Hey guys,
my question is pretty simple and in the headline. Is there any rom for N8010 with Jelly Bean and the Samsung Apps?
I only found a rom for N8010 which is AOKP and doesn't include Samsung Stock apps.
Also the Rom Leak seems to be only for N8000.
Thanks for any help
Regards,
Wii
Might be best off waiting for the official Jelly Bean update. Hopefully it's not far off, and we get all the Note 2 features. There is a leaked OTA I believe, not sure how stable it is, and it might be for the N8000. But I think that some people got it up and running on the wifi version.
I'm staying stock unrooted till the official update at least.
Patience

Hopefully the rumours are true and pretty soon all regions will get the OTA...
Samsung released Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean XXBLK9 OTA update for the WiFi Galaxy Note 10.1 N8010
Samsung has started rolling out updates recently for most of their devices. After the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 updates, now it’s the time for WiFi Galaxy Note 10.1 N8010. This OTA update brings Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to Samsung’s S-Pen tablet.
The update build name is JRO03C N8010 XXBLK9 and it’s Android 4.1.1. Unfortunately it’s not Google’s latest Android version, as 4.2 has been released some time ago, but any updates are welcome anyway. Also it’s possible to perform a manual update, without the risk of voiding the device’s warranty, because stock updates don’t require root access. We will write a guide soon and update this article once it’s ready.
Currently the update is only available in Germany, but more countries should be next very soon. If you didn’t get the update yet, you can try to search for updates on your tablet or Samsung’s Kies software.
This update weights about 300MB and it comes with the new Premium Suite, which is a really nice pack of apps and features. And Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean also brings some really nice features, like Google Now, a new notification system, Android Beam, improved FaceUnlock, camera and more.
Android 4.1 should also improve the Galaxy Note’s speed and battery life, because it’s much better optimized than Ice Cream Sandwich. All we hope is that Samsung did a good job with the update. We will find out more very soon, once we get our hands on it.

Shame it's not 4.2 but I'm not going to complain.

There's no update for 8010 yet. No rumours, no gossips, no leaks... we have to wait, patiently.
Or...
Some of 8010 have decided to update with 8000 software... I would wait, as official version works for me so stable and I can wait a couple weeks.

Samsung rolls out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S II GT-I9100
Samsung has just started to push Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update to the International Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100. The Galaxy S II is the best-selling Android device of 2011 and has a very large user base that’s why Samsung keeps on updating this device with all the new Android versions as they want to provide the Galaxy S II users with their best support experience.
You might not be able to update your device to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean right away as the update is rolling out in phases. So, it might not yet be available for your country or network provider (If Your device is Carrier branded) but don’t worry the update will arrive soon.
In the history of software updates, the new Jelly Bean update by Samsung to the Galaxy S II is by far the most major update given to a smartphone yet. As we all know Samsung’s ICS update didn’t had any UI changes and had exactly the same UI which was in its Gingerbread but this is not the case with Samsung’s Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update. The new jelly bean update breathes a new life into the Galaxy S II, Samsung has completely ditched the old UI and has given the new Nature UX Interface, which is the same as the one being used in the Galaxy S III Mini and the Galaxy S III, in its latest Jelly Bean update.
Some of the Enhancements in the new Jelly Bean Update:
- Buttery Smooth Performance & Great Stability (Thanks to Project Butter)
- Full User Interface Revamp (Same UI as of the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II)
- TouchWiz Nature UX
- Samsung’s S Cloud services
- Improved Camera features
- New Lockscreen With Many Customization Options
- New Features like Direct Call, Smart Stay and Pop-up Play
- New Widgets (From Galaxy S III)
- 2 Home screen modes
- New Notification bar With More Notification Toggles
- Google Now

Well I think 4.1.2 is not the 'in' thing anymore. We have ROMs on 4.2 already.

What is the most recent stock Android update for the Note 10.1? My new 10.1 has 4.1.2. There was a notice to update software and I did yesterday. This is what installed. I see talk on this forum about 4.2. Is that available for the Note 10.1? When I tell the Note to check for updates it comes back that there are no new updates found.

I think sami doesnt support anymore us. But u can install stock 4.2.2. Or cyanogenmod...as custom rom
Sent from my GT-P5110 using Tapatalk
I think that it will be more difficult even to have a fully functional cyanogenmod because of the changes in the surfaceflinger...TI is out of the market so we won't get further official support i guess...See Galaxy nexus also...
Impossible to have an Official 4.4 update, but I don't doubt that we'll have an stable and fully functioning 4.4 via CyanogenMOD.
but our device is fully capable of running 4.4.x .. this is unfair thats y i dont go for any sammy devices

Our device can run PURE 4.4 smoothly, but Samsung adds crap (aka Touchwiz) to Android...
proof? Official 4.2.2 is a HORRIBLE firmware!
Samsung announced that 4.2 would be the Tab 2's last update. At this point, if you want newer OS versions, ROMs are your only choice. 4.3.1 is pretty standard for roms nowadays. PAC-Rom developers said that they are already working on a 4.4 build for the tab 2, but it will be a while before it's out.
Hello,
long time no see. I bought the note 10.1 a year ago and still waiting for an update. Is there a 4.4 Touchwiz port for the 8010. I am about to install a custom rom. Any recommendations which TOUCHWIZ based custom rom is good. because i am a heavy S-Note user. Or is there a S-Note(2014 verison) port for the 8010.

Nope. None as of yet but we have kitkat omnirom that works very well. No s-note tho.
Next time use the Q&A forum.?
Ask in Q&A forum, this is Dev forum.
BTW, ARHD is a great TouchWiz ROM
It's true that there is not an official kitkat rom or any sort of port of a touchwiz ROM, but we do have official confirmation that the original Note 10.1 will be getting the kitkat update. There has been a partially functional leak already. We can probably expect an official update (and custom roms based on it) in the next month or two.
So while installing a custom ROM might be a great idea, if you like touchwiz you ought to hold out for a bit longer.
i guarantee we all will receive the update at the end of 2015
