What would you do if you were me?

s3 or note2 /thread

You posted this in Original Dev. Now you post another Question in the General section? You realize there is a Q&A section for Questions.

First off you checked "yes this is a question"
Please read forum rules before posting
Questions go in Q&A
Another rule is to post a question once, not in multiple forums
You posted the other in the developers section...big no-no.
Then you also failed to notice the thread in the General Stickies for discussing other devices where you would get a better response
Thread moved and closed
Thank you for your cooperation

[Help Thread] Ask any QUESTIONS NOOB FRIENDLY

i've been out of the XDA scene for a while.
Im starting this help thread for people new to galaxy SL I9003.
everyone will be given answer for their question provided you'll read whatever we ask you to.
there are a lot of new people (noobs) in the dev section of the i9003.they ask the same question again and again. This thread is for these people who doesn't get their answer there and for general talks too.
Before going to the dev section please clear out your doubts over here in order to avoid any humiliation or for asking unnecessary questions in the Dev Thread.
you can ask any question regarding rooting, flashing or any other help.
I hope other senior members can refer to this thread for helping noobs.
Cheers
There's the Q/A thread and the General thread for that.
No use. Noobs would never read.

Asking Questions - Look Here First

I've noticed that a lot of people post questions in the general forum, so I wanted to make this thread to say that questions should go in the Q&A Section. Please search before posting too.
1. Search the forum for your question.
2. Create a new thread in the Q&A Section

[REQ] Request Threads belong in Q&A forums!

Hello All.
I have noticed an increase on [REQ] and "Request" threads in the "APP and Themes Forum".
Please remember that the above forum is for applications, mods and themes releases, not for making request of any kind. That is why we have a
Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Please make your request there and help us keep our forums clean.
Edit: If you realize that your thread was deleted, think why it was deleted in the first place, We have already spent 4 months since the device release moving your threads, it is a very simple instruction, post where it belongs, thats it.
Have a nice Day.

Help!! Cant Update OTA 4.2.2 for my One XL !

pLEASE DELETE THIS!!
You just posted exactly the same thread in the q&a section. It's against XDA rules to make duplicate posts, let alone duplicate threads. I'm asking mods to remove this.

Don't create multiple posts for the same question.
Question/support issues don't belong in the General section.
I already answered your question here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433422
This is one of the reasons why cross-posting is a bad idea. You jump around to another thread, while someone is helping you in another.

[Completed] Admin needed for OMAP4 Q&A Thread

'scuse me guys,
I am a member in the developer [ROM][4.4.4][CDMA/GSM] Official CM11 (M12 Snapshot Final) thread and XDA created a child thread for new members to post questions as a Q&A sub thread with no post count required for new questions. This is the new thread created:
[Q&A] [ROM][4.4.4][CDMA/GSM] Official CM11 (M10 Snapshot Available 9/18/14)
Notice the difference in the thread title. There is no real admin for the Q&A thread. I cannot request that the "admim" update the thread title because the admin is a "Guest QA Bot". Currently Senior Member ktimque is the Admin on the developer parent thread. When I asked him to update the title of the child Q&A thread, his reply was:
"I don't have access to change it, I think it's stuck as is."
Can somebody help me get a real person Admin to take the OMAP4 Q&A thread, please? Thank you very much.
Hi,
As a senior member of XDA, you should know your way around.... But this is where you can ask,
> General discussion > About xda-developers.com > [All XDA Members] Requests to Moderators and Admins
Good luck! Thread closed.
