i have following problem with xbsall's release of the ICS rom:
the IMEI isn't shown if i dial *#06# but if i connect my O3D with the PC and check it with a terminal and the command "at%imei" it's shown the correct IMEI
Why i'm looking for IMEI.? if i insert my SIM card, power my O3D and there is no signal. So i thinked, that this missing IMEI is the promblem.
please teach me a better way if I'm wrong.
Some information about my O3D:
-first falshed with xbsall's .bin and .fls files
-then rooted
-flashed TWRP with an app
-wiped and format how I red in the tut of xbsall
-flashed his rom first in normal version, but this was rebooting often
-this reboots suck after some time and i started to do it again (flashing bin and fls, rooting, ... )
-then flashed the rom in version 1 (Greek version) --> this is free of reboots :victory:
-now it's nearly like after flashing (only some conf. changed, e. g.: WiFi)
my sim card is a German Vodafone card.
Ich hope, someone could help me. i tried to do it on my self, but now it's to much for me

em gettin the same problem... after being updatin my phone to xbsall s ics... my sim isnt workin... sometimes it shows no service n sometimes....it says no sim inserted ...help us please... i m stuck...i downgraded my phone to gingebread accordin to the instructions ... everythin works fine instead of that stupid sim... imei number is OK ... baseband is OK... but still

I think it's a hardware problem. return for a guarantee if you have.

I have this problem after flashing a Jelly bean ROM... and the second SIM didn't work...
But there's nothing wrong with the first SIM card...
My device is a Malaysian device called Ninetology stealth 2 and i found out that Micromax A110 is actually a similar device just that it is a different country..
Does it effect the SIM cards?

replace the modem.img from ur stock rom.
Solved.. But there are still other issues...
I solved the problem by going to "Wireless & Networks->Mobile Networks->3G service->Enable 3G" and changed it to the alternate SIM card and it works...
But another problem appeared...
Then I can't use my first SIM card service (data plan)....
I will and find the original ROM under my country and give a try....
At the moment... I'll live with this first....
Replace modem.img
Root first . Install root explorer . save the file modem.img from your stock ROM which is located at (etc/firmware) and copy it to the etc/firmware.

What is the exact error you are getting? Like 'Invalid IMEI' or 'No Service' or 'Searching' or 'No SIM' etc...?

hello, i m in a big major problem. my recently phone and contact app got deleled as i was installing suvi roms contact and dialer by cwm. Now cwm is also not working nor letting me to go to stock recovery. every time when i switch my fone , the fone shows the start setup like date setting and enter language etc. and also process.android.acore has been stopped is coming. please guys help me

I`ve got an LG MyTouch Q (C800) which was network locked to T-Mobile, i`ve flashed the latest nightly CM9 (doing everything by the instructions), and now the phone can`t connect to any mobile networks. Looking for a solution i`ve found that you can flash a stock baseband to solve this, but everytime i flash this stock baseband image through CWM recovery nothing changes - no network connections and baseband still shows "unknown". IMEI is the same as on stock ROM.
Removing the sim card doesn`t bring "emergency call" option and there is no "no sim card" sign in the tray, and the phone acts like it has a sim card in it when trying to connect to a mobile network it says that "Unable to connect to this network at this time. Please try again later".
Flashing back to stock ROM solves the problem - i have a baseband number and emergency call works but the biggest problem still exists - it`s network locked.
So the question is:
Am I flashing correctly this stock baseband through CWM recovery or I am doing everything wrong?
P.S.
I can`t post in the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1752704 and instructions on stock baseband flashing were sketchy at best.
No one knows? Please guys\gals help, it`s driving me nuts that I can`t figure it out how to flash this baseband.
guys, i have a problem i that cant figure out what to do to solve it... Yesterday before i wad flashing the Wolla mashmallow sense 7 rom, i m using skydragon v1.5.1 rom. Before flashing the wolla rom, everything is fine, but right after i flashed the rom, my sim card cant be detected anymore, there arent any error msg saying cant detect sim card or preparing sim card, just the signal bar has a cross on it. Then i realize that the baseband number and imei number became unknown too. I tried to reinsert sim card but nothing happens too.
Then, i tried to flash back to the skydragon rom, but the same prob is still there. The sim card cant be detected and baseband and imei number became unknown. I even tried to restore my stock rom from nandroid but the same prob still exist.
Anyone knows what happened to the phone? Any solution for this? Thx in advance

I recently flashed my Galaxy S8+ with Hades ROM which is a ONE UI based ROM .
Everything works fine but sim card is not getting any signal or just shows " not registered on network" sometimes.
But it do work sometimes when connected to WiFi n when WiFi calling is enabled , but I can't use my mobile data or calls from my carrier network.
THE PHONE BASICALLY HAS FEW ISSUES BEFORE FLASHING NEW ROM .
1 ) It was bought from UAE and it was already rooted when I got it .
2) Attempt to flash stock ROM failed everytime cz the SIM card was not detected even when it was in stock ROM itself.
3) so many try with different versions of Odin and different versions of Stock firmware , it did not work .
Please give me some fix .
(NOTE) : SIM card is working very fine but the issue is with the phone itself.
What is so "secret" about this topic, that no one of the experts likes to talk abaout it and help us out? So many have this problem. Even though for those like me who have a stock backup auf EFS and Baseband. If somebody would be so kind to send a pn with further hints would be very kindful. Thanks a lot folks.
