I don't know if this is ARMv6 problem or not, but webkit is VERY laggy in ICS and JB ROMs for our device. For example, in youtube, video should play in frame, but it's not, you've got to switch to fullscreen mode to watch it.
Another problem, with css and js animations, they are just slow and jaggy. IDK, if this is webkit problem, or ARMv6 problem, or whole Android problem...
Can all this this be fixed?
Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone,
new to the forum but not new to the world of android, I encounter a little trouble on my tab galaxy.
Simply put: when I want to play video on youtube or other flash site (using a user
agent desktop), playback of the videos is horribly slow jerky in window or full screen ...
My question is there a playerflash (APK) optimized for the processor tab, or is related to the version of
rom?
I have used on several browser, and some version of flash available.
This happens where you are?
Thank you for your help because this is one reason for choosing this tablet vs iPad would be a shame more
on a toshiba with the rom dexter 1.1 was pretty fluid.
I insist to use the site a flash video is not mobile version
Hi,
Is there any way to hack WebM support into the Android 2.2 browser or is that just impossible? I just find it really annoying and limiting that if say I'd want to check a video on youtube/vimeo/whatever I need an app for that.
My current phone (zte blade) does not support flash player nor do I want to install it, but 2.3 wich does have WebM support is a bit unstable unfortunatly.
Any suggestions?
From what I've read, we shouldn't really see much of a difference with HW acceleration in ICS when compared to Honeycomb on the transformer. But I just wanted someone to confirm perhaps?
1. I heard that Honeycomb already has HW acceleration enabled. Does that mean that scrolling between homescreens and other actual honeycomb components won't be any smoother? For instance, launching the apps launcher could be a little less choppy.
2. I actually find the stock browser to be ridiculously fluid and responsive, however, there are many apps such as OfficeSuite and other office programs and pdf readers (except for MyLibrary), which are substantially less smooth. After occasionally toying around with office apps on the iPad I begrudgingly am forced to work with these choppy apps on my transformer. So, what gives? Clearly the tablet is capable of fluidity as with the stock browser. Why doesn't this translate to these other apps I use? Will ICS help with this?
honeycomb hwaccelerates system apps ics will allow you to force hardware acceleration on everything and also be more efficent with memory than honeycomb
i would like to know if hardware acceleration will be enabled for videos
DicePlayer has HW accelerated video playback.

If you want to know about this crap, I suggest you read Dianne Hackborn's G+ stream. I'd link here but the app doesn't seem to support that >_<.

hi mates,
I am having big problems running video files on Opera mobile and sometimes on Dolphin browser... It could run almost all videos on GB ...
i tried mobile and desktop mode but even on a YouTube video it just turns BLACK where the video is supposed tobe and is not clickable...
I have latest Adobe flash player plus latest opera browser on ICS..
Is anyone else having this issue?
Noone has this issue??.....
No flash on ICS + Opera
I'm also having this problem of Flash not working in Opera in LordClockan's ICS 1.5, default browser was giving me 'Unfortunately not working' error message so couldn't try that so was wondering if anyone else has same problem or if there's a solution. I have latest version of Flash 11.1 which is supposed to work in ICS. Thanks.
Opera doesn't support flash on ics, yet - maybe never. Default browser supports flash a little but is flakey.

Using Maxthon browser or several ip camera players and nothing works. Any help greatly appreciated.
Do you have flash installed? It kinda works for me, I see the babies but then it crashes right away. I tried firefox and the default browser, they both do the same... so I googled a bit and it seems that Google made it way worse with 4.2.2 for flash support.

You can get flash from the adobe page, in the archived section. What Android version is Rev 3.6?
Thank you very much for the info. It almost plays for me also. I believe the ROM is ICS. After many hours of searching I believe the problem is the Shock Wave player they use. I can't find any flavor of Android that can view Shock Wave .asp streams.
A friend of mine said that Dolphin browser had shockwave support built-in, could be worth a shot.
