I have nexus s and I want to sync my Facebook with my phone, but whenever I try to add my Facebook account using in built account& sync, it doesn't let me... Help!

Google has disabled Facebook sync with stock android starting from Gingerbread 2.3.3 (or 2.3.4)
It has to do with some privacy policy things regarding contacts. http://goo.gl/W0SPB

Many roms have re-enabled Facebook sync though. I highly recommend Peter Alfonso's ICS Bug less Beast. I think there is also an app on Google market that gives some sort of work around, but not entirely sure.

I recovered it and is now working fine. I broke my phone when I tried to change my rom from cyanogen to stock. Now that said, I still want to know more solution to my original problem...

There's a bunch of rooms with Facebook sync enabled but I really like asop oICS from most. What files do I need to enable Facebook sync. Its the only feature I want.

Hi,
I'm using a CM9 Nightly. I really like how the phone behaves now, but something I really miss from the stock HTC software, was how it integrated my Facebook contacts into my phone's contacts. It synced all the contact details from my friends, and made it available for offline viewing.
I've tried the official Facebook app. No joy. No additions to my phone's contacts at all. Even with contact sync turned on for that acc.
I've tried Friendcaster, that synced the names of my friends to my phone book, but no contact details for offline viewing?
The stock "People" on the stock HTC ROM had a great way of doing this.
Any clues?

I've been bouncing around roms and I'm liking the newest Cm nightly. But I'm still liking the stock gs3 calender, is there anyway to use that calender instead of the one that comes with the rom..
