General Information
1) In complete downloads
You need to post exact server link like the download page in Firefox or chrome will show either m1.androidfilehost.com , m2, m3 etc. Then I can talk to hosting guys to correct that problem. It is better to mention time of download and if you can then IP.
2) Wifi / Usb tether is not working
Till the time I found a fix please use Barnacle from Play Store or Wifi Tether application.
3) Multilingual Package
As soon as MIUI Android releases multilingual package then I'll update in OP. Just download package and apply on existing ROM. While applying just wipe cache & dalvik cache. Multilingual package version and your ROM version must be same.

First off--thanks for tackling this!
I'm curious if there is something unique about wiping using that zip file. I usually do it manually from recovery, but is there something different here? I'm looking forward to testing it later today.
By the way, since this is based off of a miuiandroid.com (Brit) build, is this actually going to be more like that or miui.us? What are the differences between them?

This is automated script which will clear and I can trust it. As long as you can able to wipe whole data, system, dalvikcache, cache and .android folder on sdcard then this is fine .
I think miuiandroid.com is basically from miui.com. I don't know about miui.us. Post feedback then I can take right source

Will check it tomorrow (if time permits). If base has this problem then it will not work. If you can able to send log then I can look into that.

I can definitely do that. I just did a search and found that there is a substantial difference between "wipe" data/system/cache and "format" data/system/cache, and it seems that "format" is the best choice for the cleanest start. Just thought I'd share that, as I will be trying that next time around.
I'm guessing that I will wipe my second partition on my SD card, which is my link2sd partition. I believe Titinium + Nandroid backups will include all that and I will be ok.
Yayyyy

Hey, maybe there is a chanse this mod can be added?
Theres sourcecode there.

Loving this so far Thanks heaps, have always had a soft spot for MIUI, this is just what I have been looking for. Best of both worlds.

Hope you can update MIUI weekly build with AOSP Base
I really don't like Sense Base, it sucks....

LATEST MIUI RELEASE NOW UP 1.6.24 PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE INFO.
This is my version of MIUI that I put together on a weekly basis, It is a barebone release of MIUI, so none of the added bloatware.
MIUI by default has a lot installed and on the Desire our space is precious. So i striped out everything and only add the stuff in I want to use manually.
This Rom is the completly stripped Rom Base and comes in at only 60MB. So it's your decision what you add to this Rom.
This Rom will also run on the Oxygen R2 Table, as fits into the 100mb system partition.. - Thanks to VNVMAN for testing.
Base Rom Comes with:
GingerBread Base 2.3.4
A2SD
Zipalined
Deodexed
Rooted - Super User
BusyBox
MIUI Home
T9 Dialer
SMS
Contacts
Theme Manager
MIUI Camera
MIUI Gallery
MIUI Notifications
Android Market
MIUI Backup
Update's and Releases.
Due to a few teething issues that naturally occur when a new version of MIUI is released, I have decided all future releases will be under two catogories, so you all know what to expect from the ROM.
Stable - For people who want a fully functioning reliable Rom.
Experimental - For people to download, to see the latest features and report bugs.
Latest Stable Release:

Experimental
None at the moment, as all issues with the latest release were ironed out 25/06/11
You do not need to Wipe to apply the latest fixes, however to take advantage of the extra system partition space it is recommended.
If you are new to the Rom, there is no need to apply the old Rom first, as these are full Rom Updates.
Please see the 2nd Post for any Addon's i thought you may want, that were striped.

On completion Reboot and Enjoy!
Any Issues experinced coming from a different MIUI ROM e.g XJ's please do a full Wipe.
Activating A2SD+

Open the terminal

Type A2SD zipalign
Type A2SD cachesd

Of course I don't mind.
1) The main difference's are ive cut out all the crap basically, so you have the ability to choose what additions are added to this ROM and not me or anyone else. The other main diference is it fits on a 100mb System partition. So the Oxygen Hboot for example.
2) It doesn't currently have 720p no, but you won't find a Gingerbread release with one.
3) Should do yes, would be interesting to see. Also this maybe of some use: http://forums.miui-dev.com/showthread.php?723-Arabic-RTL-Fix
4) Yes it does and also the oxygen hboot etc.
Any other questions, just holler

doc3000, why cant we use the native radio-app from stock u8860 Gingerbread?
I wander why the antutu score is so low.
someone in local Chinese forum has tested the Antutu score only reaches about 3400, lower than official rom's 3700 and another 2.3 MIUI honor's 4000(from U8800+ and kernel by Geno's CM7.2).
And I strongly prefer the overclocking function....

someone in local Chinese forum has tested the Antutu score only reaches about 3400, lower than official rom's 3700 and another 2.3 MIUI honor's 4000(from U8800+ and kernel by Geno's CM7.2).
And I strongly prefer the overclocking function....

it's your choice: you can use official 2.3 or chinese roms.
I prefer stability and smoothness of rom.

