that firmware is old and base on less more complete cm10 port... even the developer of the firmware has abandoned that one.... i'm suggesting you go for a better one like CM10 port itself or Paranoid Android which is better and more complete.

May be the MTP is not click therefore the PC will not recognize it as a drive.
You can check it in the "storage" inside settings. Click the button on right top corner. You will see some options. Make sure MTP is click.
It is better to use the Paranoid rom. I'm using my own build 2.55. The wifi and gps(more than 4 sats.) work fine for me. I think the official pa_6800 from Androidguide.fr will release soon. You may check the following link:

[Q] Kyorarom USB problem

Hi All,
I've playing with a number of Roms and afew of them have the same problem in which the Sdcard cannot be accessed by the USB cable while trying to update it through my PC.
At present I'm using Kyorarom's and that has the same problem.
Does any one know why this is, and is there a fix for this problem.
Many thanks
Whimick
Try using an app called DualmountSD also don't forget to enable USB debugging

HI
When i face this issue, i close all apps with task manager, clear ram, wait for sd to scan till 100% and attach the cable again.
Easiest and best way out is to use DualMount SD app.
its one of the best app to use, you dont have to then wait for card to get unmounted and then wait again after mounting to let scan complete before being able to use it with the lag.

[Q] Desire HD crash

Hey everyone.
I got a HTC Desire HD back home and when i start the phone it get to HBOOT screen. It all started when i used this ACI hack thing where i installed Gingerbread and now it feels like my Desire is quite dead.
i tried almost everything : reboot, reboot in recovery, flash a new ROM, and so on i wondered if theres someone who could give a noob tip on how to fix this ?
You could try factory restoring it... if that doesn't work you could plug it into your PC and format the drive (if possible) other than that I can't help sorry dude

If you can't find anything anywhere on xda then go to the htc official site and you could try contacting them. They're probably the people who would know the most! Good luck dude

Not sure what you are asking sir, I have installed these, which means I have either tested or ran the ROMs in the Dev. as far as sd card issues, there is none, now for CM9, the mount is different than Gingerbread...EMMC which means: Embedded Multi Media Card, vice the GB "ext SD" label.

[Q] SD and SIM problems

I was wondering can someone help me fix my SD and SIM problems. The phone wont read or even detect a network since the SIM and SD are not working. I followed the instructions here http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Samsung+Galaxy+S+4G+Teardown/4977/1. But still to no avail. Can someone try and help me fix my Galaxy S 4G? Wifi and other features do work.
There are people having the same problems aswell. http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s-4g/376857-sd-root-issues-galaxy-s-4g.html
I did star getting this issue after I re-flashed Cyanogen 9-20120830-UNOFFICIAL-Galaxy4gmtd 4.0.4 version
When I turn Debuggin on or off, it detects my phone but rapidly disappears.

Ahhh I see lol I seen no one else had posted so I figured I would tell my experience. This is wayyyy better than cwm by far at least for the blaze. Cwm seems to have problems flashing on our phone. I have tried many different versions from official to unofficial of cwm and all of them wouldn't correctly format the partitions.

TWRP and CWM are both custom recoveries that have the same functionality performed in unique ways. Each person has their own preference. Before today, I've never used anything except for CWM (with the exception of putting CM10 on my wife's blaze, it was some weird recovery I've never seen on any other device), but I'll be giving it a try.
Just about anything you can do in CWM can be done in TWRP. There are no "CWM ROMs", there are ROMs that are flashed using a custom recovery (such as CWM or TWRP).
---edit---
After re-reading, I think I might appear to come off as a ****, and if I do, I'm sorry. Not trying to, just helping to educate you
Android modding can be a lot to take in and it's better to squash bad or mistrue views early than to try to re-learn later. I know that part from experience.
Never hesitate to ask anything

The partitions interest me. Some ROMs it is emmc for internal and sdcard for external.
Others have internal SD listed as sdcard and external listed as external_SD.
anyways, I think twrp team implemented mtp mode as well as mass storage and you may have to install new drivers or try a different ROM.

i know CM10 has sdcard as internal and external_sd as the external. TWRP has emmc as internal and external_sd as the external, so they share the same external_sd mount points. however, neither internal nor external shows up on my PC when I mount USB storage. I normally use MTP mode in CM10, but mass storage works as well.
Inside TWRP, when mounting, nothing changes in Device Manager in windows. DM recognizes a device was plugged in, but there is nothing listed as a media or storage device
