Hi, my wife owns a new Ipad wifi device. Until now she used it at home with our wifi connection. Now because of her job, she needs the possibility of being connected everywhere. I have a Samsung omnia i900 on the drawer and a sim with internet connection, so I ask you if there is any way to make tethering with it by wifi (as Ipad is suposed not to give the option of connecting by usb).
Else I´ll have to buy a cheap android device, but if I don´t have to spend money... better for me
Thank you!
hey
hey!! theres a software called Wifi Router WM, you can install it and use it anyway you want, all options for tethering is available there.. just google it and enjoy... and its supposed to be free now..
edit: hey, i have the software , am gonna attach t for you... enjoy..
Is it solved or not?

at the moment I do have a kaiser 130. but it´s not mine - it´s a friend´s machine...
most important thing to me is that I can use the internal modem in an application I will write in vb.net to call another computer and deliver some data.

Hi Experts,
I recently purchased a HTC Touch Cruise, it a great phone, and I like all features, what I want to know is if we can use the HTC touch Cruise GPS as a Bluetooth Receiver for my laptop which has Microsoft Streets & Mapps installed.
I have 2 Laptops 1 is HP (office) and the Other is Sony Viao UX series which i have put in a car. I do not waht to buy a seperate BT GPS receiver for my Viao while on road, will like to use my Touch Cruise for that.......
Did any one of you try doing this before???
Any help will be highly appreciated.

I'm also be very interested
But it looks like there's no chance for it without a 3rd party app...
Have a look at http://www.gpsmeter.com/index.php?page=portsplitter or consider Fransons GPS ate - Mike
Looks Interesting....may be possible....

Hi all,
Does anyone have access to the test .apk that Blueinput released that might let me use/test this with my samsung Galaxy S?>
It doesnt seem that their live .apk on their site will work with every device.
Or maybe there is a better option somewhere that I am not aware of.
Anyone have any luck using other methods to connect a bluetooth keyboard to their Android handsets?
I am rather disapointed that I have been unable to pair my Nokia SU-8W with my Sammy
I am doing the bulk of my mobile typing with my N95 8Gb (paired with su-8w) now that I have sold my HD2.
This is a nuisance as:
a/. the notes application really sucks and doesnt give me much in the way of layout options
b/. the screen is 320 x 240 and just not as nice to read....
Can anyone advise me?
Thanks
XxJPM froyo has given me full bluetooth mouse and keyboard on my galaxy s . This is good rom people.

Hi there! I'm new to XDA and the technology world. I own both an android and windows 7 device. Love them both. After owning an HD2 I was a little disappointed to know that some of the capabilities of the HD2 were not available on the HD7. So I want to know if there's a way to tweek some things. I have WMWifi Router on the HD2, EXCELLENT app. Want it on the HD7 and Galaxy Tab. Is there a way to save the app and transfer it? The HD7 sadly does not have an expendable memory slot. Can the app be transferred via email or something to be able to upload it into the HD7? And can the app be saved to an sd card and transferred to the Galaxy Tab?
Also, can u suggest a router equivalent to WMWifi Router for the Galaxy Tab? I don't understand T-mobile's Hotspot app and unfortunately neither do some of their own techs. So I thought id ask on this end instead of giving them 3 more hours of my time and getting nothing in return.
Would appreciate any help. All tmo did was give me the numbers to windows and samsung....smh.
Please help. Appreciate it!

Hello all,
Need quick reply on this one.
Can we use one mobile phone to act as a keyboard for another mobile phone? Can connect wirelessly through anything Bluetooth, Wi-Fi etc??
I have a spare Nexus 5 phone and want to use it as an external keyboard(not using any hardware such as wireless keyboard as my friends did) for my Nexus 6P.
Please feel free to comment and suggest.
Thank you
