I used the background of a froyo themed. Launcher and changed the dimensions to fit then placed the icons on top of each one

Paint.NET its a free program that does some of what photo shop can

For the people that are having trouble installing, make sure you uninstall the previous version you've got installed

EDIT: Refreshing the page worked, that widget does indeed look quite fancy.

Cheers for that. I really like the 4x1 Sense 4 clock, the Aluminium one is nice too, looks a little different. I hate how slow sense is but I gotta admit, it sure is pretty. I probably like this better than the Atrix HD launcher, but I haven't tried either yet.

Yeah both of them are really nice, i prefer 4x1 clock widgets, like the one in GoLauncherEx. dont feel like flashing the atrix hd launcher just for the widget though it does look awesome.

Even after switching GPS on it is not showing weather. Did anyone check in India.
Running CM10 nightly evita from a couple nights ago, but the problem is more my fault so that shouldn't be a problem. There should be a screenshot. Notice the conspicuous absence of a very important button from the dock. Sorry to bug anyone.

Nope just stock Jellybean pretty much. The clock is a uccw widget. I just rebooted though and it came back, so all good. Thanks anyway :good:

Nova Launcher
with a combination of: simple text (dock) beautiful widgets, minimalistic text, desktop visualizer, ttpod music player, android pro widgets (facebook) etc lol

My homescreen is the default one. I really like LG's ICS UI. Even the lg icons are where they were. On the second screen i just added my most used apps and the battety percentage indicator, and that's about it.

Anyone got Optimus 3d template?
My apps are outdated. When I bought the phone - pre-root, my stock apps were different. I notice that Google Maps, Calendar, and Messaging all seem to be the old version. I am running 4.2.2 and the latest version of GAPPS. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Which GAPPS version did you download and install? HERE is a newer GAPPS (6/15) that I've been using with CM10.1, you may want to give it a try.
My apps currently look like the ones from the Nexus on the right and they used to look like the icons on the left....

That explains it...Before on the left you were on Samsung's touchwiz on 4.1.2 using samsung apps. Now you are on an AOSP 4.2.2 rom using aosp apps. The apps are similar but different and have different icons. The 4.2.2 AOSP rom is going to look like the Nexus.

Ah thank you! That was driving me crazy. How do I get back to the Samsung apps? I like the touchwiz calendar, messaging, alarm clock, maps, etc.

Keep in mind that other launchers and themes allow you to change the look of the icons as well.
I tried the TW theme but I'm still missing the actual app performance/construction. From what I read, I'm one of few who actually like those better!
