I figured that since the p31XX's have ParanoidAndroid, I would get the p51XX's some love with the awesomeness of the Hybrid mode.
ParanoidAndroid is based off of CyanogenMod and AOSP.
I don't have the 51xx series tablet, I have a 3113, so if anyone wants to help maintain, that would be cool. User Get Fired has tested a build for the 5113 with success.

installing now. Will report back soon.
Fresh install on my 5113 with latest gapps and the CMOC10-Kernel MaxOC version
Screen seems a bit fuzzy, and I had to manually turn on the software version of the hardware keys in settings. Is this a know issue?
Other than that seems stable and fast. I'll keep testing.

Interesting that the screen is fuzzy, it doesn't appear to do that on my 3113.
I'll have to check, but I think the software buttons should have been enabled.
Thanks for the feedback.
6 hours no errors battery excellent. Way to go! Awesome ROM. Let me know if theres anything specific you want tested on the 5113
I too had to enable the Nav bar buttons, but i haven't noticed any fuzziness. I'll look again at home. On 5113

Updates:
1. The change Danrarbc made to enable the Navigation Bar on the p31xx didn't get merged into the PA sources, so that's why it's not turned on by default. I've copied the file over to my build tree.
2. frankdrey mentioned last night in IRC that I have Expanded Desktop enabled on boot, I'm working on finding that config setting in the source and disabling it.
3.I've updated the build tree to PA 2.54, so the next build will be that version. The update will also includes the latest CM10 commits.
4. I'm going to start following the CM10 path of 2 devices: p5100 and p511X.

It could have been just me going from CM10. I didn't wipe. CM10 has a Expanded Desktop feature, but mine wasn't enabled, so I don't know.
Works great, though
Fuzziness is normal if you mess with DPI.
No battery drain here. I think this will become my daily ROM.

It does seem like the battery is draining a bit faster for me, but nothing drastic. I'll check the rate after my next charge

Hmmm
Well for me the top status bar or panel is kinda small... Increasing the DPI of the statusbar in Paranoid Android Settings helps.. but the icon resolution is horrible and the UI is really big for a 1280 by 800 screen...

The whole point of Paranoid Android is to mess with the sizes. If you don't like it, either adjust size until you like it, or go back to CM10 or even Samsuck's TouchCheeze xD

BUGS
--Camera is still not working.
--HDMI isn't working like usual
--Wireless tethering isn't an option
--I'm sure you guys will find the rest.
Screenies
Build 39
AOKP Changes
added ability to change host name (settings > dev > device hostname)
added ad-hoc network support
added adb over network
added AOKP stats (you can opt out, Settings > About > AOKP Statistics) www.stats.aokp.co
added bluewall firewall - RC > General UI > Less Notification Sounds
limits the number of notification sounds an app can play per X seconds
so like 1 GTalk ping/30s, but notifications will still be coming in
added "Device options" link in Settings for devices that have an app to tweak device-specific settings
right now I believe only tuna/aries/p1c have these, all credit goes to CM trees where these apps came from
improved weather code, shouldn't bother you everytime it updates weather now
added "copy to clipboard" option in "Share" dialogs throughout ANdroid
added ability to toggle to "new" and "original" music controls on the lockscreen
as always, tons of other device-specific and internal changes, find them all at http://gerrit.sudose...atus:merged,n,z
devices changes
p5: removed OTA assert, shouldn't be any more problems flashing
tuna: fixed vold.fstab file not being added properly, which led to MTP issues, core FCs
tuna: looks like the CM9 kernel was included with this build by mistake (due to the buildbot using inline kernels and some misc testing). It doesn't affect anything, just letting you guys know we know! Enjoy their code
added showcasemtd & mesmerizemtd
ville: YOU MUST WIPE!
misc other device changes -- ask your device maintainer
credit note: we try and preserve all proper authorship on git commits and the like, if you want to know who wrote a feature or where we got it from, check out git or gerrit and just browse through the commits!

I can't wait till you guys get Camera working, then I'm gonna use this on my friend's Triumph as his DD (currently using Cm7 G60 style final ). I use AOKP on my GNex and it's the greatest ROM evar IMHO. A lot of those AOKP guys were from the Fascinate kangbang and pool party roms and they were my favorite prior's

Maybe its just me but do anybody else have to activate their phone after flashing AOKP Bulid 39? I flashed back to CM9 and I'm no need to I just though I'll point it out.

PER-APP-DPI/LAYOUT.
This is not just build.prop dpi mods! Hybrid engine allows you to target apps individually. You get to pick their actual layouts which can tranform content drastically. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with build.prop hacks or DPI changes. We list all layouts an app brings, you choose one, its as easy as that. It does not matter if your device runs itself in Phone-, Phablet or Tablet-UI, your apps will always look as you like. On top of that you can scale apps, to fit your screen, that way you can even bring full fledged tablet apps and make them run perfectly. Nothing will break, nothing will shrink, your market will be fine. Additionally we have rewritten many parts of the android framework and fixed countless of AOSP bugs to make way for these modifications - our "tablet mode" runs better on a phone than on a real tablet, that is guaranteed.
Tablet Mode
Phablet Mode
PER-APP-COLOR,
ParanoidAndroid's newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel. See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

You need to go into settings to get the Nav bar to appear. I used the early release of this last week. Not sure why they do not auto include the Nav bar on install, but it is there. I promise. Just start digging around.

