Marmite is my suggestion. Make sure to get the CM version.

I still suggest you stay with stock CM kernel, like I did. It's optimized to work with the ROM so all your Advanced and Performance settings work without any glitches and issues.

i9023 here and i got reboots using stock CM10 kernel, marmite v7.0, and airkernel #251 when OC'ing.
Marmite's fastest on stock clock speeds. Haven't tried matr1x yet.
Edit: Matr1x is stable @ 1320mhz but gaming is so buggy i can't stand it.

There are two threads/ variations of faux kernels. One is for GB like this one and the other is for cm7 based. Use the other kernel 050b1 i think.

OK, I got it working. I flashed my old favorite Trinity kernel. I really didn't expect it to work, but apparently it does.
The Eaglesblood ICS release 3 came with Trinity Kernel and had UMS support They just updated to Supporting the V21Y baseband. going to try Harsh and see what happens

That would explain it then lol
I running T15-G2x-06022012 with CM7 RC3 OCed to 1400 with out issues
For Faux's 014b2 kernel, which do you recommend when running Kwes' modified stock ROM (v21y)? I see pre-UV and stock voltage versions. I'm leaning towards stock voltage, but is there a major advantage for the pre-UV? (I'm not even really sure what is meant by pre-UV -- pre-under voltage?)
Thanks!
EDIT: pre-UV is pre-under volted. From a little more reading, I found that pre-UV means the kernel has a -50mv UV already. So if using UV/OC tools and apps, you need to take into account that -50mv already.

Hopefully this explanation helps anyone else with a similar question.

Best kernel to go with CM10.

I just got this phone, and I'm liking it, is there a better kernel than the stock cm10 one? I plan on listening to music and using core features of the phone. Nothing fancy.
Also, mines a 4g if it makes a difference.

These kernels do not work. I think only marmite has a cm10 version. Cm10 did something stupid that breaks other kernels.

Everyone has their own favorite when it comes to kernels. Ask 5 people and get 5 answers.
MATR1X for stability
AIR for features gov choices (I use AIR cause I like the blue color really gives the LCD a rich deep look)
Marmite good all around people rave about it
Trinity for performance
I'm sure I'm missing some but these are the ones I have flashed
You can't really go wrong just start flashing and see which one fits your usage best.

Trinity didn't Sitwell with cm10, marmite did however. No biggie. Works fine. Although the. "Stock one" had the color tweaks, likened that.

Only marmite supports cm10 AFAIK, you can't just use any kernel with cm10.
To get cm10 kernel back just wipe cache/dalvik and reflash ROM with gapps,

My apologies, I was in a hurry and did not think the topic was CM10 specific. At the moment other then the CM Kernel I do believe Marmite is the only supported CM kernel and I believe that has stipulations. You can ask the dev bedalus. He is very helpful.
Another question, in the update script is data wiped? Or does it just flash system?

Holy cows. Shadowgun dead zone is running so smooth on shadowrom ICS with this tweak. Look at my antutu. And I used stock kernel
combination of aokp jb alpha 2 and castagnait 7.3
vm.vfs_cache_pressure is 20 (seems to interfere with some other tweaks)
phone is laggy. so are the games

You need to remove all tweaks in system/ etc/ init.d except for the two stock ones. You also have to install busy box.
didn't have busybox. now i do. but still the same.
in init.d there were only the two stock ones.
What about cm10 has anyone tested it?
I have no idea what kind of magic does it use, but it really made games smoother. I'm impressed.

Are you using castagnit kernel? You have to use stock kernel. If it still lags then read the thread again for instructions

ICS and JB are not fully working and since you want a stable one I'd stay away from those.

The only way that will work is on Adampk's and Mazout360's CM10.1 Rom Build 7 which is the only rom that has full HWA to make the camera work properly. Downside is that the Radio (Cellular Network) will NOT work. This means no calls, SMS, data, etc. Anything to do with your Mobile Network will not work.

If you have problems with Faux kernels try Trinitys. I could never get Faux's kernels to play nice with my phone and while they ran smoother the random reboots, black screens and having to keep phone from sleeping just killed it for me.

guys I think the best rom is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1420972 that one for me! At least the developer tells the specs of the rom clearly... I just did not understand how to install v6supercharger, it seems hard to do.
I currently have KashaMalaga (jb 4.1.1.) with harsh kernel 1.4 GHZ everything's looking pretty stable except camera ( no 1080p ) well I'll go with that for a while than maybe install above rom and hopefully v6supercharger
I installed Hellfire cm7 GB 2.3.7. with v6 supercharger. All fine but screen sensitivity is really low.
