LGtool release, S-off? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

http://www.lgtool.net/site/features.html
This is the link to the official site ...I'm not wise enough to realize how it works, maybe some of the developers around can do it. There is an interesting image that I found on the site...

The site has ONE X in their supported devices list. :good:

Very interesting... there's repair IMEI and repair s-off. Might be what we need to obtain s-off. Quite pricey tho...

With an asterisk next to it meaning "remote unlock only"
On the road using my HOX

Well, let's hope for the best

Does this thing rlly works T_T ?

* marked models are supported by remote unlock only
one x is marked

What does "remote unlock" mean?

I had a quick look through their support forum - couldn't see anyone actually successful with the one x though - some german geezer had tried on a phone with a tripndroid kernel and had problems. You'd have thought stock'd be a good start wouldn't you?
It does sound like its possibly basically on the same theme as what already know about s-off though - lots of talk of talk of usb cables and sd cards.

I know one guy with this tool, he said that it can do s-off only for some old devices but not for one x

Who is your service provider? You could maybe double check it with them if they released the ICS update at all. (they should have though... ) You could maybe reboot your device I give it a try again? Somebody more clever might help you out...

built in updater is the same I told you.
edit2:
And one more thing! You could also have a look in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1672425 It is about RUU (Rom Update Utility). By using these you can update your device but you need to choose the right RUU for your device. Use this if you cannot get anywhere with your provider...

The answer is written in the thread I gave you and set up by kgs1992. Read all that stuff just to make sure you are familiar with that you are going to do. :good:
Just be sure you're connected to wifi and check for updates, it will prompt you to install the latest software available for your phone and region
Yes. When you tap on the check now button, a window will appear where it tells you what you are going to download. And It's better to be connected to WiFi as it will download a bigger amount of update.

HTC One X will not turn on, no LED response

i tried to install new ROM. It couldn't make a new tmp/update_binary to I rebooted to Fastboot. i think i accidentally installed a TEGRA 3 ROM....
Now my phone won't turn on, no LEDs come on.
HOWEVER, when plugged into my computer, the computer recognizes that something's been plugged in (with that du-doo) noise, but then quickly makes the (da-da-da) noise to inform me that the USB device isn't working.
Pwr+Voldown doesn't work
In Windows Device Manager I get Code 28 (wrong drivers) for some device called QHSUSB_DLOAD, but that might be something else.
Where do I go from here. I've searched for hours on this issue...
Were you on 2.20 firmware? Did you try to install ice cold jelly?
If both those are yes, you are screwed and now have an expensive paperweight.
I have heard that HTC will replace the motherboard for 120
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
I'm not sure which firmware I was on. Thought i did have a Jelly Bean ROM installed, before this failed attempt.
And yes... I was trying to install ICJ...
What method did you use to unlock your bootloader? X-factor?

Thanks for response
It seems that installing ubuntu and going forward with (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1966850)
is my only option.
I used Hasoon's toil.

His toolkit only uses the xfactor exploit.. whether or not that exploit works on 1.85 and if he was on 1.85 isn't known to me.
I'm gonna place my money that he was on 2.20

Well unlike the International HTC One X, this device is not as popular (comparatively) and much more expensive, so there would be less people & developers using it which would be one of the reasons. Also you have differing versions in Europe and Asia.

As much as I agree with you that's where it stands, in reality. Due to the cost many people are opting for Xperia Zs and Notes (Here in India), though I find the Butterfly better.

[Q] Unlocking HTC One X on ATT 2.2

I've been trying for HOURS to change the CID on my HTC One X att running 4.1.1 ( i think it's running 2.2, whatever that is).
I've tried all of the different one click methods to change the CID to no prevail.
Can anyone help me out?
Edit: It actually is running 3.1.8
You have to use the 3.18 method. I don't think there's a one click yet.

Well if you started with that Rom take a few step back because it was working so I'm gonna guess something you changed broke something in the Rom.
