Zagg invisibleshield now available! - Nexus 4 Accessories

It's I found it on their website
It's only the regular, non-hd protector.
NOTE: The N4 is the E960 right?
http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/lg-nexus-4-e960-cases-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php

Zagg sucks major ballsack and is nowhere near invisible. And the "free" life time warranty will cost you $6 each time. So I'm going with BSE for sure.

Just informing everyone!

Honestly idk why they bother with the regular invisible shields. They should just stick with HD ones!

Zagg sucks! "True Story."

I really wanted to take the plunge for this, but I ended up going with Phantom Skinz because of Fixter's posts. The only thing is, wrapsol is solely a clear skin which can be nice or bad. They have great reviews as far as protection, orange peel, and cut/look go and that makes them a tempting purchase for anyone looking for a nice skin.
If I don't like/get tired of/tear my Phantom Skinz I'll certainly buy a Wrapsol one next!
EDIT: I should also note that they'll set you back about $29 with shipping even after the coupon.
I'm interested in the Wrapsol skin! But the $30 pricetag is a bit excessive, specially when none of the other brands are over $20 for a full body skin.... Hmm
I have used Zagg Invisible Shield, BodyGuardZ and Wrapsol on previous touch screen phones, i have had alot, and my personal oppion, is that BodyGuardsZ is best quality, less noticable on phone, Zagg would be second for my opinion, but a little glossy. Wrapsol was ok, but... not worth the price. Personal opinion though.

Was ready to pull the trigger on the wrapsol, but I will try bodyguardz after reading your post. They all have money back guarantee, but I like how warpsol was drop protection (if its true).

skinomi $19.95
Skinomi are cheaper on Amazon for about $17 for full body.
I can get Zagg skins for $3. (Friend works at bestbuy).
PhantomSkin full body which has TWO full body skins for $18 including shipping.
BodyGuards design looks horrible. Even on the website the skins look like they aren't well designed and hardly cover the device.

Zagg Invisible Shield?

I emailed Zagg about the invisible shield for the Droid Charge to see if/when they will have it. Normally they are right there with product launches if only for the screen at first but so far nothing which is odd.
Is that the screen protector where you need to dip it in soapy water? I always had trouble putting those on lol
They are available at best buy.
Interesting, they don't have them on their own website but in Best Buys, well at larger markets I'm sure as my store seems to be missing the ones I need. By chance did they have the full body kit or just the screen?
It was just for the screen.
Gotcha, thanks. I did find another company offering it on eBay, its the same 3M material etc, but it was half the price for a full kit.
Oddly though I did get a reply from Zagg, and they said since the phone is not available yet, they DIDN'T have a kit for it at all. Glad to know they don't even know they have one

Can you share the company? I'd like to pick one up as well.
Honestly, I prefer PhantomSkinz.com over Zagg. Same self-healing coating, *considerably* less rubbery feeling.
I was able to get the screen-only cover for my Droid Charge from them for $7.97 shipped, with a coupon. Highly recommend (Used them on my Fascinate and Epic 4G, as well).
I also like that they can be taken off/put on just by getting it wet again. Saves me the fear of totally botching the application process.
ZAGG has had them for a week or so, not sure why they said they don't. I ordered mine before launch. They only have the front screen though, nothing for the back.
They have been in stock for over a month now...

I love SGP screen protectors. Highly recommend them if you can't find what you are looking for. I use them on everything.

I used the ZAGG invisible shield on my Fascinate but it was not so great. On my TP2, it was fine, but on my Fascinate, it did not work well. After about a week, the protector was damaged and got air bubbles under it, same thing happened with the warranty replacement. Not sure what was causing the problem as I never dropped it and the only thing that would be in my pocket with my phone was plastic.
I got the Steinheil screen protector for the Charge as I have heard a lot of great feedback for them, so hopefully, they work better.
ZAGG sale
Everything on ZAGG.com will be 50% off the 30th and 31st.
Here is the company that is making the full body kit for the Charge http://www.clearprotector.com/
Definitely zagg it you wont go.wrong
Does the Steinheil have orange peel?
Phantom skins any good for this device? thinking of getting a charge, have an invisishield on my ipod touch thou.

The Ultra Crystal looks like the stock glass on the phone.
I do prefer the Steinheil crystal clear, its like nothing is there.
Any update on any of these. I like the look of the chromatics from Phantom but the liquid install of their clears is a little worrisome though it may make life easier even.

Any good Ebay Screen Protectors?

So ever since i got my one X i've been on a quest for a good screen protector. i started with cheapo ebay ones that were 6 for $2 but the edges lifted because it was a full screen protector and the quality wasnt great(they would scratch easily). I just recently bought the SGP screen protectors thinking because they were cut smaller i wouldnt have the issue of it lifting at the edges, but i still do. The quality of the SGP is good, it is not as fingerprint resistant as i had hoped but i still have the issue of it lifting. My gf has the Zagg HD on her phone which looks pretty good, does still have a bit of orange peel effect to it but otherwise covers a lot of the phone and does not lift at all because it is a wet application screen protector. I may have to buy one if i end up exhausting all other options, but till then i was wondering if anyone has found a screen protector they like on ebay before i pony up $30 for the Zagg HD at best buy
ZAGG HD, just do it
i wish i had bought a couple of those skinomis when they were .99 . i plan to use a case but from what ive seen the protector could work fine with a case

