I'm not sure if it is caused by the app, but every time I click something on the app it opens a porn site in the browser.
I just discovered this so it might be caused by something else but I'd like to know if others have the same problem.
Typing this message worked normally anyway

Doesn't sound right, surprised no-one has responded. Try delete the app and then make sure you are grabbing the legit version from the play store. Check reviews down bottom. Also try installing adblock from the play store to see if that helps.
Please use this thread for XDA app issues, thanks. Thread closed.

the xda app force closes and lags like crazy using dolphin HD. what do you guys use to browse xda on the transformer?
Try changing the Xda style in your browser to xda classic. You can find it at the bottom of the page.

I actually bought the donation xda app because of this issue. Works flawless and besides I wouldn't have this tablet if it wasn't for xda.

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but anyone else having this problem? I can get the app to open, see the list of threads and view them if I am NOT logged in, but if I log in, the app closes as soon as I try to view a thread. IS this just a known issue and I am not aware of it because I am new to the TF?
FYI, I am running the latest version of Revolver by gnufabio

Same issue and i'm running KRAKD, using browser instead of app and works fine.
Rather like using app though but oh well, maybe a fix will come out if enough ppl asking for it.
I use Tapatalk HD on my TF101. The app runs like a dream.

Just curious, does the new Market seem a lot faster for you guys too?
http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/12/14/download-android-market-3-4-4/
Just download and install. No root needed either. Seems much better. Also looks better on my Tab than the older version.
Nice. Can't wait to check it out later.

How do I install this? Should I manually push the apk with root explorer for it to work? I tried regular install but it doesn't install.
Update: I manually pushed it with root explorer and it worked. Thx for the tip.

I would push/replace, clear dalvik and reboot.
I just installed like any other apk... No problem
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
I simply downloaded it... clicked on the completed download... then had the option to install... went straight to the market and checked the version, no issues at all.
Renamed and pushed no problem. Def faster.
I hope this fixes the "insufficient space" bug on our phones.
Noticeably faster for me.

Mine just did. And did it without any questions asked, stealthily... which shows that Google has total control over our smartphones and I don't like it.

when it comes to the market, it only updates when it's open. it's the only app that does it that way. all other apps will show in the notifications. if I'm wrong, please let me know, but I don't think that's the case.

How do you know that this is the ONLY app?
But anyway, my point is if Google can do it on Android platform it does not matter with one app or many.
PS: off-topic, Google Map subscribes to bunch of intents, so it would be launched when you turn-on screen, WiFi etc... I would like start application when I press app icon... There are no other way to opt-out other then disable Map in pm.
Google maps can be stopped by using the app autostarts. All those apps that start by themselves when you do something, ie reboot phone connect to wifi ect... no longer plague me. True, I just delete most of them, but there are some I actually use (like maps and Gmail).
Unfortunately I can no longer find the exact app I use in the market, though I'm sure there are others that do the same thing. If anyone would like the apk for the one I use just let me know and I can post it next time I'm on my laptop.

Autostarts is a paid app in the market.
If you found the developer posted it for free on XDA, please link to that... otherwise this breaks XDA rules.

My bad go back and see my previous posting, I didn't see it on the market when I looked last week. I just checked again and your right, it is still there. I'm not at my laptop now. Either need to have a mod delete my post or I'll do it tonight when I'm on the computer again.

You can't change anything since it's within the app itself. I have that issue on ICS too. It's just an error on Microsoft's part, our device is more than capable to run the app if Kinectimals runs like butter. Just hang in there buddy, it'll get sorted out soon.
Can I change my build.prop to make it work
Sent from my Kindle Fire using xda premium

No changing your build.prop does not fix it to the best of my knowledge. I believe it is a screen size/resolution problem, I believe they will address it when they update the app. If I hear differently I will let you know.

I have gede's ROM v1.55 installed on my KF. And I've the same problem. I am greeted by this message:
"Sorry, you'll need to browse to xbox.com for great Xbox LIVE experiences. This app won't work well enough on this device."
Other devices are experiencing the same issue -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-1711315.html
According to XboxSupport Twitter account: The app is not supported for tablets at this time
Smart Glass
Will the smart glass app work with tablets
in the advertisement for smart glass they show a tablet
We won't know until it comes out.

Mean stock JB ? well I'm on GN and yes it works (but some avatar accesories are missing guess MS is working on the app to improve compatibilty, but it's weird that some devices enought powerfull to run it don't succeed...)
Seems the disabling Books and Movies in stock phone doesn't stick for me. Anyone else see this?

Yea I've had the same problem. Some people are able to freeze it but I've tried on my last s3 and this replacement one. It'll freeze then as soon as I restart there defrosted. Its weird.
Tap'n
Same problem here, I even tried disabling them on another non rooted phone.
I can't imagine any problems from uninstalling them, but I just got used to freezing them on reboot or just leaving them alone.
Glad I'm not the only one having this issue.

Virus? Not enough information to tell you. Sounds fishy to me. Check which app is consuming the data.
Yeah I looked at the app thing and I tried a virus scan and there is none. The notification hasn't showed up for a few hours now. And a search of the phone yesterday brought up the file and I deleted it hoping the message wouldn't show up again but it was there this morning. Google was no help. Now I am using a system monitor to see if it is an app causing this phenomenon.
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda app-developers app
When did it start? Where did you get the device from? Is it a knock-off China phone?
It started 1.5 daze ago. Yeah I imagine the phone is from China like everything else is, but it was bought through koodo. Maybe they did this? Maybe a conspiracy in the works? Or it's this rom I got on here, CM7 I just thought it was an odd thing to notify me about over and over. We'll see what happens. Thank you from China:beer:
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda app-developers app
Ureka! Easy downloader pro was the culprit. I deleted the 0 byte completed file. Now hopefully I am watch.bin free.
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda app-developers app
Oh, if you flashed your own ROM, then I wouldn't worry about factory-installed spyware.
Keep an eye on it. If it doesn't come back, you're probably ok. Pirated apps (if present) could also be a source of problems, though.