There are many great ROMs out there, with the more popular ones being AOSPA (ParanoidAndroid), CM10.1, and AOKP. Being all great ROMs, it is sometimes difficult to choose which one you want to run. Why choose when you can have all three? P.A.C.-Man ROM is combination of all three ROMs, so you don't need to keep switching or deciding between which one to flash. Get all of the features in one ROM! The sources are here.. Enjoy

FAQ
FAQRead ALL of this before posting in this thread! Thanks.
Q: I don't use the on-screen softkeys. How do I remove the navigation bar?
A: Go into Hybrid Properties --> Interface, under Workspace drag the slider for "Navigation Bar Size" to 0%.
Q: How do I disable the dual-pane layout that is preset in some apps (Settings, Gmail, etc.)?
A:Go into Hybrid Properties --> Apps and choose the app that you want to change. In the top right hand corner, click "Reset" and it will change the DPI and the layout of that app to the Workspace default that you have set.
Q: Some ROM Control options do not work?
A: ROM Control is still a WIP as of right now. The frameworks part of ROM Control has yet to be merged, so that's why some settings are blank. Please give some time, and it will be fixed in the near future.

Sure. I was trying to decide between this one and liquidsmooth, but I decided to port this ROM first. I will need to consult team liquid first though.
Do you happen to have any screen shots? I thanks

No, I don't, as I don't own a One S anymore. I am basically blind developing, but I am pretty sure that this will work fine. If users report any issues, I will fix them immediately.
I am downloading right now. I have the same problem! I can never decide between so many awesome roms.

I tried to install like a normal apk and it didn't work (didn't think it would)
so I moved it to /system/app and it still doesn't do anything.
also... this is kinda me being obsessive/ocd.... but on the boot animation the background for the pacman/ghost is not completely black... you can see the square around the picture, like I said, not a big deal, just me being obsessive.
On the positive side...
rom is QUICK! lightening fast man!
of course, way to early to tell how the battery life will be.
one thing I would really like to see is the CM10 circle battery with percentage, the one that rotates when charging, that is just slick.
I was wondering about the lack of PA settings. Now I know!
Great job on this ROM. It is super fast. And I love the loads of settings!
Klin my master port it to S3 please. All of S3 community is waiting for non-sense ROM.

This kernel doesn't work with BB8.0 , i'm trying to build ketut.kumajaya kernel to OC
For now, if you really want OC stay on BB7
OC KERNEL CPU & GPU FOR P51XX
FEATURES
Code:
GPU OC TO 512Mhz
CPU FREQUENCIES:
-300Mhz
-600Mhz
-800Mhz
-1008Mhz
-1200Mhz
-1350Mz
-1420Mhz
-1520Mhz
WARNING
You and only you are responsible for what you do.
I suggest you to use 1520Mhz only for benchmark not for daily use, but as i said, you do what you want I just give you this kernel.
For me, 1008Mhz is far enough, still fast and stable and battery save, i can play GTA III without lag.

Make a note to users that calls are working despite the sound problem.
If the sound problem effects calls then is not for daily use.

Why is this ROM "taking CyanogenMod to the next level?
CyanogenMod does not want to include many customizations like they did in cm7
But why not? We want to customize our phones!

Already tested days ago but don't know what difference it has compared to PACman... Will this be regularly compiled like PAC?
Sent from Xperia Mini Pro SK17i @ CM10.1
Looks interesting. Cherry picks from all the CM/CM alternatives repositories and rolled into a single rom. Did the developers of this rom add either a built-in settings export function or add an app on the market for this?
Also, do we use regular JB GApps for this rom?
Nice work and thanks buddy!

Initial feedback on first boot:
The recovery install echo to the user could use some more info. It just sat on Checking BML/MTD state, and then said done.
No boot animation makes me sad.
The built-in superuser is annoying with it's toast notices. When diving into the settings menus, the notice just stayed there.
The are two versions of circle battery mods, but not the clean version that we've seen in roms since EC05 days here. (I think AOKP M6 has the specific version)
I've come to realize that PIE is annoying in the notification shade. Haha.

pie is useless if effsi gets a new build it has app sidebar and the newest aokp ribbons which is better than pie.
I got one done on the 14th and another built of as of a few hours ago like I was telling you. Sync didn't change anything so I'm guessing its good to go when I get home. But unlike the past release ill likely make this one more similiar in additions+tweaks as my usual releases like pac and xylon. Now if I could only get some one to confirm my xylon build in the ns4g section I could post a third rom for them... got downloads but not one darn response of it works or doesn't.
I better not run in to that system crash loop on domination or I'm going to complain for ages!
I ran the the 1st release of this and it ran gr8 no crashes at all I started the newest release 2day and nova launcher crashed and I had to pull my battery out :\ and I still can't choose any image for the notification background as well and f/c every time....from that nova crash I think the 1st release was smoother also when I boot up it takes forever for apps or anything to show it just shows desktop and I can't even go into settings till it all shows up 1st release didn't do that

Effsi ... FYI = tried 3 different times over the past few days with DomoDomi and each time I end up with never-ending downloading of apps from PlayStore ( using 20130301
Gapps of course ) and even downloaded ROM again yesterday with same results ( of course it could just be my phone or user error since no one else has mentioned it ) ... your first build is working fine - THANKS !
Thanks net build will be much more similiar to the first to hopefully resolve the issue. Will do today I suppose.
