Hello People!
Found some awesome lockRing mods on XDA, but very few of them were MDPI compatible :S
So thought of Making them for our Pico. :good:

The Actual Lockscreen Looks Something Like this:

How to Use:
1. Download a Zip From Below. Place it somewhere on your SD Card. For the Sake of this tut, lets assume that it is named Nexus.zip.
2. Download and install this app.
3. Open the app and press options key (the capacitive button on Phone). Select 'Update Edify'. Then Select Browse and Point it to the Zip of the ROM you are Currently using. Then Select Configure.
4. Come Back to main Screen, then tap on +Theme. Point it to the Nexus.zip you downloaded Earlier.
5. Then Tap on Build it.
6. It asks if you want to build an Undo Zip. Select Yes. (Just in Case )
7. Now, you'll get Nexus-Update.zip and Nexus-Undo.zip in Your SD Card.
8. Boot to Recovery and Flash the Nexus-Update.zip. And Voila! You have a New LockRing
Tested and Working Fine on CM10 Alpha 4. Should work on ICS and all CM 10 Based ROMs too.
Check and Report if it Works
I Got it from Here and Resized it for our Phones.
Last But not the least, Clicking the Thanks Button is Easier than Typing 'Thanks'!

I selected the zip and then tapped configure.. It gave me an error saying /sdcard/cm-9-20121004-UNOFFICIAL-pico(build : open failed: ENOENT (No such file or directory) :s Help!

Corrupted Zip may be.. Try Copying ROM Zip Again and it Should Work.
Or Point it tot Any Other Working ROM zip on your Phone. It just Needs the META-INF Folder from ROM Zip.
And Yeah, I'll add Others Soon

The Lockring you want!
See the one in Preview, Download Accordingly.
Eg. If you want the Four Cross with Colors LockRing, Download, Nexus.Zip
For SuperUser, Download the GoogleSuperUser.zip and so on.

The Zip you Download from this thread arent supposed to be flashed in recovery.
use the method I gave.
All zips are working fine.
And yeah, it should work fine on AOKP ICS. (If it doesnt, Report here.)
What you can do Is just upload the Update zips.. Which are ready to be flashed D: .. Wont that work?

The Idea behind Zipthemer is that one mod is compatible with all ROMs available.
If I have to make flashable Zips, I need to make it for very ROM, as every ROM uses Different Framework-Res (or atleast Modified).
Try any flashable zip that works on you Phone. It'll get configured Properly.

1. Options > Settings.
2. update Script Format.
3. Select Edify.
It works for me Everytime! Dunno what Problem you guys having
EDIT: Just Tried with a CM9 ROM zip, and its Working Fine. No Issues.

I get bootloops when I try this, but boots perfectly using the base rom... Can't we use a flashable one? :angel: Thanks BTW

I extracted Rom, then navigated and replaced systemui.apk and made to archive using winrar... I also noticed that Rom has shrunk in size after repacking.

Hi mate search in google 7zip and repack the modified Rom (included systemui.apk) then flash Rom
Do this and tell me. am sure its works dont use winrar for repacking Rom ok

I just saw on the 3rd Screenshot you have more than 400MB? Do Scripts work now so we can increase the internal memory.
The thread is kind of confusing me and I´m not yet allowed to write in it. So maybe you guys could help me how to do it. If I have to reinstall its fine, I could use your modified systemUI.apk than.

Here is flashable file quick setting for sense 4.0..
Instruction;
1-Download file attached below.place it on the root of your sd card..
2-reboot into recovery..go to mounts & storage, then mount sd-ext..
3-flash file..reboot & enjoy..

With that the modded sense 4.0 ist an awesome rom. Fast and stable and I lost 10% of battery today. With CM9 I lost at least 30 by now.

Instructions:
Download the EverVolv-xxx.zip from the release link that follows
Backup your /data contents: contacts, apps, sms, etc. or backup via recovery
Move the EverVolv-xxx.zip to the root folder of your sdcard. Download the suggested Google Apps for CM9 from here (check http://goo-inside.me/gapps/ if you want to experiment with other gapps versions)
Enter Custom Recovery and:
- Select 'backup and restore -> Backup'
- Select 'wipe data/factory reset' (MUST DO)
- Select 'wipe dalvik cache'
- Select 'wipe system'
- Flash the EverVolv-xxx.zip. To do this, Select 'install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard' and select the EverVolv-xxx.zip
- Flash gapps in the same way
Reboot (first boot will take ~2 mins)
Enjoy
Please make sure you followed the above steps before reporting any issues, especially 'wipe data/factory reset'

The picture are from oficial thread, not mine, but i use albino Rom 4.2.2 and the theme of samsung (theme chooser)

Thanks. I got it working with Albino JB 4.2.2 ROM using TWRP 2.5.0 recovery. Looks nice. Can you get Icons, ringtones and wallpapers
from S4?

