Very sad to read about stuff like this. When things get big and money becomes involved people change.

Yeah, I just feel so sorry for all those involved, a lot of unneeded stress

As a big fan of the CyanogenMod ROM for the Android platform, we decided to create and dedicate this website to the author of the ROM!
Wow, that's really screwed up(can't say what I really want to lol.) Hopefully everything gets worked out.

Just curious cause sometimes one is created as new items are mentioned and based on popularity
I, TF, sent this on behalf of my owner
Probably will at some point if the index is any indication, and I believe there is a place somewhere to ask for it, or so I once read a post saying as much.

God i hope so !!!!!!
I own a TF101 and it would be nice to come to ask a question or find something without either wading through posts about the prime or the prime screwing up my search within the forum.

My gf is taking a new position and will be needing to keep track of employee notes regarding jobs to do, performance, things they discuss, etc. For 11 separate stores. She initially decided to just pack 11 legal type notepads, but I'm suggesting we get her a tablet instead. She's familiar with Windows and uses Outlook for scheduling, email, notes, etc. I don't want any Windows tablet, sticking with Android, and have been eyeing the Samsung 10.1.
I'm looking for suggestions from others who use theirs for more than angry birds, on the tab as well as others that are good alternatives. Doesn't have to be brand new top of the line, older suggestions are appreciated as well. I'll probably be browsing the market here for options as well.
Thanks in advance guys.

I appreciate the opinion on the pads. These were the options we were looking at, with the Asus being first preference.
I guess I'm on to the ROM forums to about customizations and upgrades.
on edit
I guess since it's listed "Resolved" everyone must agree with your assessment. LOL.

TF Prime! It's the way to go
i don't mean to rush the CM team, but is there any word of anyone working on a port for this device?
Afair one of the devs said he ordered a tf700. It will take some time, but we will get it. Patience young friend

Yes one guy is working on it.
I don't have the link to the G+ post though.
And I hope he works on 10.

I read a post of Dalingrin, in a similar thread. He hopes to start working on CM for the tf700 in the next couple of weeks. Having used his work on a few different device this is very, very good news for us.

He just put out word he is going to return his TF700 because of several issues. Bad luck. I guess we still will have CM on our devices, but it may take that much longer...

there are kernels for the nexus 7 that uses the same cpu and gpu we have is it possible to convert/run those kernels on our tablet?
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/30129-kernel-nexus-7-cifsnfsusb-otg-gpu-oc-cpu-oc-072912/
What would be the benefit?
Oc uv teeaks governors... Same as the tf101... tf201... I hate stock factory kernels... It sux that a device that came out after ours has kernels and more roms/support..

Yeah, well...the one is a extremely popular mainstream product backed up by google and the other one is a niche product...I've chosen it nevertheless because it fits my needs better. But take it as an opportunity to try that yourself and don't blame the few devs for this device
I don't know enough about android development to start cooking kernels but the time may come

Not blaming anyone... Just didn't know if it is easy to port because it's the same cpu/gpu...

i've tried making my own kernel, I believe i succeeded in doing all the changes necessary for an overclockeable kernel, i'm not 100% sure because i followed the source from custom tf201 kernel and implemented the necessary changes into our source but i was never able to compile it therefore i never tested it.

It wasn't my intention to offend you, excuse me if I did so, Admiral2145!
Charle692: I'm still at the beginning of learning but maybe I can help you with testing once you have something to flash Still, thanks for your effort!

nice, I love JB on this thing, any more optimization is fine by me
Sounds good!
i want to hear that so thank you so much
Hats off to Asus, for keeping the updates coming. Some OEM are still trying to get Jelly Bean 4.1 rolled out. Meanwhile Asus is setting up to push 4.2 to much of the Transformer line.
Really glad I got this Infinity. Nothing but good times and updates without much delay since day 1.
:good:
If it's coming to prime now. We won't see it for another several months.

Prime's pretty much the 'beta testers'. they did it with the tf300 and 4.1, too. Will probably be a while until we get it.

Maybe we will have an alternative way to unlock the bootloader...since a lot of people reported (including me) this unknown error and are stuck with genuine Asus rom...
Hope for this soon, my girlfriend likes to use my tablet and my nephews are reaching an age where I can almost trust them with a $600 tablet, having individual app lists and settings would be great

Yeah around my house it's compared to going through someone's wallet or purse! Rude!
im not sure how i feel about having the nav buttons in the center of the screen. also i saw some video of the multitasking, seems to take up a strip running in the center(horizontally) across the screen instead of alone the left side vertically, definitely not a fan of that look.
this multiuser feature is nothing new really, have been using it through an app called "SwitchMe" for a long time and it works great: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fahrbot.apps.switchme. there's also a thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1807524
I want Android 4.2.1 to come to this tablet by December 10th because that's when I am getting the tablet. Also, Android 4.2.1 because Google forgot add December to the people's app in Android 4.2

I wouldn't worry too much...if there are that many issues, they will be addressed. The last thing they want is to lose all credibility while they're spending more money developing key lime pie. Perception is a key component of how valuable a company's stock is, and I am sure they realize that. Just my opinion.
