BT-Alert v0.2 beta 1 has been codenamed WolfBT.

Installation instructions:
- Download zip file from forum and extract cab file.
- Install Cab File and soft reset device when requested.
- Make sure you have MS .Net compact framework v2.0 ARMv5 installed on your device as this version of BT-Alert only runs on windows mobile 2005 and is not backwards compatible with older versions.

Questions
does this support a2dp and acvrp??
because iv'e just installed this option on my dutch spv m600 and i still want to use these functions so my first question is will it delete all my bluetooth settings???
Next question on what device is this app tested???
Is it an app that uses the microsoft bt-stack or does it install a hole other bt-pack??

This addon was designed to run along with the MS BT Stack. It will not replace or install another stack other than the original MS BT Stack. This new addon will not replace your original BT settings, infact it will enhance your BT experience. It has been on all pocket PCs running both WM2003se and WM2005... So Enjoy.

is there any conflict between Wolf BT and DR YAR BT brogram
I installed WolfBT in my Imate pocket PC and uptonow every thing look perfect.
But I would like to know if there is any conflict if I use DRYAR bluetooth program along with this program as it shows the file name and the sender name during the file transfer.

How-To Verify a digitally signed file against a known serial number
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1
Download the file you wish for your device.
(i.e. "JASJAR_WWE_20108_20301_11300_wwe_ship.zip")
Step 2
Unzip the download.
(double-click the ".zip" file and then click on "Extract all files")
Step 3
Open the directory that you un-zipped the download to.
(i.e. folder "JASJAR_WWE_20108_20301_11300_wwe_ship")
Step 4
Locate the InstallSheild setup program in the ROM folder, then right-click it and choose "Properties".
(i.e. "JASJAR_WWE_20108_20301_11300_wwe_ship.exe")
Step 5
Once the file properties is open select the "Digital Signatures" tab, then in the "Signature List" double-click the "HTCCertificates signing authority" signature.
Step 6
Once the "Digital Signature Details" is open select the "Advanced" tab then compare the "Serial number" with the known one.
(My S/N: “ec b8 10 3b e7 65 19 ba 4f 05 48 14 e3 34 97 61”)
Step 7 (Results)
If the serial numbers match then rest easy because you are using a "TRUE" Jwrightmcps ROM that has not been altered and is virus-free.
If the serial number does not match then it is not my original work and should not be used!
NOTE: I did this is case these files make it onto other sites, it will give you guys a way to tell if it is really mine or not. I will always use this serial number (ec b8 10 3b e7 65 19 ba 4f 05 48 14 e3 34 97 61) from now on to sign all my work, so please make note of it!

I have found a partial fix for the mem-leak that doesnt screw up ROM's, when i get back this evening ill try adding it to this rom and post the result.

Wow Jwrightmcps !!! You've outdone yourself this time. OS seems to be stable so far, phone app hasn't crashed all day , no random soft resets, password lockout solved woohoo !!!, no more memory leaks, accelerated 3D VGA graphics performance (FPSEce 54fps) :-D, and last but not least a faster start menu.
All in all, I'd say this build deserves a 9.5/10. The only remaining issue is the video call option that's been missing in all wm2006 Universal builds. Hope this gets solved soon

People on this thread have already reported that the memory leak has been(though i m yet to try out this rom. What is your 'partial fix' all about Midget? Can you enlighten us a little?

as it stands .. This ROM has memory leak ... imho diversion became even more than in 2.02.00 ..

Bluetooth went off in 20 minutes! Memory down to 25 mb after a single call! Voicecommand, activesync, and all plugins disabled. Nothing installed. I'm back to Jwrightecps aku 3.2. Thanks anyway for your generous effort. No hope for 1.91.02?

But the only issue I have is the memory leak and was wondering does anyone have any solutions.
Also I have tried a video call and IT WORKS!!!
I just make the call from my O2 XDA Exec (With Vodafone Ireland 3G Sim) to another Vodafone Ireland 3G video phone and it works perfectly.
So not sure why people say it does not work for them.
So any updates on the memory leak problem would be welcome, once I get that sorted I think we have a 99.999% perfect ROM release.

i have 26.something .. but it drops rapidly ontil 24.91
no calls apps running whatsoever...

if the rom's mem leak is as bad as teh other posts say i can wait to here how your patching goes midget, the hybred could be the best universal rom todate =D

Are we all using the same ROM?
Someone has no memory leakage, everyone else loads.
I've just reset again (for some reason it froze on reset once) and have had it sit on 32MB storage and 26MB program memory for about an hour (no apps added).

i have a major problem, just wondering if this rom has it fixed....
The top start bar goes dead after a while....so i click on the start button, it doesnt fire up the menu....but the rest of the device is usable,....but pointless eventually needing a restart...
Man, sometimes i wonder, why does god damned MS make such buggy software? Cant it just run on all devices the same way???! Unless they've written "special" code blocks to screw things up on purpose!

