There are a dozen or more threads that discuss the fact that Google Wallet will not ever work on a Skyrocket no matter how badly you want it to.
Yeah, I get it Illnevertell.

J-tag tryouts! 4.1.2 international

Here is the link. It is a file you have to flash in Odin, so if any devs want to make this into a ROM I would be pleased to see one.
Edit: found out this was international version, that is why link is gone. If anyone wants the international link please PM me. Sorry guys...

i9300 zipped rom flash = Most likely just a soft brick
i9300 full Odin tar = Dead phone

Verizon SIII Repair

My friend was flashing his phone and flashed an image for the wrong model.
Does anyone know if the boot loader can be flashed via an SD Card on a verizon phone such as mentioned in the documentation floating around for the I9300?
Thanks,
Kenny

It doesn't do anything just sits there with a solid red led when I connect the charger. No display or response to button combinations. So it's bricked as hard as can be lol
Not sure of the rom off hand.

Yup. You need a jtag service. They usually run 50 to 60 bucks. That's pretty much your only option.

Use this method if you are on the old updates, if you are on the MF1 update. just pop in the micro sim from AT&T and select GSM. You can edit the APN on the latest update. but no 3G
Everything should work

I'm thinking that the menu won't show in older versions. Going by the guide IF you're not on the MF1 update would be the best way.

You can always try. I've never tried anything outside of LiquidSmooth v2.7. I just got my S3 a week ago. Haha. I'm sure it should work on any AOSP or AOKP ROM... maybe. :what:

Actually, now that I'm looking back on the guide and in the video... they do it on the stock TouchWiz ROM.
I've seen somewhere, unfortunately I can't recall where, that you can do it on AOSP and AOKP ROMs too. Hmm... maybe ask on the thread of the ROM and someone should be able to tell you.
And make sure your friend knows that if he does get it working that he will have edge data. He may be better off trading his S3 for an AT&T one.
