you don't get viruses in Android. All you get are bad apps, called malware. and those are not like your regular windows viruses.
You probably have a failed SD-Card. Try another card, and see if this happens again.

If you do manage to root your device, you could use my app to see if you can free up some memory.

thanks for the help but we all know that there is no way to root wildfires with hboot 1.01 yet. excluding the xtc clip method though. i'm just looking for a way to free up spaces on my internal memory.
ok bro i c your problem but u cant free up much space unless u root..
well the least thing u can do is
1. uninstall apps from your sd card..
2. use app2sd to move moveable apps to sd card
3. go to sd card.. find any folders with the name of softwares that u deleted and delete those folders..
thats all u can do bro..
GOOD DAY
OK you wont be able to free up a lot of space but its better than nothing.
1. uninstall any apps that you use rarely
2. delete the cashes of the apps you want to keep.
3. delete you message history.
4. delete your call logs and history.
5. move any media e.g music videos photos to your SD card.
6. when you do install new apps make sure to move them to SD card.
this should clear some space possibly enough to stop the message appearing stating that phone memory is low.
this is a common and well known problem with the HTC Wildfire
If this helps please press thanks
Hi to all . I have a little problem : i flashed my captivate with some roms and now there are folders on sd , that in computer , connected on mass storage , are not shown . I can enter on phone , them are present on sd memory but on pc are not appear . What can i do ?
Sounds like a driver problem. Or, could be a bad flash. Just see if you can reflash(try master clearing and starting fresh) and see if any of those two help.
With a format of sd i can solve this ? I am thinking on this instead of flashing again .
if you format the sd it will wipe EVERYTHING so make sure yoou have all te stuff you want backed up to another place before you do it.
and yes it should work for the reason above, it wipes everything so those files that don't show up won't show up anywhere. cause they will be gone.
Thats i'm thinking . Ty guys .
I havesamsung galaxy s Gt I9003,It has a strange situation.when it is restored to factory settings, it does not go back to basic settings but it still has the previous applications installed.Even user account still exists. When installed applications are uninsatlled, they come back after some time..Same is the case with user account that it cannot be removed.I have inserted no external memory card.i connected phone to pc and start usb debugging..i formatted phone internal usb storage. But most strange thing is that nothing is deleted in this storage although computer says that drive is formatted successfully.I reconnect the phone to the computer and look everything is still there,,,even after mannualy deleting files ie songs photos, they are back again....What kind of fault is this?
Most important is that a virus is spread from phone internal usb to my whole hard disk of computer which i cleared by usuing kaspersky,,I also scan phone usb storage..,kaspersky detects virus and deletes it..But it is still in there..
And last but not least,,I fllashed it with all versions of Froyo and gingerbread but that bloody user account and his applications are still there..Can you believe this, everything is intact in phone usb even after formatting it in recovery mood.
Final thing, actually no application run on this phone.if it is started,an error message is popped that" application(---) has stopped unexpectedly.please try again".This handset has no warranty.
Please somebody help

I would suggest you to try and do a factory reset once more from settings . If that also doesn't work then u can do a hard reset . There's a guide somewhere by Adi_Pat which shows how u can do a hard reset. There is a small button beside the camera for the hard reset . Let me see if i can find the link for you .
EDIT : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1411768
Hard reset is to recover a soft bricked phone . May be u can ignore this for now.
One more thing i would suggest is to flash stock from odin . Start afresh from kpe using repartition and pit files . That should do the trick. And an advice is dont use the virus infected machine to flash . Try with a different machine and report back .
try this code in dialer

Thank you brother for your reply.
I have tried your advised trick six times but it did not help.I flashed it with Froyo DXKF1 and then with gingerbread KPE.As before, when phone is started after flashing, five or six messages pop up automatically about various applications. These messages are like this one.
"Sorry! The application Flowers live Wallpaper(process com.parindeyapps.flowers) has stopped unexpectedly.please try again"
Same messages appear about other applaications eg Vault,Skype etc..
No external memory card is present in phone.
And,i have described in first post about virus..This virus is present in phone internal usb storage, not in the pc.It infected the pc after connecting phone to it..Kaspersky cleared this virus from pc but not from phone.
Same sa Before
no brother,,this code did not help..same situation after rastarting
Hiya Big problem hope someone can help before i smash it lol
I have a polarod MIDC801 tablet android 4.0.4 here is my problem :
One day i downloaded root checker on it to see if it was rooted and it was , turned it off and the next day turned it back on realizing everything that was installed apps and the rest was deleted even Play store !!! and it's nowhere to be found either! I have tried downloading it off google as an APK and send it straight to the tablet from pc and it then tells me NO space but it doesn"t have anything installed on it at all ! i have done a hard reset and factory reset wiping the cache as well but still same problem ! I have gone in the storage option in settings and it shows me internal storage full but it's all the tablet's apps the ones you can't move or uninstall when i try to install something on the tablet it keeps trying to install it on that storage instead of the other one i also have on it that is called memory internal storage and that one is empty but can't move them to there and i also have an sd card in it .. so can't download Play store to get an app to help me or send it from pc to tablet bcos of no space problem, another thing, when i turn the tablet off and restart it , it keeps deleting everything like my google account i keep setting up in settings or saved wifi passwords weird aye !!!! Please help
I've got about three gigabytes of music and about ten or twelve apps installed but my storage says I have less than 1gb free (16g version) anyone else have this issue? I had the restore con problem too and sorted that in five minutes but I can't even do a back up to update my ROM with this situation. Anyone know about it? I've looked through this thread and cant see any thing similar to my problem. Thanks guys
Install ES file explorer and use its sd analysis tool - it will show what uses space and so on.
If u can't find what's using up ur card u could try formating it in Windows or in recovery I've had funny things like that happen on my n5 and my HTC a format has always fixed it for me but be sure to back up any thing u don't want to lose.
Cheers guys
