The lockscreen whether its charging or not comes on by itself at random times and sometimes several times in a row. When its not charging, it obivously kills my battery. I thought it might be related to the rom im using, but i have tried several different roms and they all do the same thing. Another thing is my speakerphone will come on by itself when i answer a call. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
any ideas?

Sounds like something is set to turn the screen on. Do you have any custom messaging apps? What rom are you running? any mods? please provide as much info about your phone as you can to help find the issue

Right now i am running Android Revolution. When i first got the phone it had the Ingersoll Rom installed and i don't remember it doing it then, but since then i have tried, coredroid, rcmix3d, virtuous, honeysense, leedroid and they all do it. I have both "s" off. No i did have chompsms installed a while back, but have done several data wipes since then. No other mods. It is eating the hell out of my battery by doing this and i am starting to regret trading my iphone for it.

I would flash a sock rom and see if it does it. might be a phantom file that is not getting over written. If it doesnt do it then then reload the rom. are you restoring any system data or apps?

ya i think i might have found one in the sticky, ill try and report back.
Trying the TPC stock optimized rom for the day, ill give details on it tonight.
Ahh, i give up. It keeps kicking car panel on. I am getting so frustrated with this. And no rom has fixed the speakerphone coming on automatically.

Sounds like you have a device issue, car panel should only come on when it is plugged into the car dock, might be a USB port issue

Sorry to hear ur issues. I can understand ur frustration but don't leave a general remark like this, cos what u r experiencing could be a stray issue due to some random app.
Anyways, coming to ur issue, try this once:
1. Format ur SD card
2. Copy the Android Revolution 5.1.10 (I am saying this ROM cos I've been using this since 5.1.7 and its been good all along)
3. Go to CWM console
4. Do the factory wipe option (data/cache wipe)
5. Go to advanced and wipe the dalvik cache
6. Flash the ROM
7. Reboot
Do NOT restore any apps or data using TiBu.
Let me know how it goes. (I am subscribing to this thread )

2. Reg. car panel, I heard this issue on here many times on different ROMs. U cud simply freeze the app or delete it altogether if u r not using it. And like Zel said, this could be cos the charger u r using has current coming through that's around the same range as that of car charger.

Is it possible the sdcard is bad? I am about to format and reinstall android revolution right now. Ill post the results.
OK, flashed Android Revolution. The speakerphone still comes on automatically. Will keep an eye on the screen to see what it does. I have not any installed any mod, or apps yet. Totally clean install.
OK, it didnt do it as often, but the screen still came on. I'm not 100% sure, but i think it came on as data was being used? i noticed the data arrows moving. Formatting and flashing coredroid now and testing.
1. Did u restore any apps?

This is strange... Hearing for the first time. Could u pls post this on the Android Revolution thread and see if anyone else faced this issue. As far as I can recall, I don't remember seeing any such thing on that thread.
Edit: You could try re-downloading the ROM zip. Sometimes zips can be corrupt too.
This time when u try, please backup ur data on SD card, and format it fresh, and load only the rom zip on it.

for example.
If somebody calls me, I cannot answer(I press answer button and nothing happens, or it happend after 10 sec)
Also it is the same case with canceling calls
If I talk with somebody when I want to end call I just cannot end call!
NOTE
this is not happening always(maybe every 4 call)but it is killing me...
I tryed with official froyo, gigner, custom...

I have upgraded my O3D from rooted froyo using LG mobile support tools and it was smooth.
I dont think you need to un-root your O3D.
Recovery was not helpful....I suppose nobody doesent have any more idea?
Try to flash baseband to 20e or 20c.

I had this issue with Cyanogenmod roms otherwise if you have Clockworkmod flashed, just clear your cache and it should work temporarily. this used to happen to me on occasion and it seemed to fix it for the time being.

This is happening on EVERY rom .Two days ago I have installed Promethius Project V1.4, and so far I have no problem with answering calls.I will wait a little more and see.In the meantime if problem appears i will clear the cashe and see the result.
One small question,when you say to clear cashe,you mean cashe partishion or cashe in mount and storage menu?

