There are plenty of voice recording apps and a few apps that seem to be able to record phone calls. What I am looking for, though, is an app that will record whatever audio you're playing on your phone without recording your own voice or whatever. Like if I'm playing a radio app, is there a way to record that with a specific app? I know some radio apps have that feature built in, but I'm just trying to record any audio into an mp3 or something through an app. Having a hard time finding this specific type of app.
Here are some apps that I think which can help you:
Voice Memos
Voice Recorder
Audio Recorder
Just Press Record
iTalk Recorder Premium

Hi is there any apps out there for topaz that i can use to record long periods of time and has good quality sound? cus i wanna like record myself playin on my violin^^ thx
lol....
I just want it coz I like the sound of my own voice
Resco Audio Recorder v4.x (lastest is 4.6)
Playing the violin... I like the sound of that!
The recorder:
different recording formats and bitrate
gain control, which makes recorded sound as loud as you need.
..........
it doesnt work well on my set
Vito Audio Notes Touch
Vito Audio Notes Touch, Is great for this issue. it also has automatic voice gain control which is ideal to record the lowest voices.
the other thing i like with VAN is it doesn't record silence! so you can turn it on for a long time without hesitation!
My copies version is 1.03
Well the title says it all. The default voice recorder saves the files in a weird format and I want to record custom voicemail messages for my friends but they have to be mp3 format.
Anyone know a good app? I really don't want to have to convert anything kinda lookin for a app that can handle it.

Not sure of an app, but if you have people call your Google Voice number it has a built in feature to record conversations.

How could I stream sound (from an app) to act as if it's the recorded sound (on another app on the same phone)? I'm looking for switching the stream of the microphone from the actual hardware microphone to the internal sound of the phone.
Purpose:
I listen to podcasts (I use Pocket Casts). Sometimes there are spoken words I can't recognise. I need to have a voice recognition app (I use SpeechNotes) listen to the sound played from Pocket Casts so that I can know what were the words I missed.
More Info:
Android version: 6.0.1 (rooted with xposed installed).
Device: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Exynox (N910c)
If it is impossible to stream audio of podcasts app to the voice recognition app directly, perhaps you may stream it to an audio file, and then manage to feed the voice recognition app with that audio file. Good luck to you.
