I would just like to let you know about the site i am building for ROM developers and the community. I am trying to build a repository of all ROM's for all devices in an organised manner. This will allow the users to find ROM's faster, and for developers to push their updates to users faster.
I am providing all recognised developers a few other developers with free ROM and addition files hosting. The system allows you to keep your ROM's up to date, with change logs etc. All downloads will be unlimited, with no waiting times.
I've got a few developers on board but it would be great if you could get on board too and submit your ROM's.
To get started, just head over to http://romhut.com and choose a device to add the ROM too.

I connected with Google account but I didn't knew default password so I set the forgot password button, and remade my password and configured my account.. still waiting for developer status tho

i saw this a few days ago and it looks like it's going to be very interesting. i'm going to try it out because i hate having to use a stylus
Alot of what they are trying to accomplish has been done already via WAD and Mortscript.
Do not get your hopes up.
- You can not register in the forums since no activation mails are being sent out.
- If you report this to the only e-mail address I have found on the page you will get no reply.
- If you try to get in contact with the persons behind the project and the homepage you will get no reply
- No one is answering the comments made on the page
- No betaversions has been published as far as I understand it, only screenshots
This does not mean that I think that the whole thing is a scam or anything like that - just that for a project that is actively seeking betatesters they for sure are making it hard (impossible) for people to actually getting involved. Not to mention the fact how they handle bugreports for their own homepage.
I had no problems registering in the forums there, and the creators answered some technical questions yesterday. This project is very young, looks like it was only started this month. Give it some time, and if they decide to check this site out, I hope it can lead to a good thing and not have them be put off by scorn and doubt.
i had no problems registering either; i do not beleive it is a scam, they did not say they are going to charge people for the software/application.
Congrats! Inform the ones running the show then that many visitors have not been able to register since they do not reply to any e-mail or provide with any information as on why things are not working. And no, this is not just me - check the comments - there are a large number of people not being able to register.
And in my book - any project that does not respond to bugreports is in trouble.

Hi Friends,
Anyone is experiencing a instability in Direct Push / Active Sync services from Google?
Everything was working fine until day before yesterday.
What I've tried?
- Delete account, and set up again.
- Disable and Enable Direct Push in ComManager.
Other services work perfectly. Internet, MMS, etc.
Note: Isn't IMAP Service, but ActiveSync protocol (aka DirectPush)
Google could add the "blessed" Google Sync on the Dashboard.

Trying not to be too defensive here, but I've made multiple posts to this thread and other threads acknowledging that we're actively working on improving Google Sync. I have also made proactive posts for the true outages that we've had.
I'm sorry to hear that many of you are still having problems, and we're investigating. We pushed a new release out yesterday that should help with some of the issues we've been seeing (I'll try and post more details on that release later today).
I am working with our Enterprise team to make sure we have appropriate communication with our Google Apps users. Premier users are welcome to use the other communication channels they have available if you need individual attention. Our status dashboard - to date - has meant to cover the desktop versions of our products, but we're working on clarifying where Google Sync fits in and hope to have it listed on the official SLA agreement soon as well (you'll note that it's not currently listed there now).
I appreciate everyone's patience as we continue to troubleshoot!

to make myseld more familiar with some of the new HC/ICS features (ActionBar, Fragments, ViewPager, etc...) i made a new app.
This time is it something to make you laugh or kill boring hours waiting for something - "Quotes" (not the final name)...

Some background info:
The backend is done with Google AppEngine + Jersey (RESTful webservice).
All the quotes are saved in the AppEngine datastore.
The app aggregates the view counts of all views in the internal SQLite database and submits those aggregated values once every day (to prevent massive write operations on the AppEngine datastore).
Ratings are submitted instantly.
The app has an auto update feature which will be executed once every day by default (interval configurable and you can also turn it off completely). This update process retrieves only those quotes that have been changed since the last update. They are transmitted with a GZIP compression to save your bandwidth!

yes that's normal on first launch. it downloads all the data. You can configure the interval of auto updates in the settings (or disable it if you prefer manually updating the data).

hi,
i agree i have not been able to give much love to this baby of mine. however there are large number of changes that are happening now.
including change in google app store policy which might make all the tools listed in this app as non conforming and lead to there removal i am trying to find a way out for the scenario.
As of now i am trying to setup a aptoide repository and see if i can get permission from all the tool owners to upload a version there.