Samno sets the call ring delay to 0 in Promethius build props.. Most other roms set to 300 I think. This may be your fix
Also it is based on new v21e so that could be it as well.

In ClockworkMod Interface there is an option right on the first menu that says clear Cache. thats what it is. granted im using CM touch but it shouldnt be any different.

You are right.After few days of using phone I am again experiencing problem with calls.... ;( But after deleting cash, everything is back no normal.

After an installation of paranoid android my oneplus one speaker on top of the screen stopped working and the microphone too while calling.
i ve tried also to return to stock with this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2765455. How i can fix this problem? with the external speaker in call everything work well but without is impossible doing a call! (sorry for my very bad english)

Which steps did you do in order to install PA? Please tell us the exact way you did it, maybe we can figure something out. Also, providing a logcat might help too...
Factory reset with twrp than install paranoid and google apps boot!!Micrphone and speaker broken... I tried to return to cm, restore to stock with the firmware in the first post but nothing.

A weird question but Have you unlocked your bootloader?
I have got a similar problem. I got my OPO, unlocked it, flashed twrp, then PA and GApps and shortly after franco, AK and Sensei kernel. I can hear people calling me, but they can't hear me. When trying to record the voice, the first 5 seconds are just a loud beep and then muffled noise.

I mistakenly forgot to check flash the google apps provided in you description before booting cm12, and now I'm not quite sure how to flash them. I tried to download the TWRP recovery app directly to my phone through the browser app but it crashes every time I open it.
The zip file is already on my phone. How can I flash them?

On the latest build (1/10) when I take a screenshot the screenshot notification gets stuck at "Saving Screenshot...". The screenshot is taken and saved but I am unable to clear the notification from the drop down tray. I have to reboot to clear the notification.

Same way you flash ROM, well besides wiping any partitions. Every time you update ROM you need to flash GApps.
Does anyone know anything about screen off CRT effect as in is it coming to cm12 and is it available for 11? I remember cm7 had it along with stock lg ROM having it. Thanks.

Not software issue, but configuration. see HERE. **Warning** I wouldn't set the values too high if you value your speaker. I set mine to 58/70/70. Hope this helps!
I attempted two seperate clean installs, and in neither could I gain root access. Am I missing something?

usb computer connection
I did clean flash . But when i try to connect phone with computer via usb, it won't detect phone . In storage there's an option for usb computer connection but nothing happens . Phone goes straight to charging mode and i am not getting any option for switch mtp ptp or charging mode . Is there something, i am missing .
Chrome Tabs not able to switch
I am on the latest nightly and can't seem to change tabs in chrome (it won't let me swap or close specific tabs) I have taken a logcat and Attached it to this post. is anyone else having this problem? i am in the process of backing up and wiping to do a clean boot to check to see if i can reproduce this problem. I will update this post if I am or am not able to reproduce this problem and update the log if needed
***UPDATE*** Wipe and clean install seems to have cleared up the problem
Speaker quality
Did a clean install. Everything works well. Except the sound. At low levels it sounds "OK". If I turn the volume up, which doesn't seem to be loud at all, the speaker pops a cracks like it's blown. This happens irregardless of the music/movie app being used. It happens on notifications. I've been lurking the forums and searching threads trying to find some mention of the same problem. I'm a confessed noob so please be gentle.

Thank you for your reply. I did see that while searching and I did try it. It didn't resolve my issue. At very low volumes there is no static. Anything above half will produce a static crackling sound. To the point that it overwhelms the music. I made a backup and restored my factory backup. The speaker works fine with a rooted factory setup. I've not seen one person describe the problem I'm having in the pages that I've read. That makes me think that the problem is either with the way I installed the rom or with this specific phone. Ill wipe it and reinstall again. Again thanks for taking the time to try to help.