The GB FMRadio dosn't work on this ROM because CM7 kernels don't support FM (we don't have source code of U8860 2.3).
You have to use the latest version of the Spirit FM with the following settings:
- Settings>Regional Band>Your region
- Settings>Audio>Method>qdsp5v2 Analog
- Settings>Audio>Volume Ctrl Stream>7 - LG/Huawei (EnfAud)
Note: Spirit FM mutes your sound after using. You should reboot your phone.

I've created a MIUI port based on CM10 nigthlies. Feel free to give it a try and please let me know if there are issues with it.
Please keep in mind that all existing CM10 bugs apply here as well
iMilka's CM10 thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1968949
INSTALLATION
Follow the instruction explained @ iMilka's thread when flashing this port.
WARNING: Flashing a custom kernel might break a bunch of things if it comes with it's own initramfs
If You prefer a custom kernel, the following service needs to be added to the init,smdk4x12.rc file:
service shelld /system/xbin/shelld
class main
The easiest way to do it is by using dsixda's Android Kitchen. Unpack the boot.img and edit
the init.smdk4x12.rc file. You'll find it in the root of the boot.img-ramdisk folder.

How about posting your version on http://en.miui.com forum? Would be a huge userbase there

Someone please post a video, I'd love to see this in action. Don't have a note yet (would flash myself if I did..), but would love to see how MIUI looks on it.

Yep i've already pushed it, and Utacka has uploaded a fix somewhere in his thread.
By the way, please, report any problems with hardware (e.g. not working nfc/mic in video recording/sth else) in my CM10 thread - that will allow me to track problems easier.

i can confirm that NFC is working with patch. Maybe you can make a new build with last weeks MIUI version so people can enjoy theme support until this bug/"feature" is fixed.
Here is some more information on the theme issue:
http://droidviews.com/2012/beware-of-2-11-2-black-friday/
Installed today, nice so far.
After flashing Gapps I still don't have Gmail. Maybe I'll try to flash it again. Am I the only one here?
Hope Miui China will come up with a neat solutions for people outside China to use Themes outside of the miui theme market. But as MIUI is a company and provided MIUI absolutely free, it is completely OK that they implement a reliable business model. I don't complain...
Workarounds:
Camera limited to 5MP. Solution: flash 4.2Camera_t04.zip from here http://d-h.st/aIy

Wow, thanks!
Didn't know that google starts to push more and more apps from Gapps to the market: Calendar, Gmail, Maps, ... Soon we don't need Gapps anymore.
Bug:
Before I flashed MIUI I removed my ext-SDCard. Then I flashed MIUI and booted up my device. Then, while MIUI was running I inserted my ext-SDCard, it mounted successfully in MIUI as /storage/sdcard1/.
I can browse it with Solid Explorer, but the "Media Storage" Service does not index any Media from the SDCard. I have MP3s, Pictures and APKs on my ext-SDCard. But neither the Miui Music nor other Players are showing it.
Under Settings > Storage there is only "INTERNAL STORAGE" visible. The external SDCard isn't visible.
What I tried:
- Go to Settings > Apps > Media Storage > Force stop & Clear data, then reboot and wait 1 hour
- While phone is running open back cover and remove the ext-SDCard (system said: Removed storage unexpectedly) then insert the SDCard again,
Anyone with a similar problem or some tips to get my "External storage" back properly?

Thats very strange i havent got the same issue everything is working fine here. Did you do a factory reset and wipe system before flashing? And a wipe of dalvic cache and cache after flashing?
I didn't test the sdcard cause I don't have one yet. Will pick up one today and get back to you Did the CM10 file explorer display the external sdcard? If it doesn't then please post it in imilka's thread, thanks

3) 17 Hidden tips in MIUI Rom
Just found a good article on hidden tips in MIUI Rom. You can look at here

Like google plus not signing in yahoo mail not signing in laggayness is to much facebook issue solve by patch wifi signal drops every time
Sent from my Desire S using xda premium
Not signing in is probably a problem of /etc/hosts file. (and some entries added by miui?)
I had the same problem. After installing AdAway from market, activating it and rebooting, all my login problems are gone. Now i can login in facebook, google and others.
Probably removing manually some stuff (that was added by miui?) in /etc/hosts has the same effect.
Perhaps i was only lucky that installing AdAway did adjust the hosts file in the right way?

Why not Slim Gapps? They have turned out as savior at times for me. And they constantly keep updating the Gapps. Aren't Slim Gapps compatible with all ROMs?

I haven't tried Slim Gapps in CM neither I have tested builds form this particular thread. But last time when I flashed CM, I flashed PA and later Banks 7-2 min on CM 20140713 build and had no issues. I just follow the instruction written in the guidelines. alterd's thread recommends PA or Banks so I think PA will be safe bet.

4. If you see that your Latitude and Longitude are not Showing, then your GPS is not working.
5. For that case, 1st tap on the "Reset GPS"
6. Then Tap on the "Get Xtra Data"
7. This will take 5-10 mins of time to completing the fix. But make sure you are under open sky and You are Connected to Internet. To get the Xtra Data, the application will need Internet connection.
8. After a while when you will see that the application is showing your Latitude and Longitude, you will understand that your GPS has been fixed. You will never have to run this app ever again. From now on your GPS will get auto locked to your position.