Right here is a theme flashable with recovery and for use on albinoman887 LATEST build of CM10.1 and all ringtones UI tones notification tones walla papers from S3 weather widget and so on when you flash with recovery be sure that when the phone boots up again go to settings/themes and select fully samsung and reboot then when you boot back up again unlock tones will be of S3 ringtones will all change by themselves to default S3 tones

1) S4_Launcher_[HDPI] By_Linq'z_Qirls'z_Chinese.zip
2) Galaxy S4 Weather Widget [CM10] & [CM10.1] By Linq'z Qirls'z Chinese.zip
I used the above 2 files for my case.
How to Install:
Download the launcher file according to your phone’s screen resolution and the weather widget zip package. Do not extract them and copy to your phone’s SD card. Turn on USB Debugging mode on device, boot it into ClockworkMod recovery mode and install the zip packages as described below. Please note that the weather widget will only run with TW launcher so you cannot install the widget alone.
1.Do not forget to backup your current ROM using “backup and restore” option in CWM.
2.Go to “advanced” and “wipe dalvik cache” (do it before and after installation)
3.Now scroll to “install zip from sdcard> choose zip from sdcard“, navigate to the launcher file and select it.
4.It will be installed in a few seconds and when it is flashed, install the weather widget file the same way as in Step 3.
5.When both files are installed, go to “advanced” and “wipe dalvik cache” again.
6.Finally, go back to main menu and reboot the phone.
This is taken from the link provided in the first post to make it easier for others. This not my work.

Hello everyone..
In my tutorial here, I want to show newbies how to create their own flashable zip file to flash by recovery mode (CWM)...
Now installing your mods become easier and faster
Needed tools for newbies:
1) Download this zip template that I made particularly to devices kernels that support auto-permissions fix feature like our GT-N7000:
Template-for-auto-perm-fix-kernel_v1.1.zip
2) WinRAR or 7-zip program installed in your computer.
3) zip-auto-signer_v1.1 patch in case your kernel needs it (windows users).
4) Cup of hot tea!!!
How is it working?
Open the template zip file by WinRAR or 7-zip (don't extract!! Just open)

Now what you need to do is just to drag & drop your modded file into its corresponding destination inside the zip file.
Copy your finished zip file to your external SD card.
Boot into recovery mode and flash your file... Now you can treat yourself the cup of tea.. you deserve it
Extra step:
If you are using stock kernel that needs verification signature from flashable zip file, then you need to use zip-auto-signer to sign your finished zip file.
First copy your finished zip file from previous step and open "zip-auto-signer" folder (download from above).
Run the zip-auto-signer.bat to create all needed folders.
Now paste your zip file in "put-zip-to-sign-here" folder.
Rename it to any name but don't leave any space between letters.!! and run the script zip-auto-signer.bat.
Now go to "finish" folder and copy "signed_*.zip" into your external SD card.
Boot into recovery mode and flash your signed file
Simple and noob proof tutorial, I hope it will help you all new xda members
N.B: In case anyone needs a template that is coded to fix permissions automatically as well, I have created this template [Template-for-non-auto-perm-fix-kernel_v1.1.zip] so you can use it as your base.. But using this template on kernel that supports auto-permissions fix like Philz kernel will only make flashing time unnecessarily long!!

yes just by simple drag and drop method into the template zip file... just put your app in preload or system corresponding app folder and that's it, go and flash it :good:

If i want to put some app into preload folder can i do it using root explorer..?
Rather than using computer...

I tried it but after flashing it only created the symlink in the system .....app did not copy into the preload folder....

Yes you can but it will not be enough for app to work, you need to fix permissions and to create symlink of that app in system app folder..
why not to try the template above, it will do all the job for you

I tried the above template... Extracted it using root explorer copied app to preload.... created a zip and it only created symlink in app folder Didnt copy the app to preload....
Is it necessary to use computer and do it without extracting the zip files..

How come it creates symlink from no apk in preload partition!!!!??
As I mentioned, don't extract the template, only drag and drop your apk into preload\symlink\system\app folder whether using computer or phone to do that and then flash

I worked all the things . But when it came to run zip_autosigner. It says 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file. Is there any solution.Does i need java to be installed on my pc??

Now I'm Going To Try Some Files to Flash but i wonder somthing, if there is a flashabele zip with 3 folders inside, etc, font ,and system and then if i remove 2 folders from zip can i still flash it?

i think that there must be system folder that puts the application in appropriate path... what is this folders? i haven't seen bofore

Installation
Flash in recovery
or
extract the zip and put app to /system/app and lib to /system/lib and set rw-r-r- permissions
Then go to settings /app /all and clear data of Xperia keyboard
Now you can download dictionaries of your preferred languages from keyboard settings
P.S. : superuser mod must be installed before flashing this

You must be rooted for this, then install a root browser and Mount system "rw"
btw you need to copy files into /system not in /sys

Everything works fine on my Canvas 2!
One minor hiccup is a FC when pressed the settings button on keyboard.
But, settings are accessible from Languages and Input so no problem!!
Say, i flashed the zip through recovery and the keyboard is working fine, i can download languange and change settings fine. However everytime i want to open the smileys the keyboard app stopped, can anyone help me here?
after the keyboard stopped it will work again if i touch on any textfield though, just when opening the smiley it stopped.

Two possible reasons
either you didn't install the superuser mod or you did not clear the data in settings

I see, i certainly did clear the data in settings. So maybe superuser mod is the problem, however i can't seem to install it from CWM, its aborted everytime i try to flash, maybe i'll try to put the file manually. I'm both rooted and deodexed my phone.

Before sending the feedback I tried it!
But smile key make FC
This keyboard has some stability issues after 4 to 5 days of use , i got keyboard stopped responding ! It happened with me multiple times !
stopped working
after flashing zip in recovery,it shows "xperia keyboard has stopped working" error message everytime....i tried cleaning app data but still didnt fix.....so how can i fix this prob????????
