Usb Mount - Motorola Atrix 2

Have previously mounted usb using the custom cable which i made...
Gave power to the usb sticks from external computer or charger...
This allowed me to mount usb using "usb host controller app" when i was on rooted ginger bread back then...
Currently im on unrooted stock ota of ics...
Is there any app using which i can mount usb on ics urooted atrix2?
Sorry to trouble you...
Could you please guide me in rooting my device on ota ics 4.0.4....
Thanks a lot in advance...

Here.
And all you had to do was search. XDA isn't a service/support site, it's for reading/researching/learning -only thing we ask is that you do the "leg work" on your own...

Did u go to USB computer configuration? If your first search term didn't work, you could always change it. To something like 'mass storage'
Cheers

[Q] laptops are unable to detect my phone!

I tried to connect my phone with 3 different pcs but none of them detected my phone . So what would be the problem! The USB charging was working!
Is it necessary to install USB drivers????

Try this, settings > applications > development > USB debugging. Enable debugging.
Yes it is necessary (the drivers). Try installing them again if you previously had any.
Delete everything related to your phone, connect your phone again and see if it works.
If that doesn't work you could back-up your data and perform a factory reset. (Worked for me)
Tried using another USB cable ? And is your phone new ? Is it rooted ?
Press Thanks if helped

Tether and mass storage work for me, and my 2 laptops and 1 pc won't install LG drivers
so you don't need the drivers

Motorola "Factory Cable"

Has anyone tried a Motorola "Factory Cable" to see if it allows them to FXZ back?
I just used it successfully to RSDlite back to 2.3.5.

No. Just a messed up rooted 2.3.6. But the cable performed flawlessly for data.

Was it a normal cable or a "factory cable?" Factory cables are specially made so that you can flash stuff to your phone even if the battery is too low.
My misunderstanding. This is the USB/charging cable that came with the phone. Still has the Motorola sticker on it so it is a cable "from the factory".

I know what your talking about. I wonder if you could use one to fix the phones bricked from the ICS leaks. If i had a hardbricked A2 i would try the boot from usb you can do with the kindle fires.

There isn't usb mass storage option in XOOM, I believe it's only MTP.
But I was able to mount mount USB with ICS Eos Roms, but thanks, but thanks, I will try to flash it again

I'm also faving the same thing, only MTP so there's no need to safely remove device thingy.
