Fullscreen video in Browser - General Questions and Answers

Hi
I'm trying to view HTML 5 video in fullscreen. So far I have browser support vary for HTML 5 video- for example, at own3d.tv, Chrome displays video controls but upon entering fullscreen mode, a message is displayed that the video type is not supported. In the stock browser, the video plays but no controls are displayed. The video can be paused by touching the video.
Is there any way to force the display of video controls in the browser, or a gesture which allows entering full screen?
I am on a Galaxy S3 running a Cyanogen mod nightly from a couple of days a go.
Thanks for any help.

[Q] Video Player Screeshot Problem

Hi all,
Recently i noticed something strange in my note 10.1, the JB introduces a new function that allows us to capture a screenshot while playing a video using the stock video player. However, every time i capture a screenshot in the video player, the screenshot captured is not shown in the Gallery, or it takes quite some time to be shown in the Gallery. But when i go the screenshot folder in the device using file explorer, the image is there...anyone encounters this as well?

[Q] Chrome plays video sound but not image

TF101 not rooted. Chrome shows only a black screen when playing videos on any site. Audio works and all the controls work. Just no picture.
The internal browser and Opera have no difficulty, but for some sites I like Chrome because it allows zooming on sites that don't allow zooming (e.g. icanhascheezeburger.com).
I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and deleted all site data, with no success.
??
I saw this issue with Chrome, but using Chrome Beta it was working. Give that a shot.

[Q] HTML5 video tag behaves strangely in Cordova app

I'm trying to create a cross-platform video player with Apache Cordova using pure html5 video tag or the same with video.js plugin.
I'm testing it on an Android 4.2.2 device based on Tegra 3. Video is playing, actually, but it is not visible at first. If background is black, I see a black screen, if white - white screen, so, player element (its video surface) is disappearing, although I can hear sound. If controls are enabled, I can switch it to fullscreen (or do it programmatically with JS) and back several times. Video element behaves like it isn't playing anything (still picture appears, play button instead of pause), but sound still there. Eventually I'm in fullscreen mode with play button available, so I can start it again and this time video is working.
My code is nothing more than a blank Cordova app with video tag consuming remote Apple HLS playlist. Which way I can debug it, at least?
An update: it appears to be related to Apple HLS format. When I pass a link to a file on my video server, it plays normally. When I pass a stream link to a playlist.m4u8, it behaves like I've already described. I can't google it out, what is wrong, do I need to set some mime-type other than video/mp4, or something else?

Web Browsers and embedded video issues

So I have a custom debloated ROM running, and I am not sure if its the stuff I deleted, or a general android issue, but when viewing a webpage that hosts an embedded YouTube video, there are no video controls visible.
I can still watch the video, and click on it to pause it, but there is no way for me to seek forward or backward.
Can someone confirm they have video controls on their stock browser? Also, if I go to the YouTube site and watch a movie there, I have no problems viewing and using the controls.
Never mind. Idk what I did but they work just fine now ?
