Im thinking I can HDMI out of my phone and convert to AV for input into my truck receiver. Has anyone tried this yet?

What needs to be developed? CM7 includes HDMI and BT mouse/KB support. I don't have a micro-HDMI cable or a BT KB or I'd try it. lol
This is not android, but an actual linux distro
Is there "TV out" for skyrocket like the vibrant had? If no is there an app that I can use so I can watch stuff off of my phone onto my television?

Look up mhl to hdmi , im not 100% certain the sky rocket supports this connection but other s2 models do so it's worth a try

go to monoprice.com and get the MHL to HDMI adapter. It works great, and is half the price of the Samsung one. You will have to also have your charger plugged in at the same time, though, otherwise it won't work.

Yes, if you buy or build the module needed, because our smartphone does not have infrared onboard.

Only the app no You must go to IRdroid site and buy or take the schematics to build it
I know that the app by itself can't work. iI asked if our phone is compatible with the hardware.
You have two options in the site of IRdroid, one that you plug it in headphone jack, and other that works with bluetooth either them should work.
But has anyone tried this and can confirm that it works,or not?

OP, not going to happen unless microsoft include the hardware and software to support the same streaming tech the shield will be using on PC, and thats a definite no as the xbox one will be using AMD tech not NVidia.
