Hello All,
I have a LG p500, which after reading blogs about updating the ROM, i tried pressing Vol Down + Home Key+Power button. After this the phone got resetted. I had rooted the phone earlier on stock lg rom. i had done previously some stupid mistakes and deleted the lg home.apk and the keyboard. So now i am without keyboard, but have access to calls, messaging and internet. But i am not able to download any apks because i am not able to put in my credentials for google.
Please help me, i am a noobie i understand that, shouldnt have done this also. Please help me installing the keyboard atleast.

you can find keyboard apks here, just search for them and you can install it with adb (adb push keyboard.apk /system/app/). you should do the same with a launcher (adw is open source so it should be easy to find it). sorry but I can't provide exact links now, but I hope I could help you

i am not able to open settings in my system as i dont have a launcher. so turning on the Debugging enviornment is a question. Also i am total noobie who doesnt know how to use the ADB and how to install that correctly. Please help. i bought this phone after saving a long time. please
DISCLAIMER: Please note that this guide contains information gathered from all the HTC ChaCha (Status) sections, which means that a lot of users have contributed to this. Step 1:
Go to This Link and Unlock your device With HTCDev Unlock Method. Don't forget to click thanks.

Step 2:
Download the attachments
- Extract PH06IMG.zip in the folder you used for HTCDev Unlock.
- recovery.img should appear there.
- Hold CTRL+Shift and right click in that Folder and open Command Prompt
- Go to Step 3
Step 3:
- Go to Settings -> Power -> Uncheck Fast boot
- Turn off your phone
- Press and hold Volume Down button and press Power button
- Select Use Volume keys to highlight FASTBOOT
- Press Power Button
Step 4:
- After you're in FASTBOOT connect your phone with your PC
- Go to Command Prompt you opened in Step 2
- Type: adb devices
- If you get your device listed there, you are going the right way then
- Type: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
- Done now you have Clock WorkMod Recovery Installed in your phone.
Step 5:
- Download latest superSU flashable zip from this link Download
- Put the downloaded file in your SD Card.
- Perform 3 Sub steps in Step 3 again.
- Hightlight recovery and select with Power button.
- Select: Install zip from SD Card
- Locate the downloaded file and press enter
- Hightlight Yes and press enter.
- Congrats You have rooted Your Phone Successfully.
All these things are collected from HTC Chacha Section. I do not take the credit. I just collected the data and defined it in a simple way.
B'cuz when i first tried to Root my HTC ChaCha which came with S-ON. I disappointed to see that S-ON is impossible without XTC Clip. But then tried out many things and finally found out that way to root HTC Chacha S-ON..

R u sure it will work on s-on....i just bought the htc chacha two days back...just want to root it...my endroid version is android2.3.3......its showing S-ON in bootloader...
Just unlock the damn boot loader and you can root it.

I joined just a few days ago and I can tell you that you can root the ChaCha with S-ON. It's a matter of reading the guides and tutorials, they are already readily available.
Dear Step 5 is not working for me..
IN CWM-based Recovery
when click on install from zip sd card its showing an cap with circle
please help to root it now...

May be you aren't doing it d ryt way... highlight install zip from sd card and press Enter key on physical QWERTY board of ChaCha..

Don't use the power button in CWM. Use the enter key, as stated above.

Which ROM u r using now?
i m using stock rom..exchange server is working fine now..i think problem wid d server..i dnt want any custom rom coz i had deleted unwanted application via link2sd & get more internal memory...having around 18 application & games..its showing 80mb now....

You can try installing it from the Market.

Update your binaries in superuser as well. Settings -> Su binary.

"Recently google gave a few devices the feature to cast your screen to chromecast, sadly opo isn't among the list.

Edit the /system/build.prop
Find the line where says ro.product.device
Change "A0001" to "hammerhead" (without quotes)

So yesterday in order to delete bloatware,i end up deleting system apps(some of them).And i dont know which ones.As of now-
1-i cant install/uninstall anything.
2-middle soft home bottun is not working
3-When holding power button,only 'power off' and 'restart' options coming.
Certainly some more features might be missing.I want to know what should i do.
If you know which apps are behind these ,tell me the names of those system apps and i would appreciate if you could tell me how to install those apps.Or if there is any other way,do tell.I appreciate your help.

Hey guys,i am new on this forum and i have really big problem.I was looking for solutions here but could not find it,so i hope you will help me.
My phone is Lg L fino,rooted ofc,i did not try to flash any custom rom, only thing i installed is xposed,when i tried to change my soft keys bar.
First time i tried it,on boot it gave me same error but after few tries and pulling off the battery it booted succesfully.Then my phone started to reeboot costantly.I unistalled xposed and everything seemed work fine.But after few days,i tried to boot into safe mode and got this error again.The biggest problem is that i can not access to neither recovery or download mode.At fourth or fifth time i got purple screen with this message:Board Rev.:1.0
Ram dump mode.
Option : SD card ram dump mode.
Push below files to sdcard before test.
rdcookie.txt, rtcookie.txt
Please do folliwing action.
1) Ram dump Mode. Please connect USB.
2) Get the ram dump image using QPST Configuration.
3) If sdcard ram dump enabled just wait for reboot.
4) Collect ramdump files from your pc or sdcard.
5) Send e-mail to [email protected]
But i restarted it and I can not find it anymore.Since i am not so good at android roms,modes and stuff(I am begginer),i would really appreciate if someone could help me.