folder mess
i'll start out by saying i'm one for simple and logical folder orginazation
that said, is there any way to turn off the emulated storage symlink mess in cm12? i don't plan to use multiple users (never have, never will) and i'm tired of the multi user garbage in newer versions of android. i just want a simple setup such as /mnt/sdcard0 (1, 2, etc...) like old android had. if anyone can give me instructions on how to do this i'd be thankful as the new system makes a mess out of gallery apps and the like. if not, i'll probably just backdate through android versions until i can get to something that behaves like 2.2 did with folders.
Any word on exfat support?
I found the file that I used to flash when I was on LG OG, it doesn't seem to work with cm12. I world flash my new/updated ROM and then flash this to get access to my ExFAT sdcard.
Maybe someone smarter than I can tweak it?

don't waste your time. I just tried resurrection remix L5.0 and it does the same thing. speaker playback crack/pop with clean install. This is probably just one of those issues that will require time to sort out. Shame too, because I really want to start using Lolli roms...

I have the same problem. I have searched and searched but been unable to find any way to access Recents. Long pressing the home key does nothing. I also tried the Recently app but could not figure out how to get it to activate.

Not sure. Maybe stock video player doesn't support that video format.

When I posted my statement on 6 May 2015, I was running 2 May 2015 version of the ROM. Recents works now but did not back then.
problems formatting /data /cache to f2fs format
I am using the latest twrp tried to change the format of the two listed and recieved the msg that they were invalid partitions

Just need to confirm few things. So i wipe date and cache to F2FS and i wipe dalvik cache and system in the normal way we usually do? Then I flash rom and gapps? Thats it?

Format /data and /cache to F2FS. Then wipe /system and /dalvik (yes, clean flash). Make sure you make a nandroid backup first. This will also preserve your current file system type for data and cache for when you restore, if needed.
You might want to wait until my next build is posted to try it. There will be a bunch of things fixed as well as new features.
Help needed. Strange problem
Hey. I really need help here. I have been using SlimLP for quite sometime now. No issues no nothing. I was using the latest rom with the F2FS support. I was using it and suddenly it flashed, vibrated and kept on vibrating. I did not pay much attention. Took the battery out, reinserted it and it worked fine. I was already thinking of trying Paranoid so i had already put the respective rom and gapps in the phone.
So i changed the rom and clean flashed Paranoid. It worked fine for a few days but i started experiencing the same problem again. I use the phone, it flashes, vibrates and then keeps on vibrating. I try pressing power button so it shows samsung logo, starts to boot as i can see the paranoid icon, but breaks in between and the same thing happens. But sometimes its able to boot properly. I use the phone for a while and same thing happens.
I clean flashed this rom again. Same issue. Clean flashed the previous Slim rom. same issue. Restored backup from slim rom. same issue. Restored backup of my stock jellybean. Same issue! Please help!
My phone is currently sitting idle and i am not experiencing any issue. As soon as i use it, after a minute or two i face this problem. Please help.

Thank you very much for the hard work and do appreciate it all.
Am coming from a different rom which is also 5.1 and am using latest philz touch recovery. I cleared everything including dalvik cache and
flashed both rom and gapps and the phone boots up successfully. Am actually enjoying the rom but my problem is i can't setup google account on the rom. It force closes during the account setup process.
Re-flashed the rom successfully, as the first time around it did not ask me Language or Google account info and Google Play services kept crashing endlessly. Maybe I just needed to flash it again, or maybe the Gapps package I got didn't agree with my setup (now using Slim_zero_gapps.BETA.5.1.build.0.x-20150820 and it seems to work ok). Thanks for the upload! I have been looking for a good custom rom to run my i727 until I upgrade to a newer phone. The BEST rom I had before was SlimKat Official for Skyrocket, but it's a bit outdated don't you think? It's very nice to see a new interface; really brings a freshness and new appreciation for my old hardware. Thank you.
Also, I am kind of curious about how to view currently opened apps. I used to hold the home button to do this so I could cycle through and kill them if needed.
-Edit- August 26, 2015 2:18 P.M. CST I really love how smooth this rom is at times, but other times it gets laggy and crashes apps after a couple moments for no reason. I did use a custom PIT file to re-partition my i727 so may be other variables as well. Has anyone else had apps crash on them?
no audio through headphone jack
i have done a clean flash and install of the new build of slimlp (nospamdan) having issues with audio coming from headphone jack when jack is removed all sound disappears music wise