Downloading your new ROM. I'm using your last ROM right now, the only problem being that uninstalling skype doesn't actually uninstall it

SDHC Issue
My Sandisk Ultra II 4 GB is not showing up his root in the file explorer. I changed the driver to Enhanced mode (Evenif it was selected initially) and restarted the device. But no use.... 1933 it was working perfect with the same card. Anyone else having this issue >?

I have a problem that my phone buttons does not work and I can't display my old contact that I saved from from WM5. PIM file is about 900K.
The On buton also does not work, to turn the device on I had to push the button and move the screen forward and back.

Great ROM, especially the phone response is really good. No call missing / dropping appeared until now (on R 1.15 supplied with the ROM).
But my 4 Gb SDHC not detecting on this ROM. I tried with 1933, its perfect on that release. I have seen one more report about 8GB SDHC issue in 1958 version release thread.

Notice:
1. There are two steps for the RUU:
* First step will upgrade three programs (At the end of this step the screen will show “Boot-Fail” about 5 seconds, and this is the normal scenario, please let the Magic keep running to second step.)
* Second Step will continue updating 5 programs, and it will spend around 10 minutes for the whole upgrade process, please be patient for the upgrade.
2. This is a generic software update. Any additional software or settings provided by your mobile operator or company will be lost. If you require this customization, please contact your supplier first before upgrading.
Please note that this upgrade will erase any data stored on the phone. We recommend that you back up all your data before performing this upgrade.
3. The update will take up to 10 minutes, DO NOT interrupt the update process, make/receive phone calls, disconnect the phone from the PC, or press any buttons until the process has been completed.

3. Installation Instructions
Before you proceed the ROM Update Utility (RUU), please confirm the following items:
(1) This software upgrade is a newer version than what is currently installed on your phone. If it is the same version and your phone is operating normally, there is no need to reinstall the software.
To check what version is installed on your phone, press Home > Menu > Settings > About phone > Build number, and note the Build number.
(2) HTC Sync has been installed on your PC. HTC Sync can be found on the MicroSD card that was shipped with your phone. You can also download and install HTC Sync at www.htc.com/www/support/
(3) Your phone is connected to your PC using a USB cable. The PC must recognize your phone. You will see a sync icon in the taskbar once the phone has been connected.
(4) Standby and hibernation mode on your PC has been disabled.
(5) Close all running applications on the PC.
(6) The Screen unlock pattern has been disabled, press Home > Menu > Settings > Security and uncheck Require pattern
(7) Make sure that the battery level of the phone is at least 30% (at least 3 green blocks). To check the battery level, tap Home > Menu > Settings > About phone > Status > Battery level.
(8) Once the RUU is downloaded, launch the application on your PC and follow the instructions on screen.
* Click View Readme when executing the ROM Upgrade Utility (RUU) to view detailed upgrade procedure, error message information or Q&A.

**NOOB ALERT**
This is my first post, however this is following 2 days of scouring the forums and trying about a million things so please bear with me.
First my phone info:
Samsung Focus
AT&T
Rev 1.3
OS: 7.10.7720.68 (Mango)
Developer Unlocked Using Official Chevron Token
I am trying to get any of these 3 XAP's to work: Advance Config. OR Accent Changer OR Custom Theme
(Yes I payed $9 to make my dumb squares grey as opposed to the hipster vomit rainbow on offer)
I realize that my device needs to be Interop-Unlocked for these to function, I followed the directions in the Easy Samsung Method, that bundles the unlock with the 3G repair, I then tried the manual heathcliff method (the long stickied post), i then found (through the focus specific board), the Provxml where you hold down on interop unlock and internet sharing to execute thos XML's.
I think, regardless of method, that I am indeed unlocked as WP7 root tools works just fine, However Advanced Config. launches for about 3-4 seconds and then quits, Custom them shows a clock then immediatly closes, and Accent Changer, spits out 4 error messages in a row then closes.
Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there a way to verify I am interop unlocked?
Whats most frustrating is the image on the accent changer post is on a samsung focus!
I have followed the steps to their most minute detail and am stuck. Other XAP's I've downloaded that don't require interopUnlock are crashing after a launch as well, however screen capture, root tools, wario's jewels, and the sharp snes port work great.
The latest Advanced Configuration tools (1.5) work's. Must be an app to app compatibilty issue.
Interop
I also have a Mango Focus and have successfully ChevronWP7 unlocked and interop unlocked and have been able to install and use the Advanced Configuration Tools 1.5, Registry Editor, Screen Capturer, and many other Xaps. Don't know what your problem could be but wanted you to know it can work.
I am having the same issues... some XAP's work, and the majority don't.
