Hello dear friends,
I just recently purchased a Lenovo A830 due to it being a budget phone but now I am starting to regret it.
It came rooted I checked through (Root Checker) app, but it's mostly in chinese even after changing the language.
So I came across this custom rom recently and I am really interested to install it so I can get rid of the current stock rom.
Unfortunately I need to have clock world mod recovery installed, So I have been trying to install it through Flash tools v3.1304.0.119 -- it wouldn't detect even after installing the proper usb drivers which are ( MTK6589 Drivers ).
It did detect once and it went to a 100% in red and said something about checking the logs and that it wouldn't work cannot be specific about this because it's not doing that anymore it's just not detecting.
Can someone please try to help me and guide me to install or tell me what to do to install CWM on my lenovo A830, It would be much appreciated.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi everyone. Please could someone help me to install CWM and a custom rom to a samsung s4 clone that was just given to me as a gift from thailand. It is a very good clone i just cant get into recovery mode. I used mtk tool and it says its a mk6589 processor is armv7. I cant find any information on this exact model and have tried everything to get cwm but some reason it just keep loading into the main phone when I try. The phone is very sluggish because of all the software running to get it to look like an s4 but i do not want that and would prefer my own custom rom on this phone if at all possible. I did manage to root the phone with framaroot
Any help would be very much appreciated.
I own android tecno m9. i rooted it successfully and i tried to flash the device but could not do it correctly. now i cant make calls or receive sms messages due invalid IMEI. i have tried many ways to restore the imei but to no avail. i have used mobile uncle tools, mtk droid tools. the only problem now with device is the IMEI. pls help. http://cdn3.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/eek.gif

How to root Xolo Era 4K ? This device is MT6735M , lollipop 5.1 .
I have tried almost every single One Click Root Software (both for Android and PC). But none of them worked.
I am not able to port a Custom Recovery for this device by myself. Because the Recovery Porting Tools (like MTK Droid Tools) , i am familiar with are not working on MT67XX. Or they already need a rooted device to work on.
Can anybody provide a Custom Recovery for this device (I can give you the Stock Recovery.img) ?
or any other Root method for this device ?
Please Help.

Try to use Kingo root app

Like i have mentioned above, i have tried both the Android and PC versions of Kingoroot. None of it worked. I have tried all the popular rooting tools (Kingo, King, vroot, iroot, Root Master, 360 Root, Root Genious, Framaroot, One Click Root, towel root, Manual Root Scripts via adb) But none of them worked for my device.
I also had made sure that my Bootloader is unlocked.
Unlocked it via this command fastboot oem unlock during fastboot.
Verified by this command fastboot getvar all
It shown in the end Bootloader Unlocked: Yes , Bootloader Secure: No.
I don't hope for One-Click-Root Methods now.
Now i have focus on getting a custom recovery. But i am not able to create one for myself. I can give you my stock recovery.img , if anybody can help. Please port one for me.

Bro use King root app to root Xolo Era 4k It works. I had rooted my xolo era 4k successfully and many smartphones with kingroot app. Sometimes the rooting process fails in middle but try for some few attempts and your phone will be rooted.Note that while rooting phone might reboot so dont panic .This app works but sometimes you have to try for 2-4 times as the app shows "root fail" Message. Just retry and get the phone rooted. get the app from kingroot.net
I was trying to uninstall audiofx from my XOLO era 4k by flashing some audiofx uninstaller , now my XOLO era 4k is unable to play anything neither I can hear anything on calls . plz help me .

Please make a stable rom miui 8 for xolo era 4k.
I used your rom but it has some bugs like very low vibration on incoming call. App2sd not working.
Root with kingoroot try 4 and 5 times with a good network connections

Which device are you using ? coz I am currently using Sony Xperia Z and I used 360 root app for rooting it to add cyanogen mod. It was simple one click root. Hassle free!!. You can download the app from: 360rootdownload.info
YXTEL H1 : I am trying to fix a friends phone, but unable to find custom ROM for this
Update service and some other services have stopped working
even resetting the phone didnt resolve the problem.
The phone is not going to Recovery Mode, its stuck at YXTEL Phone
The OS version is 4.4.2
Would request developer to kindly help us out if they know about any custom ROM or original ROM to flash