Those were apparently a bad batch and they wouldn't fully dry or something.
I just got an AT&T branded one from the AT&T store (I got 3 of them for $12) and they applied it for me.
I must say it is very nice. It doesnt have the lifting at the edges because it doesn't go all the way to the edge, it just goes to the extent of the flat part of the screen.
Its clarity is nice and it has a good matte finish.
I picked up the full front and back Zagg yesterday had AT&T throw it on mine yesterday. They put it on for free and I'm liking it.

the original or the HD? the original zagg is pretty awful in terms of orange peel and how your finger sticks to it. rohan when you say matte do you mean the antiglare? how does the screen protector do with scratches, some scratch more easily than others and become pointless because youre looking at a screen covered in scratches

I've only had it on for a day so I can't really tell you much about its durability, sorry.
And yeah I mean antiglare.
I said this in another thread about the Zagg HD.... The HD is FAR better than the regular Zagg in that there is ZERO orange-peel effect and it doesn't go all the way to the edge of the display so a case of any type won't pull up the edges at all. I've always used Zagg shields and because I used to work for Best Buy mobile I have become rather adept at installing them. The Zagg HD also gives you that 'glass' feel as well. It's almost like having nothing on your display at all.
Sent from my HTC One X
it does have some orange peel effect, nowhere near as much as the original but lets be real, its a sham. there should be no zagg hd, this is just an improved product over their original, unfortunately this is how businesses propose they make money. Make a better product and charge a premium for it. if it weren't $30 I would have had one the day it came out. i'd pay the original $15 zagg price but double that is just ludicrous LUDA!!!

Thanks! watched a couple of reviews on ebay, doesn't look like theres any orange peel in the videos. ordered 2 front for my one x and a front and back for my future galaxy S3
I always buy the cheaper ones from eBay that don't have the 'water' application method. Tried that once, never again. Bad results.
I go for the Hong Kong ones, or USA resellers of them since they are cheap and work great for a couple years or more. I use disposable gloves in a humid bathroom to apply so as not to get much fingerprints/dust. Works great most of the time.
I also get the soft silicon cases from ebay which usually wrap around the front enough to cover the edges of the protector so I haven't noticed any edge peeling so far on the screen protector.

Tempered Glass protectors?

Any recommendations?
Looking to grab a glass protector from aliexpress but since the phone is relatively new, not sure of anyone's experience there. Previously got one for my S4 there and it was perfect.
Please report/merge if a similar thread already exists! TIA!

I first tried ZAGG glass but then I ended up using Galaxy S5 Screen Protector GLAS.tR SLIM Privacy. Both were pretty impressive to me. ZAGG has lifetime warranty for spigen I think you only get 90 days both cost the same $39.99 and ZAGG Glass is $34.99 on the website

Yep, aware of the bigger and more common brands. They are also usually more than 5 times the price of an equivalent one from China though!
Wondering if anyone had experience with the glass protectors from the Asian market?
I have used iLoome and Spigen products before and they do not impress me for the price I pay relative to alternatives at that point in time.

Well there's a saying you get what you pay for...pay for something cheap its obviously going to be cheap...if you pay for something that's pricey then most of the time the quality is great but here's some links hopefully it helps!

i have different view on this matter. i'd recommend you to use asian brands because they are economical, yet good quality.
i'm using niilkin tempered glass, it's korean brand, it cost me just 14$ but i'm so satisfied with it, it fits perfectly with s5, finger-print resistance, real glass and super responsive. it's what you see is what you get.
hope it helps you
I ordered this one from DX :

Great glass
I am using the Lunnitt 9H (purchased from Amazon), love it and can't say a thing bad about the protector.
Thanks for the suggestion all!
And if you really think that protector you get for paying the overpriced $30+ is any better than the $5 one... The marketing got you good...
I use baseus, got it for about 15$.
I have it for about a month and a half now and it's still fingerprint resistant, very easy to clean, no scratches, and it's glass so it feels good to touch, i can't stand the plastic films.
I don't intend on finding out about shatter resistance though
Got the tech armor one, pretty good and very easy to put on, it was for $15 at amazon
got the glass m

I got the Hero Glass from Amazon. $15 Awesome! Sorry, can't post a link yet.
Anybody pop off Otterbox defender screen protector and use a glass one? Ive been thinking of trying it but not sure if it will fit. I hate the defender case protector and love the clarity of the glass ones.
Using m-glass. On all devices. Very nice and shipping to Russia cheap. Feel like no protector.

Cheapest case with built in screen protector...

Since Otterbox seems to release their Defenders two months after the phone release, I need case with screen protections built in... No way I am letting this phone go commando for two months... What is the cheapest one you have found?

The Ringke Slim is an excellent thin case that ships with a nice free screen protector. I normally don't use their included screen protector because I prefer glass, but I'm using it now until the glass protector issues are sorted out.
I got it shipped for less than $10 through Amazon Prime.

How's the included screen protector that came with your Ringke Slim? I put mines aside cuz I'm also waiting for a good glass, but debating if I should just slap the free one on.. Do you notice any glare when using your phone outdoor? And how does the edges look with your screen protector on?
It's a perfect cut. To tell you the truth, I'm a little shocked how good it is considering that it was free with the case. The cuts get as close as possible without going into the bended glass portion so no lift issue. This also means you have to get alignment right during install.
As far as glare, didn't notice any. I put it on because I didn't want to rush into buying an unproven glass protector.
