E single) a week ago. First night unlocked bootloader - and got bootloop on original ROM. Then flashed FXP kernel and their CM10.1 ROM, got phone working - sort of. No connectivity, unusable keyboard and ROM was kinda ugly-looking. Strangely, CWM backup I made after flashing kernel and before ROM, was bad. So, spent next 20 hours looking for original tft file. No luck with that - then got from Sony Developers site their beta tool Emma and flashed back the original JB. Phone is operational again, but I lost root to it. Now I´m looking for a root solution fit for E that doesn´t include connectivity loss.

Unlock root doesn't work on the E Jellybean.
He should try the bin4ry tool, no-one has reported about yet it, while more have asked.

I have bought the Xperia Z Ultra today in Hong Kong, so I made the FTF flash file.

It still haven't the X-Reality Engine on the C6802 yet, just using MBE2.
Because Sony want to make an update to add the X-Reality Engine and multi-small apps function when the 4G LTE version on sale at mid-September.
Is it possible some one could extract all the apk's from the apps folder and upload them somewhere.
Edit: not needed now as just seen the other thread with the apps.

Seen it everywhere (fortress, broadway etc) in Time Square last week end, I'm pretty sure it was available to buy but I didn't want to be tempted so I didn't bother look further.

Does not quite understand why u would flash a stock firmware over yours... try SUS. It should repair the phone. and, wipe the device.

If you already know what you're going to do next step are:
1. Make sure you're rooted

thanks for your input but it seems that the newest firmware (4.2.2) hasn't got recovery yet then we can't flash anything through cwm since we haven't got it. In the other hand, I posted an application that can be installed freely (only need root) compared to CWM.
We haven't got CWM for latest firmware right?

the original post is 5th September 2013. Why did you flash it? It's not compatible with latest firmwares.

1. Flash kernel 11.3.A.0.47
2. Root your XE using Framaroot. (Gandalf exploit)
3. Flash kernel 11.3.A.2.23
Done! Your XE (SS) - 11.3.A.2.23 is rooted! :good:
Note: after flashing 0.47 kernel, your wifi and mobile data will not work, but dont worry, they will work normally after flashing 2.23 kernel.

While searching I found that Xperia E also uses a 3.15MP camera sensor and comes with JB. So, their is a high probably that its liboemcamera.so may support our 3.15MP camera sensor too. Can someone please upload just the liboemcamera.so file present in your ROM ? Thanks

But now Framaroot doesn't work.
What do I do?

Someone started a post on Cyanogenmod Forums requesting CM Support for our Sony Xperia M2, so I'm sharing this right here so that if anyone is interested in having CM roms for our device in the official way, comment there so that they take into account our Smartphone for future releases

I can bring CM 11 for M2. It has near about same msm8226 board as of T2 ultra and we've already booted cm 11 on t2 ultra(haven't released since we need to resolve some problems). But I don't have this device so it'll pretty difficult to do without the device. I am pretty sure I can bring this if I can be provided the device, if not, I need some guys who know how to use adb and can test the builds accordingly

you do a rom for the sony m as i have this mobile 2 and the m2 have been trying out roms on the sony xperia m .well hope you can bring the M2 alive on here as it needs some development .willing to test once i have unit unlocked and bootloader unlocked shortly.

I'd like to help, but I'm not able to unlock the bootloader right now, it's locked from carrier!
Hopefully, my carrier Vodafone it's sending liberation codes for free for anyone who wants them right now, so I'm going to wait until I receive it and then I will send the phone to Sony so that they change the bootloader unlock allowed from no to yes :victory:
However, I've noticed that the Unlock Bootloader webpage at sony Developers has just changed, now it's more simple and.. they've REMOVED the M2, incredibly, check this:
Hope they add again the M2 to their list so that I can unlock it in some weeks

I have begun work on /trying/ to build a pure AOSP version of KitKat over to the M2 to see what features are easiest to work on when beginning work on CM11...
